I stayed here because it seemed like the cheapest place to stay in Singapore, and perhaps it was. If you can afford a little more, though, definitely go for it.
This place wasn't terrible, but I've experienced a lot better. There's only AC in the rooms at night, and the lights go off after a certain time. Rooms were pretty stuffy in the day and loud at night. Some rooms aren't rooms at all, with no door or a walkway to other rooms going through them. Lockers are all outside the room, which only served to increase noise as people went in and out of the room to retrieve items. Outlets (not enough to go around, though) are only available downstairs, which was difficult to manage as I had busy days planned and didn't really want to wait 2 hours for my phone to fully charge.
My favorite part was the free breakfast and the free tea throughout the day. The breakfast was simple and self-serve - you get two eggs and unlimited toast with butter and jam - but was enough to power me through the next few hours. You can use the fridge and kitchen throughout the day if you like, which is a nice touch for those staying long-term. There's also a 7-11 right next door and some tasty eats around Little India.
Definitely not an awful hostel, but I felt like it could have easily been improved with a few simple additions, like outlets in the room or just more downstairs.
