I stayed one week in the QE2 suite (their best room). The room was lovely, private, and very romantic (adorned with romantic themes)... highly recommend this spacious suite. On the first day I noted lack of certain services that I expected: (1) No phone in the room to reach the front desk, (2) No ice machine or ice bucket and a refrigerator with no ice, (3) No room service, (4) no elevator to get to the second floor, (5) No marked parking, (6) Complimentary breakfast... but bad for diabetics as everything was carbs and sugars. The front desk was manned at the time by a young man who was inexperienced in providing top notch service. HOWEVER, the third day I was attended to in the dining room by Don, who was a captive ear and apologized for the experience of the first two days. He must have talked to the staff because the treatment the rest of the week was wonderful. They allowed me free use of the front desk printer for certain documents, they delivered food to my room, they cooked bacon and eggs to my liking at breakfast... they were so attentive! I ate at the dining room every evening and the filet mignon was prepared very nicely. A 100% turnaround; so thanks, Don, for the great experience.
