This was our first and last time staying here. We visit Gasparilla Island once or twice a year. This time we decided to try staying at the Inlet for our wedding anniversary. The room was basic and average at best. $150-170 tops. Not nearly worth the $288 + taxes/fees we paid. There are no elevators and no one offered to take our luggage up for us. Not a huge deal. I kept on seeing some kind of ant winged like bug as well within the room. The real problem was the bed. It was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. It caused us both terrible lower back pain. My wife was in so much pain she was crying. We thought about sleeping in our vehicle but it was so hot out and we didn’t have much gas to be able to leave it running all night. There are also no black out curtains like most hotels have, only blinds that do very little to shut out the lights that shine outside of the room. All in all in was a miserable night and because neither of us got any sleep and were in pain we ended up heading for home that morning after checking out rather than going down to stay at Sanibel Island like we had planned. When I told the desk clerk at checkout about the terrible night and the bed situation he just told us the beds are new and other people like them rather than offering even any type of partial refund. They got our money and that’s all that mattered to them.

I just had the most horrible experience I've ever had in my entire life of trying to make a reservation. My husband and I both were looking so forward to possibly staying at the inlet because of all the wonderful things that we have heard. This morning I made a phone call to attempt to make a reservation and had the rudest experience ever. A woman named Jo answered the phone. She seemed completely irritated that I even called. She said she just walked in the door very abruptly. I even said just take your time I have plenty of time go ahead and get a cup of coffee and just sit down and we can get a reservation started. I then asked her if there was any availability this weekend for a room for my husband and myself to get away from Sarasota Florida. She says at this point oh it's stressful in Sarasota? No business making that comment!!! I continue to be soft toned and gentle with her. She said they had one room available. I asked her where the room was located and she got aggravated. She said don't you know what our property looks like. I said no I have only been to Boca grande one time seven years ago for a day trip. She then told me the price and told me to get my credit card. While I went to get my credit card after giving her my general information I handed the phone to my husband so I could retrieve the credit card. She then said what's the number? My husband said are you in a hurry shes going to get it. SHE THEN HUNG UP HIM!! This woman is the most awful representation that you could have for the inlet. She does not need to be working there!! It is my understanding that this property is owned by the Gasparilla Inn. This review is not going to help in any positive way. We travel a lot and will never stay at the Inlet. Absolutely astounding and ridiculous experience Ive ever had in making a reservation! This woman needs to be FIRED! We will gladly give our business to another property there on beautiful Boca grande who appreciate the business.

Charming water front accommodations in great location - 3 minutes from town. The rooms are kept spotless and all the staff we encountered were polite & efficient. Free parking is always nice and hot coffee (best on the island since the 'Inn Bakery' fell victim to hurricane Ian) is available in the office. The property also has its own casual restaurant serving generous portions of good food.

As I write this, we are preparing to check out. Loved our stay here❤️ Perfect location, we love to walk and we got many miles in! The beach is great as well as downtown and all around!! Biggest surprise is it's pronounced "grand" when it's spelled Boca Grande! We slept SO well in the comfortable bed!! Perfect hot shower! Restaurant has DELICIOUS breakfast (omelet with potatoes and we chose scrumptious raisin toast). Waitress unbelievably good and memorable for her service and positivity. Beautiful bayou near which to totally relax. Staff amazingly friendly and efficient. Landscaping gorgeous and manicured. Most incredible is the CLEANING...immaculate and meticulous!! We have never experienced better. This place was a total delight and it even poured rain the first day! We are entirely grateful.

Yelp
We love the Innlet! We stayed here in a recent trip to the area and it was absolutely wonderful. Clean rooms, friendly staff and guests. Quaint indoor and outdoor dining.

Yelp
This is an awesome place to stay. It is waterfront, with some beautiful boats here, so the view from our room is divine. There us a nice outdoor pool that is enclosed for privacy. Nice kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator cooktop. We have stayed many places here, and although its hard to beat ocean front, the price is right.

Yelp
We have now stayed at the Innlet multiple times. It is a Keys type motel with docks, boat ramp and great breakfast and lunch. Pet friendly and located close to downtown and within a short walk to a great stretch of Boca Grande's fabulous beaches. Clear water, white sand, bright sunshine, lapping water on the shore. We have enjoyed the Innlet very much. Quiet. Over looking waterways and natural habitat. Lots of space for your skiff, kayak or outback boat. There are a variety of room types so reservations are recommended. We always go for the second story double queen room with 2 burner stove, microwave and refrig although we are yet to use the stove because we zip downstairs for the best breakfast and pastries in the area - pancakes recommended or into town for dinner with the Pink Elephant our favorite. Staff is accommodating when you need them and invisible when you do not. The facility is old but very well maintained, clean freshly painted. Rooms clean and more than adequate. If they changed out the doors and placed louvered blinds on the windows you could close your eyes and pretend your in the islands. Yes they have TV but again like the stove hardly used. Then there is the water in Boca grande and its lighthouse and inlet. Something to behold. A sunset at the lighthouse is remarkable or across the road at the beach at the Innlet. The water is brilliant aqua green in the cuts as you cross the bridges to the island. - watch out for the speed bumps and the Gasparilla sheriff's radar. We have been up and down and around the west coast of Florida and this is an absolute favorite place with one exception. Ask about the red tide. You do not want to go at that time. Fishing and boating is great and in abundance with lots of tarpon and bone fish. It's a great destination and the Inlet is just plain comfortable.

Yelp
We spent a fabulous weekend here this weekend. We were in town for a wedding and we wanted to find a more affordable place to stay over The Gasparilla Inn. This place was perfect! Here are the highlights: 1. The location is walking distance to The Gasparilla Inn/ like 4 blocks 2. The rooms are spotless and the beds are very comfortable 3. The employees are very friendly and accommodating 4. It is on the water 5. The price is very affordable 6. They have the best breakfast on the island I will always recommend this cute inn on Boca Grande Enjoy!

Yelp
Quaint little place to come for breakfast. Good food and great service. Their special omelette was delicious - veggies and feta. I don't know if I've ever had feta in an omelette Setting by the water is so peaceful. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Very pleasant stay at the Innlet! This is one of the few places on the island to rent by the night, I hear. The room was clean. We had an efficiency, so had a fridge to store items. There are 2 doors, 1 that opens to the parking lot and pool area and the other to the dock/restaurant. Breakfast at the Innlet restaurant was an incredibly relaxing, island experience. The portion sizes for breakfast were generous - perfect for fueling up before a busy day.

Yelp
I haven't stayed here, but have had great breakfasts on the water here on several occasions. Very good food, friendly service, recommend!

Yelp
This hide-away restaurant is a real gem! Part of a small hotel, where you can dock your boat, and enjoy the phenomenal atmosphere with great food. Nothing fancy, but everything perfect! We had quesadeas, a Burger, and a steak sandwich. All were great! The Burger was exceptional, thick, jucy, and flavourful! All came with Fries which were perfectly crispy, and perfectly spiced. The portions were large, the service fast and friendly. A great place for a meal, or drink.
