Whole apartment for almost 2 years has ants, Nats, Rats and roaches. My bathroom lord the tub Still hasn't been resurfaced it's been a year since I put in my first maintenance request that they mark as completed. Washer and Dryer broke 3 times the 3rd time Cassandra in the leasing office states maintenance no longer fixes washer and dryers even though it came with my unit. While apartment has a disgusting smell coming from the pipes because of the washer and dryer. Pest control fees but maintenance and the office gave me 4 bombs so no REAL PEDT CONTROL came to spray for this infestation. Asked to renew my lease in September and upgrade to the 2 bed I initially applied for back in September of last year , they said I can't because rent was late, NOBODY WANT TO PAY RENT AND CANNOT HAVE COMPANY OR KEEP HAVING TO GET NEW TIRES FOR GIANT POT HOLES AND WIRES IN THE STREETS. NOW I have been forced to break my lease and the leasing office happily gave me the 72 hr vacate notice for non-payment but I'm not paying anything because y'all don't care for your tenants unless we cause havoc and I'm not diminishing my character for no one ! Y'all can have this apartment that woman Cassandra in the leasing office is rude as well don't move here! The city now owns the apartments after several fines, now they wanna fix cosmetic issues and so many other tenants/neighbors have broke their leases and moved and I don't blame them. Give your hard earned money and can't enjoy where you pay RENT IS CRAZY! I WISH I COULD GIVE NO STARS .. I have videos and pics and screenshots of everything so TRY ME 🤗✊🏾

I knew someone who lives here; it got to the point where I would dread visiting them. I started taking my showers at home, so I didn't have to take them while at his place. The worst feeling in the world is turning on the bathroom light or any light at night, and seeing roaches scatter. As you're bathing, you look down, and the roaches are trying to bathe with you. Hell, they are all over the place. You can tell they don't properly fix the apartments; the work done is below subpar, it's just enough to get the next person moved in. The sink in his apartment should have been replaced, and the shower, I'll say the same. The door doesn't have a deadbolt; it just has a circular lock tool you use instead of a deadbolt. The environment isn't a safe one; I wouldn't dare walk around or even go out after the sun went down. There are a lot of questionable characters and homeless people just walking around with no intent, unless it is ill intent. The parking lot is a mess, but it fits perfectly with the environment. Let this be a lesson: when you do not act responsibly and collect evictions or a criminal record, places like this will take full advantage of you. They don't have to be of quality, nor do they have to give you the best of apartment living. They can give you the bare minimum, and you'll just have to deal with it. I'm sure many don't choose to live here; they just have nowhere else to go that would allow their histories, including rental. Crazy work!

DO NOT MOVE HERE — Horrible Experience! Water was cold for days — no hot water at all, day or night! No matter how long you try to warm it up, it stays freezing. Maintenance is terrible; they just rig things instead of fixing them properly. They claim your water bill will go up no matter how much you use because it’s “shared” with neighbors — what kind of scam is that?! Rent was supposed to be around $800–$900, but now it’s jumped to $1,200–$1,300 a month for this nonsense. There are raccoons on the roof, possums and cats sleeping in trees by the patios, and the whole place is covered in animal poop — you can’t walk anywhere without stepping in it. Constant shootings, constant police — even blood in the walkways that never gets cleaned. The staff are unprofessional and disrespectful. You’ll see them hanging outside drinking Hennessy or doing TikTok dances while real problems go ignored. They gossip about residents’ personal business like it’s entertainment. The parking lot is full of glass, potholes, and trash that will destroy your car. There are 20 stray cats sitting on your porch or on top of your car every day. Roaches everywhere inside. It’s honestly disgusting and unsafe. The only decent worker was the old security guy — he’d walk around live-streaming on TikTok with his big iPad, but at least he actually patrolled the area. Avoid this place at all costs — you’ll regret it!

Tried to get an apartment for my husband and these were the conditions of a “move in ready” apartment we were presented with. Upon my husband putting keys in the door for the first time this is what he walked into. The apartment would not allow us to see the unit prior to lease signing. Not less than 15 minutes after seeing this we decided he isn’t staying there and we canceled the lease. The complex proceeded to charge us $1800 for a lease that was signed for less than 15 minutes 😑😒. I also provided my own renters insurance for the time the lease was for but they charged me for “their” renters insurance anyway…

I moved out of this apartment complex in September, and this unprofessional place continued to charge me rent. It is now almost April 2025, and nearly $2,000 worth of bills that I did not accumulate are still on my account. The management is terrible; I've been going back and forth for months with no resolution. I advise against moving here—please take your money elsewhere. will be suing. Update: Almost a year later, and the charges are still there. DO NOT MOVE HERE

Google
It wasn’t bad for me living here ! It’s just certain things like maintenance wasn’t on time with certain things I needed fix but eventually they did come out and fix it . When I first moved in here I had a lot of roaches like it took me awhile to move in but eventually I got the problem fixed and I was comfortable ever since ! The area is not that great but it is a lot of stores around the area walking distance and driving distance, and my bathroom tub started to chip as well so I wasn’t able to tsk baths just showers but if they get the right people to fix up the apartment complex it would be 100% better

I've been living here for a while now, and I can honestly say it's the best apartment I've ever had."""

Yelp
They have a decent maintenance crew, and one man in particular is fast and efficient. However, The Interlace loses stars for allowing the breach of community standards. The tenants have all signed the community standards as part of the contract. Tenants leave garbage by their apartment doors, play loud music, harass, shoot guns, loiter, kill pets, and break curfew. Even threats to do bodily harm to others is shouted outside the door by some tenants. If you have mental health concerns, The Interlace is probably the last apartment complex you wish to rent, regardless of move-in specials or cheaper prices. I have an ongoing harassment issue from my upstairs neighbors. I've tried reaching out to the complex's management office, the police, the city, and even the management company that owns the property. The problem has been going on for over a month now, and nothing effective is being done. What are they doing? They're not walking around normally or go about their own business throughout the day. They tend to stay directly overhead, stomping, knocking on walls, what sounds like them wrestling, vacuuming in the early hours after midnight, and dropping heavy objects. I can tell this is all being done deliberately, because of what I've got in terms of records. I have proof, but the complex's management team doesn't do anything with it.

Yelp
I have never had such an unprofessional experience in moving into an apartment. So much so I asked for my deposit back. One trying to get someone on the phone was horrible. When I did I felt like I was rushed and uncared for. If you don't have residents you don't have a job. I kept my cool even told the Assistant manager Ms. Adams to have a blessed rest of her week because what you won't do is talk to me crazy because maintenance is not showing up. If I am scheduled for the 15th to move in I shouldn't have to hunt you down to see if my apartment is ready. I actually came by the property and Katrina the manager was like do you have an appointment? Stood at the office door like security. She did tell me the leasing agent was no longer there and to be honest I see why. They just don't have it together. Um since when is this a thing for an appointment because when I first came to the property I didn't. I tried to explain to them I had training in CO and I just needed to know the information so I could set up my utilities. They said that someone was still occupying the unit. Umm I move in on the 15th the date was the 6th. How in the world is this a thing? Now Damoria I know I spelled that wrong Adams was like we can give you the biggest one bedroom. I called her back to confirm she was like no! That one is not ready as well. Make it make sense. I simply decided to keep my peace and ask for my deposit back. I often feel some people just shouldn't work with the public. I do hope they get it together but as for my peace of mind I will take the hit on not dealing with craziness. I know property management can't be easy but this isn't a place for me.

Yelp
Do not REPEAT Do not move into these apartments I lived here for 5 years and management sucks especially Katrina Wade and Damarian Adams. I moved out in September and as of 12/11/2024 they are still charging me for rent and utilities after months of reaching out to multiple staff members and Karya property management themselves the issues have not been resolved. take your money elsewhere. believe all the negatives reviews. Former name Cielo Ranch apartments murders and everything occured while living here take you, your family and money elsewhere.

Yelp
Moving in today was a breeze, thanks to the fantastic management and well-maintained property. The apartment was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. The building is quiet, and the amenities are top-notch. I'm excited to start this new chapter here and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great home!!

Yelp
Me and my fiancé lived there for one year. We were really naïve when we went into it because it was our first apartment and it turned out to be the worst possible experience. First off I'll start with the front office: As we lived there, we noticed they continuously shortened the office hours and continuously made it more and more difficult to reach the office. This included turning the phone into just for voicemails, locking the office at all hours of the day and only allowing you to email them in order to set up an appointment. this was by far the worst experience I've ever had and these women are some of the most rude and inconsiderate people I have ever met. Including the time where the office manager laughed in our faces because we had been knocking for 20 minutes on the office door because they had towed my fiancé's car right before he had to go to work and we needed to figure out where the car was, and they ended up giving us a number that went straight to voicemail, and a towing company that simply didn't exist on Google. Second the apartment itself: When we came into our apartment, our apartment was completely outdated. the vacuum would lift the carpet completely off of the floor. The paint job was already peeling the ceiling in the bathroom was molding the kitchen counters leaned forward where you can see the old paint that was holding the countertops up was stretching and bubbling, and there was already so much dirt in the apartment that we deep clean the apartment the first day we moved in. We found that there was an abundance of gnats rats and cockroaches from day one Third the neighborhood and neighbors: there was constant gunshots, some of which that would come from inside the apartment complex trails of blood had been found on the concrete, trash would pile up so badly inside of the community dumpster that it would spill all through the top, and be sitting all into the road not to mention the huge potholes. The security guards that we had met, and the first day after a few weeks of us living there disappeared. Also, don't bother calling the cops because they will just simply not show up when you call them. I was trapped in my house due to my neighbors fist fighting each other, having a domestic dispute for two hours, directly in front of my door blocking the stairs for me to get down to my car. I called the police and they did not show up for four hours, even though I had told them that I physically seen them hitting each other not to mention, the neighbors are pretty freaking gross as people near us would leave their piles of trash directly outside their doors for weeks on end and the people across from us who had been throwing their child's diapers and trash off the balcony. Door checks were constant so badly that some people with rings had printed pictures up of some of the perpetrators. The dog poop the cigarettes the beer bottles the homeless people walking around the grounds. Fourth the amenities: when we moved in, we were informed that we would be getting two pools, a gym and two laundry facilities, which, after moving in we found to be all false advertisements, the pool connected to the leasing office was never unlocked and the leasing office was never opened so you could never go in there and ask them to unlock it. While the other pool was disgusting to say the least the pool water was always dark brown but also it was locked. The gym are was also always locked and not able to be accessed and I was informed we weren't able to use it. One of the laundry was used as a storage area and the other laundry was locked and had a note that it was closed down until further notice. Overall just don't

Yelp
WARNING!!! To avoid writing a book about all the reasons why you should not move here, I'll just say RUN and Do Not look back. Should you not heed this WARNING, proceed at your OWN RISK!

Andy V.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and do NOT move here. Moral of the story, I have gone 2 years without A/C and I wrote a yelp review half a year ago and still nothing. This is my final review to help others make sure they don't make the same mistake a did. Here are ALL my attempts to get it fixed over the year and all the evidence I need to take legal actions. RIDICULOUS, I and everyone who lives here deserve a lot more than this. All they want is your money. People literally die because of the heat and they seem to careless. Side note I have seen two people die on these apartments, not sure if it was cause of the heat, and one person shot right in front of me.

Yelp
The office people are very nice, never had an issue with any one of them. It's always quiet, nobody bothers you at all which I like giving the fact I love my peace and quiet. Always acts on maintenance requests and gives jobs info. for working at home from. Would recommend.

Olivia B.

Yelp
Great facility, I was having my washer and dryer shipped to my apartment and they didn't have the hose that was suppose to be their. I called maintenance they came within 5 minutes to put it in.

T T.

Yelp
Yeah severe roach infestation. I've been on pest control since september and i still have roaches. And nothing has changed. They claim they don't know of the issue and yet...I've sent them messages through their resident portal, called and showed up at the office lol. I have more proof and may even post their faces. Along with a video of one of the people from corporate saying that they would mark me as "refusing services" because i asked their people to turn down the music. Contact Dallas City Hall for code compliance and force them to fix your roach issues everybody! If they don't respond to the first letter within 7 days, a second one will go out. If the issue isn't solved or they haven't made a second attempt, you can legally break your lease. Just verify with code compliance first. They are currently under litigation with the city of Dallas because they never fix their issues.

Yelp
Worst apartment I ever lived in. The carpet was extremely dirty when i moved in . It was suppose to be changed before I moved in . The stove did not have a handle on it took them about 5 months to get one . The restroom cabinet was broken off. The laminate floor was full of drops of paint. There were holes in the restroom. Very bad roaches . There is ALWAYS A PROBLEM WITH THE HOT WATER and they NEVER notify you. I have lived here 7 months and will be MOVING ASAP. Breaking my lease DO NOT MOVE HERE !!

Yelp
The interlace work staff has been wonderful since I've moved in, they've helped me find a great unit to rent for a good price, not only that the workers are very friendly and will laugh and Joke with you while maintaining professional behavior and getting things done. They understand when a Situation is unfair and will correct it right away. The work staff is very understanding and honestly a good group of people. Today they even had a back to school event for kids at the apartment and were handing out schools supplies and food which is a great way for the community to bond together. Shanika (the manager) as well Ms. Green and Ms. Martha are good, kind, and understandable people. The interlace is in good hands.

Yelp
This is literally the worst place you could live. I originally moved in when I was about 5 months pregnant at first the apartment and area seemed nice but after being here for a year I have nothing but negative things to say. First and foremost this is the worst place to raise a child. When I moved in the air was not working, nothing was updated as they said it would be, the hot water didn't and still does not work correctly and I've been here a year There was a rape in the mailroom, a fire due to drugs, police do not patrol and neither does courtesy patrol, there's shootings almost everyday, drug dealers hang outside, neighbors are loud and unclean (my neighbor leaves trash out in the hallway for weeks, imagine the smell) there's a trash bag on top of the laundry room that's been there for months. They have a severe roach and gnat problem, I had to bomb several times and pest control (although you pay every month) just put down bait when they should be spraying regularly. Maintenance is trash. They barely respond, one maintenance worker even admitted "they're not gonna fix sh*t". They don't even have keys to my apartment. Parking is always an issue. They don't tow. People stay hitting your car, I have so many dings and swipes on my car. I say that to say, just please read the reviews before making your decision to live here.

Mary C.

Yelp
Hate this place! Everything that has come out of their mouths have been lies!I moved into a remolded unit and they said it would be cleaned before I moved in. Not only was it not cleaned, but the AC was leaking and did not work. I was supposed to move in on a Friday, told them it was unbearable in the Texas summer heat and that I would come back Sunday giving them about 2ish days to fix everything. Nothing was done. I had to move my stuff into an apartment that was 98 inside. Took them about a week to fix the AC and another 2 weeks to fix the leaks. Maintenance guy stole my hand towel I was using to soak up the water from the leaks. 3 weeks to get a mailbox key. Then they called me saying they messed up my rent amount and they were going to hike up my rent another $100 after I was already there for 3 weeks, and last night I found out we had to register our cars so they don't get towed. They did not tell me this, my neighbor whose car was already towed told me this. That's just the tip of the iceberg...

Aida B.

Yelp
I have living at this place for about 7 months it is the worst. Starting from the A/C unit ever since I moved in. Management stated that it was damage due to the incident occurred with the fire. I understood, until 2 weeks went by and nothing. I was tired and exhausted of them just saying lies about the A/C. The parking is another big issue they state about they towing, I don't see no towing go on. I arrive from work and there is no parking lot, near the building I stay in. I have to drive all the way to back which I have no business parking my vehicle in the back. Also, this have been told to management. What they did was give me a warning for something that they had no business look through. I have two kids, they play out in the patio. Why would my kids not have there toys or things out, it's not trash. They want everything clean, but yet they have roaches, rats and little animals going around. I don't see pest control doing no where near there job either, but office is really good to be charging us for it. Please if you see this review think about if you actually want to live in this conditions. Everything is this place is bullshit.

Nakeisha D.

Yelp
These apartments have changed so much from a while ago i worked with Celia who was on top of everything and stayed in touch all the way up till I moved in and after she is truly the best ask for her hands down
