I would give more stars, but not for the harassment from my upstairs neighbors. They have stomped, vacuumed in the early hours after midnight, sounded like they’re wrestling, knocking on walls, and dropping heavy objects. All of that happens mainly directly overhead. They’ve deprived me of sleep, having a negative impact on my mental health. I’ve told management (giving them my proof) called police, and even got the city involved. I contacted the complex’s management company as well.
Given what they’ve done to me over the past month, I don’t expect them to quit for more than maybe a week.The neighbors are just that stubborn, not caring if they get fined. They even retaliate when they do find themselves in trouble.
What the neighbors are doing is breaking the community standards they agreed to in the contract. I’ve seen trash left by apartment doors, and people loiter outside, playing loud music during the evening. There have been verbal threats of violence made, both to people and animals. We used to have crime watch meetings every other month; not anymore. We used to have laundry facilities, but we don’t know when they’ll be repaired, if at all.
Other than these problems, the maintenance crew is good. There’s one maintenance staff that’s fast and efficient, for certain. That’s why I give the complex two stars.
