Perfect location! Right across from the ocean, and many beaches within walking distance. Two ATMs nearby within walking distance. Nice restaurants that are walkable. But the nicest part of my stay was the guys in charge. Cameron helped us carry our luggage and groceries up. Steve and John were always on hand for anything we needed…..garbage bags, etc… and Roxie gave us extra forks out of her own stash. It’s really like family there. The breakfast in the morning is prepared to perfection. The hotel also provides endless COLD refreshing water with cups. The views are amazing and it you end up here on a Sunday, you’ll get to hear the church service next door. There is a really nice park down the street with basketball and tennis courts, swings, and an obstacle course. I will definitely stay here again.

They are very accommodating and it’s convenient to a lot of shops!! They have breakfast every morning in the courtyard and it’s prepared fresh and the people that are there are very warm and inviting..this is my second trip and I have stayed here both times and will continue to as long as I come here on vacation.. You can’t go wrong when you stay here and the beach is so close we can walk to it ..lots of places to eat .. It’s a win win.. Don’t give it a second thought you have to stay at this place..

I can't even put the right words together to explain how happy we were with our stay. The location, the rooms, the bed, the view, the sounds of the ocean. The price was excellent. The rooms are very clean. The guest services stayed on top of every need. I CANNOT wait to visit again. Definitely got some much needed R&R❤️💛💚

This is my 2nd time to stay at the Inn and will definitely return!!! It was easy to book the room we wanted and received a warm welcome! John and Roxy are wonderful! They are very welcoming and treated us like family! We were treated with respect and John and Roxy are exceptionally accommodating. Steve, security was always monitoring the Inn and we felt very safe. The rooms are clean and the environment healthy. We were provided with fresh linen and towels always and upon request. We had a balcony with a doorwall leading to a beautiful ocean side view. The pricing is very reasonable if not more for the rooms and service provided. The Inn is right in Fredrickstead and food and shopping within walking distance. They have a beautiful courtyard with a restaurant that serves homemade breakfast cooked by local residents and also a huge balcony with a grill available for guest use. 'm giving the Inn on Strand Street a 5/5 star rating and will stay here again in our next trip!

We stayed here our last night on St Croix but I would have been fine staying here our entire trip. It is located right across the street from the pier and the beach. It has safety features like a code gate, and the rooms were secure. They provide you with a microwave and a refrigerator and freezer, even a coffee maker and a sponge to clean. The rooms were clean and I liked how the sliding doors opened onto the courtyard. The courtyard had a cool water feature and seating areas and trees. It also had a really nice Diner that we eat at for breakfast. The prices were amazing and the food was delicious and the people were nice. They have washing machines throughout the inn and I really can't say a bad thing about this place. Would recommend it to anyone coming to visit this part of St Croix

Google
It's a nice place. The personal make efforts to have a good service and clean rooms. But don't go with the idea to find a 5 stars hotels because it's not. The building it's a little old and need a few improvements, but the rooms have a beautiful view of the pier and are equipped with kitchen and some table to eat. Nice place to be in a weekend and look around.

Fantastic breakfast with great price and good portions. We almost went there for breakfast every day during our stay. Their omelettes are the best in Federiskted and they come with fresh coffee. Esther works there every day and she’s very friendly and nice

When I arrived at the hotel the room clearly was not cleaned. The toilet seat had dried feces on it and the sink had toothpaste spit dried on the faucet. One of the grounds keepers gave me a hard time because he had to clean sand off the stairs 3 time and didn't want to clean it again.(we washed out feet off before returning to the hotel), I would think being across the street from the beach cleaning sand would be part of a daily routine. Most other hotels have a foot wash to prevent sand.

Yelp
I stayed here last week while I was in St. Croix to work a few days. I reserved the cheapest room but before I got there they called me to let me know they had a cancellation and upgraded me into a suite facing the ocean. The view was amazing! I was able to see the ocean while laying on my bed. One morning I saw a cruise ship approaching the island! I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast because I left too early each morning. Parking was easy to find on the street in front of the hotel especially since my rental car was compact. This place was the most reasonable place I could find and I'm glad I stayed here and saved my job a little travel money.

Yelp
Just got back last week and I wish I could of stayed forever. Location is amazing, best snorkeling on the island is at your doorstep. Sandy the manager was so helpful and professional. I would give this place a 10 if I could.

Yelp
The Frederiksted Hotel offers breakfast daily. We go there when we want a simple plate of eggs, bacon, and toast. You get to sit in the nice little courtyard next to their pool. It's the most reasonably priced breakfast you can get in Frederiksted. Bring your CASH- they don't accept credit cards.

Yelp
Horrible hotel. Outdated decor/furniture, incompetent office staff and fraudulent business practices. Watch out for the bait and switch when you reserve a room. They tend to allow you to reserve and will require a deposit but when you arrive the room you reserved is not available and they will try to put you in another room which will most likely be an unacceptable choice. They rates are outrageous but you wont realize this until you arrive and see the place in person. This place needs to be reported to the proper agency as it is unfair for travelers to arrive and be duped.

Yelp
St. Croix We are winding up our 7th week at Fredericksted's Inn on Strand Street on our first visit to St. Croix. Location, location, location. We look right out on the ocean where you can swim, snorkel or SCUBA dive just by walking across the street. This has truly been a home away from home as we are treated like family--only better. Deja and Taj really make the place hum! Leaving reluctantly but with nothing but good memories of the island!

Yelp
This is a"BEST" kept secret around for a bargain and quality accomodations. Right on the Strand facing the gulf with balconies! Full of European families when I was there. The place is quiet with concrete walls, spacious with even a bathtub and a small kitchen. Ms. Nieve, the manager, gets two thumbs up and five stars for the excellent and friendly service she provided. TV was small and there is no pool, but there is a courtyard, a/c in the rooms, and the park outside. Beach is several blocks away. Come in by dark. No parking. Friday night the park at the pier has a live band and plenty of police. My taxi bus ride from the airport cost me $7 and $2 for one bag and $1 tip. Get a good burger and fries for $10 at yum yum hut on King st.

Yelp
These contract workers that they have living here is a noisy. They are up all night and my 2 year old cannot sleep. They all live on the second floor. They are really loud right now. They have benches set up not in front of their room but yours. You cannot walk through because they are on both sides. This morning a guy was literally shaving his legs on the gate. I couldn't believe it. The island pictures of this place is not like what is posted. That may have been before the last hurricane but they are definitely not like that. I do not recommend this place.
