We had a wonderful stay at the Inn of Escalante this weekend! The property is quaint, quiet, and full of charm. Tom, the innkeeper, was incredibly welcoming and a wealth of knowledge when it came to local hikes and dining recommendations. Our room was beautifully decorated with Southwest flair, featuring a stunning hand-painted mural of the colorful Utah high desert. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and Tom’s delicious homemade muffins in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed this cute little place. The owner is a very nice man. I can't say my husband was overjoyed because they don't allow smoking on the property so he had to go stand in the street... partially my fault cuz I didn't notice that when I reserved. No big deal, the street isn't that far away. Quiet little town, nice bed, the shower had good pressure, although it would probably be better for a taller person. The room was decorated and painted nicely. Pretty small TV but we didn't really watch any, just stayed overnight on our way to our destination. There's a quaint little restaurant across the street we ate there and then we walked down to the local pub which was much more friendly to Outsiders and we enjoyed a few drinks there and conversation with others.

What a amazing spot to stay! The owner was so friendly. He came to our door with the best recommendations. Next time we're in Escalante this will definitely be our spot.

Was with my family while the host came out screaming at us over a “policy” that was never in any of our booking information used to make the reservation AND pay of course. Didn’t met the host until checking out. He then showed us a fake paper we supposedly signed that didn’t even have our name or signature on it. If you look into the reviews you’ll see many complaining of the host being rude and intentionally trying to charge extra fees or cancel with no refund. Additionally, there are way better places to stay in Escalante for $170 a night. Do yourself a favor and don’t ruin your vacation by staying here.

Had a great stay the last week in September. Clean and quiet rooms with a large bathroom and nice seating area. The daily treats to go along with the coffee were excellent. Tom also gave us some great tips on eats and sightseeing. I hope I get to stay there again someday in the future.

The INN of Escalante was a refreshing change of pace from the tried and true large hotel chains we usually book. We researched the reviews and were very satisfied with them. We also drove by each of the potential hotels to get their “vibe” and although the Inn is located off the main street, it had curb appeal. The choice we made to stay for a few days was way beyond our expectations! |Clean, comfortable rooms and an added deck and porch was an extra bonus.|The big difference was the personal touch provided by Tom, the owner, who suggested activities in the area based upon one’s physical abilities and desires. That was priceless!|The only drawback:|There was no coffee maker in the room ; however, Tom offered coffee in the lobby at 7:00a.m. |The stay at the Inn was most memorable!

From the road, you may wonder what you're pulling into, but the rooms are beautiful. Clean, clean bathroom, and our room was beautifully decorated with a large mural painted on the wall, and other items in keeping with the area. The owner/manager of the INN is friendly and very helpful, and had coffee and homemade coffee cake ready in the mornings to share wtih guests. He also gave us great suggestions for scenic drives and hikes. 100% recommend this Inn if you find yourself in the area. Also, really good food to be had across the road at Escalante Outfitters, which has both a retail store and restaurant. Also friendly people adn GOOD food.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Inn of Escalante. We stayed just one night. Our room was clean and quaint. The innkeeper, Tom, was very friendly and made sure we knew what was in the area to make the most use of our time. His directions and guidance did help. The Outfitters right next door was really terrific pizza too.
