The Inn on Officers Garden

Did a "Staycation" to celebrate our anniversary. What a special time we had. Our room was small but had everything we needed. Bed and linens were marvelous. Staff was so nice and helpful. We had dinner in the dining room and a glass of wine before during happy hour. Our meals were very tasty. Our wait staff, Everett, was very attentive and engaging. Our stay included continental breakfast. Lots of choice, and Don was very friendly.

We just had our first visit to The Inn on Officers Garden. We enjoyed a wonderful family lunch for 9 with our kids and grandkids. We have tried family gatherings a couple times a year at various restaurants in Calgary and none of them come close to Officers Garden. The food offerings were great and varied and for the first time in forever every person at the tabled said they loved their meal which was fresh and served promptly by our very nice and accommodating server. The prices were reasonable and the portions more than adequate. We will definitely be back again, and again and again! Darold & Ann DeBoer

I wanted to express my appreciation for the amazing job the Inn at Officers Garden did for us on Nov 22, 2025. We rented the pub for a birthday party/dinner and it was fantastic. The team of Ranjith, Leanne, Xavier, Everett, Andrea (and the young bartender) were exceptional. Amazing at their craft and “great” people. I had many compliments from attendees about the food, service and venue. I can’t thank you enough for making this such a memorable experience. The restaurant was tuned in completely with our timing and the “surprise” element for my wife was perfect. Everyone was fed and had wine or prosecco ready. When my wife stepped into the pub it was magical. I am so impressed.Thanks again for your fine efforts. A great time was had by all. You have an amazing team and fantastic venue.

Thank you Ranjith, Sean, Don, Angel and the rest of your team for the top notch service you provided for our company Christmas party. From the moment we walked into this unique historical venue we were warmly welcomed and staff went far and beyond to make our evening an enjoyable one. The complimentary valet service on our cold evening was much appreciated. We enjoyed a delicious buffet in our room in the East Wing and our venue, along with all of the Inn, was beautifully decorated for the season. Everyone had a wonderful experience and we look forward to visiting again! Ramona

I came here for a business meal and the service was pretty good although a bit slow for a mid week meal. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I have to say how disappointing the whole meal was though. Got an espresso martini (no beans on top) but was very sugary and did not have great taste I couldn't finish it. I ordered the Brussel sprouts and the chicken wings for my meal and the Brussel sprouts although looked appealing to the eye was very bland, again couldn't finish it. I was starving at this point so when the wings came I did finish them and they were were tasty which was nice and the portion was great but they were over cooked that every single one of them were so crispy. It takes alot to write a poor review but the food over all was so disappointing. The service deserves the good stars. Parking was atrocious with the construction and such. Probably would give it one more try to test another meal as the other ones looked better but won't be high on my list to come back!

We went to this location for a work christmas function. We had a small group of 12. Venue was very nice, atmosphere was good. Our server was OK, had lack of professionalism with certain comments and it seemed to take longer than normal to get another drink ordered. Food was OK, nothing special. Ordered a meal for two and the portion size was in my opinion, for one. It divided into some small carrots, three pieces of broccoli each, small dollop of mashed potatoes, and my wife got 2 small pieces of meat, while I got 3. Not impressed for 140 bucks. Dessert was OK, but took 30 minutes to come out. Especially as it was not busy, and mainly cheese cake. Creme brulee was also cold. From my past tastings of this dessert, the custard is usually served warm. All in all, I would not go back.

We held our company Christmas party here last night. From the very beginning stages of planning to execution, the experience was very positive. The initial planning stages with the events coordinator, Leanne was overall a good experience. The best part of it all was seeing the event unfold. We arrived to find the Inn was beautifully decorated with Christmas decor. It was very charming and cozy. The selection at the buffet was plentiful, and food was good. The signature cocktails were also very well done thanks to Angel. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Liz, Angel and Don for going above and beyond making sure our guests were well taken care of. They were very attentive, friendly, and prompt with any of our requests. They interacted with us so much that both Liz and Angel agreed to do a fun 360° Photo Booth with us. Thanks so much ladies for joining in and all the hard work! To all the staff at the Inn at officers Garden, thank you for a fantastic evening. Our guests were very happy!
