Our initial welcome could have been better. There is no one on premises for the Inn so we were on the phone with a young woman confused about how to get us into the room as "the keypad was broken". So she eventually instructed us to go to the floral shop owner to pick up a physical key "in a few minutes". The floral shop was obviously not super enthused with finding our key and showing us our room as they are not a paid part of the hotel staff (they informed me). Nonetheless we eventually got in and got our key. She made it seem as if we better get our parking spot quick or we may not have one. We were fine in that regard. So less than a great welcome.||After that, the room looks nice - the bathroom expansive. Good fluffy towels, nice little coffee bar/refrigerator setup, etc. The bed was okay, pillows a bit too big and foamy, but that's a personal pref. Main issue was the exterior porch lights shining right into the room from the gaps of the window covering on the glass doors. There was no way to remedy this but I hope they do something so it doesn't keep everyone up.||There were no informational instructions in the room, and the web site was a bit lacking in that as well but eventually I did find at least the check out time and chose to leave the key in the room. It was not obvious at all how to access the indoor "common" area so we didn't.

This was a lovely place to stay! It was very clean and comfortable and a great location. Easy walking distance to quaint boutiques and local food. You can also walk to the beach and casinos, if you don't mind walks that are around a mile. Our only complaint is the water pressure in the shower. It was almost non existent. That is the only reason I didn't rate the room a 5.

Loved the location and charm of the small inn. We stayed in the Mackey suite and really enjoyed. The bathroom door was broken and the AC was very hard to navigate. The ice machine was broken. A few things needed some attention is only reason for 4 stars on room. Overall really enjoyed.

The Hemingway was very nice. Great location, room was very clean, bed was comfortable and checking in and out was a breeze. The location is right in the entertainment area of Ocean Springs. You can park and walk everywhere. We stayed in the Martha suite. It was large room, with a living room, a little sitting area/nook with a separate bedroom. Room was very well furnished. Will definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable, spacious rooms. Well appointed with nice walk in shower! Really enjoyed coffee and waffles on the house from Bright Eyed Brew while sitting on the porch.

Beautiful little inn. Loved the location as we could walk to all shops and restaurants. Very well set up with all we needed. Thanks for a great stay. We'll be back soon.

We had a great stay, but you really need to put a curtain in the bathroom. The building next door is being worked on and there were guys on ladders that could see in the bathroom. We hung one of the bath towels. Also, the tvs didn't work. They came on, couldn't change channels. All minor issues and we will definitely be back, it's a beautiful place.

Google
Really nice place to stay that is in walking distance from everything we wanted to do. My only complaint is that the shower door does not seal and a good bit of water gets in the floor. Not a show stopper but it is something that needs addressing before their floors rot out.

Yelp
We are frequent visitors to OS. We have stayed at great places like the Beatnik and The Mockingbird Inn. They were booked, so we stayed at The Inn at $1000 for 2 nights. We are one and done. Considering a move tonight! Its location is THE only thing going for this place. It is OLD. It is not well maintained. Went to Walmart for a fan as its window unit wouldn't handle the 82 degree night heat. There was condensation dripping from the ceiling. There was no shampoo. No full shower door. Two towels. Rotten steps. Dirty porch. The room was small and the bathroom smaller. If asked to describe the place in five words: "It is old and overpriced."

Yelp
THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE HEMINGWAY. Unable to find The Hemingway on YELP. These individuals own/manage "The Inn" and The Hemingway down which is down the street from "The Inn". Recently spent 3 nights at The Hemingway. The rooms are well designed and appointed. Location is good, except for the train that roars by early am and late on the daily. Room had an ice bucket but no ice? "The Inn's" coffee shop never opened for the 3 days of my stay. The real problem with this property,Hemingway, occurred on day 2 and 3 of my stay when it was impossible to enter the property. I, and others, were left standing for over 30 minutes while "management" tried to have "someone" come over and check why the keyless entry at the property's common, and only, entry point was inoperable!! I only got in because some other guest exited the entry point. This made my dinner reservation impossible to keep and there where NO alternatives open for dinner in town!!! The owners/managers made no real apology and of course no other accommodation was offered for this inexcusable situation. At these prices you would probably be better served staying at The Roost if you are determined to stay in Ocean Springs, at The Pearl in Bay St Louis, or The Grand Hotel in Fairhope, AL.

Yelp
A little too rustic for me. Really shabby attic sale decor Bathroom was pretty bad. Chairs were hard as a rock. Bed was comfortable Great location

Yelp
Happened to stop here walking around downtown today and found the little coffee shop downstairs. Bright Eyed Brewing Co. very small but so so friendly and the coffee was amazing! The lady behind the counter was so easy to talk to and I just loved her energy. We bonded over a love for lavender lattes. Needless to say I got the Lavender and honey latte. My friend had the lavender and vanilla. We both loved it and were able to sit out front on the cute chairs/table they have. Very cute and would recommend stopping by here if you're a coffee lover.

Yelp
Only two rooms at The Inn. Quaint well decorated, quiet and peaceful with a porch and shade trees. We opened our two doors and just relaxed on the soft bed and watched the squirrels playing outside our door. Within walking distance to everything. Coffee shop was wonderful. Staff was great!! Owners came by to make sure everything was perfect. This is NOT your standard hotel but a wonderful place to relax and enjoy life. We will be back!!!

Yelp
My Mom and I stayed here recently. It was really cute, in a perfect location, and the innkeeper was really sweet.
