My fav place to have a drink with family qt the weekend. This place is very popular at Weeknd for dinner so better to arrive early. Bar is always busy but they usually get your drink within 5 a few mins. Draft beer with whiskey combo is pretty good deal is you are interested in local beer and small batch whiskey. The duck drummy and ribs are must buy appetitezers. Well flavored, tender and juicy. Iron suck pizza is another good choice to share. Waiters are very attentive. The environment can be pretty loud at weekend nights.

Greeted immediately and while I was only in for the pizza that I had heard so much about, I had both this incredible greeter from Monroe who absolutely made my day followed by Matt, the general manager, who was so outgoing and friendly. The layout was great with a private dining area and outdoor dining to the rear, the right amount of TV viewing tables, but also the right amount of privacy levels, a perfect spot to go for almost any type of occasion. Add to that ribs that I hear could be the best anywhere on the West Coast, I can definitely vouch for the pizza, + the depth and breadth of the menu was actually pretty awesome. Loved this place, love the people that work there, and absolutely cannot wait to go back

It's street parking and public parking. It's somewhat difficult to find parking as it's a pretty busy area. The restaurant itself is very quaint with a very nice atmosphere. The waiter we had was awesome and accommodated our party of five adults and two toddlers. Drinks and beer were tasty. Food was hit or miss. Burger and fries were good. Meatballs were tasty but were warm not hot. The soup was too spicy. House salad and dressing were tasty, however, the chicken was an additional $8 but the portion was miniscule. I understand that restaurants have to watch their bottom line, but you also want the people to leave feeling like they had a good customer experience. We came here last year and food was great and that's why we came back this year, but we left feeling a bit underwhelmed with the food. Everything else, the staff, atmosphere and drinks were great.

I’ve only been to Iron Duck a few times, but Miguel has been a phenomenal server every single time. He’s quick, attentive, and has great banter without ever feeling overbearing. If you’re looking for a place with both amazing food and genuinely great service, this is the spot. He gave perfect recommendations too! The chicken pesto pizza was delicious, and my friend who’s gluten-free was thrilled he knew the fried chicken sandwich is made with potato starch. Highly recommend!

Very cozy atmosphere, the food was good, not great, the beer selection very impressive. I did not get a chance to try the whiskey this time around, so can't speak to that sadly.

Overall, it is a great American food restaurant with nice service and atmosphere that is meat-focused. The pico shrimp is a favorite, and although not a fan of oysters, the fried oysters pickles and fries were well presented. The salmon was awesome, and its difficult to cook chicken well without drying, but they accomplished that as well. Loved the vegetarian pizza. What left me hanging was the chopp salad, however. The iceberg lettuce was not cut cleanly and seemed to have been sitting in the salad dressing with the other ingredients all day long as the leaves were nearly transparent. I should have returned it. Would definitely be better if they used romaine, and waited until the order was received to add the dressing and other ingredients. Loved the beer selection - broad and deep!

What a delightful and surprising find! Don't be fooled by the strip mall location...Iron Duck is the bomb! I had the Jambalaya and it was so good. Cocktails were interesting and well balanced as well. My friend got the cauliflower steak (we had seen it online but it's not on the menu). Everything was great. Service, food and our friendly dining neighbors. We will definitely return.

I'm came with a huge party and the food took awhile to serve. Things to get: - pork & peppers pizza: this might be the best pizza l've ever had (might be better than Antico!? Might need to verify granted I was famished) Regardless it has to be my top pizzas l've had - fried oysters: oyster is fresh and plumped, batter is good tho could be better but l'd still get it again Things to NOT get: - fried pickle: get this only if u like pickle chips cuz it's hella thin sliced - pretzel: get this if you like a burnt bread because that's what it was Anyways, will revisit to try more pizzas. I'd just get the pizzas tho.

Very down to earth, local flavor type of gastropub. Several house made items on the menu. Burgers are prime chuck and brisket. Chorizo is house made. Looking forward to the meal. The service was excellent. Kasey was our server and she was awesome! The restaurant tables are in a separate room and also adjacent to the bar. Very friendly environment with mostly local folks enjoying the food and drink. When in North Bend we will dine here again.

Had dinner here on our anniversary. Got the steak tartare and fried oysters starters. Both were delicious! Our entrees were a Bibb salad and roasted chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. We sat outdoors on the patio area, which much quieter than the indoor seating. Good for couples, families with kids, or groups of friends. Lovely downtown area in North Bend.

Amazing food, great family restaurant/gastro pub! This is an amazing small town restaurant with great food, great service and an ambiance to match. The steaks are wonderful, the burgers simply amazing and fries just done right. The duck 'drummies' aka confit for posh folk (). Enjoyed a great dinner with family in North bend. Absolutely delightful place on the Main Street. Well worth a visit, go hungry or you'll be taking most of your burger home with you . No! Seriously. How could you not rate this place a 5*?

Really cool little spot in downtown North Bend. Took my son after practice so we sat in the front but the bar looked like I need to go back solo. He had the pretzel and cheese pizza both to his liking. Tap list was great and so was the sandwich I got. Looking forward to that return trip.

Stopped here for dinner after a hike and it was the perfect meal to end the day. I sat at the bar but they had a large outdoor patio that allows dogs. I got the chorizo pizza (highly recommend) and happy they had NA beer. The bartender was friendly and attentive. No complaints from me!!

Have you ever had a burger change your life? Because when I tell you this burger opened my eyes to the possibilities of perfection, you best believe me. (Maybe I'm biased because I just finished a hike before eating lol) but I had the best burger of my life here. It was the Bacon Ale Burger, I had it with a lettuce wrap and avocado. My friend got the same but with bread. She had the artichoke appetizer and loved it. I was ready to give them 5 stars after the soup!! I cannot rave enough abut the food! The serving staff was so kind and efficient. The ambiance was nice! A great casual dining spot!

Lovely place, best pizza I have ever eaten. Had no idea what their Black Duck pizza would be like, but it was fantastic.

This was a quick stop after a long hike. It's nicely located in the small town of north bend next to mount Si. The BLT had huge thick slices of bacon. Kids' pepperoni pizza was big and tasty. The clam chowder, however, was disappointing. I don't recommend ordering it. Server was sweet and attentive. The restaurant is big with lots of tables and open areas. I bet it's great to come here for dinner. Wouldn't mind stopping in again when in the area.

My daughter and I walked in on a Saturday for a late lunch after the santa train ride and it was almost empty. We sat right away and ordered pretty quickly. I waffled between the steak sandwich and the pork sandwich and chose the latter. The shredded pork was crispy and tender at the same time, lightly flavored with a chipotle sauce, but not overwhelming. It almost reminded me of Kalua pork if you know what that is. It was pretty salty, but savory and delicious. I got it with side green salad with vinaigrette dressing - huge portion. Definitely recommend this sandwich. My daughter got the kids Mac and cheese which was okay. It was a white sauce that she enjoyed. Came with fries (good) and mandarin orange slices and a kids drink. Big meal and good deal for the price. Good food, gorgeous view of the mountain, spacious, cool holiday decor, what's not to like. Would recommend.

Fun, funky place with an amazing menu and killer drink menu as well. Burgers, pizza, steak, sandwich's, salads, and soup. Draft beer selection was on point and the draft root beer was excellent. New fashioned was tasty and one of the best I have had.

I highly recommend trying their Chorizo pizza, which features a tantalizing blend of ingredients that'll leave your taste buds dancing. We paired it with the Bibb Salad a fresh and delightful choice. The greens are crisp, and the candied pecans were delightful. I'm not a fan of blue cheese so I asked for a side of their red wine vinaigrette. I couldn't get over how delicious this dressing was. They make it in house, and I wanted to ask for a bottle of it to take home. We even dipped our pizza crust in the dressing. The Iron Duck boasts an impressive selection of local and regional brews. Of course, I got their Pilsner and my friend wanted to try something new. She got the Sig Lupidoptera Purple Hazy Double IPA. Wow, this was a strong one with 8.8%. It was different but refreshing and probably one and done. They also have a ton of cocktails if that is your jam. The attentive and knowledgeable staff enhance the overall experience. They're happy to recommend dishes, suggest beer pairings, and ensure you have a memorable time. Kudos to the team for their friendly service!

I had a great steak and a fine smoked Porter. Not too crowded- yet. It will be. Worth the stop on my way through to the East side. Good service with a home town feel. On my stop list from now on.

What a surprise After a long hike we went to the Iron Duck for lunch on the way back to Seattle. Service was fantastic, food was great. Duck pizza was surprisingly delicious. Clam chowder soup was the best. We will be back for sure.

I shared half of black bean burger. They did not burn my fries but it was not crispy. Black beans patty did not have a lot of flavors. I asked for fries sauce and did not get any. The margarita pizza was good. My friend let me have a slice. She asked for the crust to be little burn. Sweet potato tots were good but they are on the burn side. Service was good for big group.

Went here for dinner. We sat at the bar and had excellent service and food. The place also had a friendly vibe. We are going back again.

We ate here for dinner, and it was great. They have adult and kid meals. They offer beer, wine, and cocktails. They have seating at the bar and seating for couples and groups in the front room and back room. The back room has a fireplace. They offer dine-in and take-out. The portion size is average. I love a bowl of nice warm soup on a cold day. They offer different daily soups which is nice to get something different. So far, the squash curry soup has been my favorite. We will be back ;)

Excellent service and food! Have our Snowmobile Club Meetings here and Christina is an awesome waitress! The food is 1st class!

I live in North Bend and this is our go to place for a casual meal and beer. I love the bacon ale burger and always have a couple of beers from the extensive list to go with it. Excellent and attentive staff. Nice to sit outside in the back on warm dry days.

Great food. I had a French dip and it was really tasty. Have also tried the mojo pork sandwich. Fries are amazing!!!!! Comfortable atmosphere and good food. Would recommend.

Great family-friendly gastropub. The burgers are excellent - fat and juicy with plenty of toppings but not over-the-top. Solid pizzas. I'm obsessed with their french fries. Surprisingly amazing salads with fresh local and organic ingredients! There is a secret menu item - Snoqualmie root beer - really good! The waitstaff is awesome - super friendly, responsive and helpful. In the summer they open the patio out back. It has a really cute bistro feel with sun umbrellas, flowers, and string lights.

First time visit, their duck drummies are amazing! My sister ordered the Bacon ale burger and I ordered the Margherita pizza... Sadly the pizza was sitting while they prepared the burger and so the pizza was "lukewarm" at best, sister liked the burger, but said their fries weren't great. Family friendly environment, small menu, but next time we'll only get the pizza, aside from being "lukewarm" that would have been amazing fresh and hot!

This place is a gem in the small town of North Bend, the service is great and the food is even better. I had a burger, being a burger snob it's not easy to be impressed! They impressed me. I will definitely be coming back. S

We stopped here on the way back home from Quincy for a girls weekend. We were really looking forward to eating here, but when we came in, when we walked in the hostess was not friendly at all. The waitress was very rude and not friendly whatsoever. The food was good, but the service was very poor, I may or may not return this Resturant, which is unfortunate since I drive through this area on a regular basis with friends and family. Maybe she was having a bad day but it was very off putting!!

Fast service, cute patio and fun menu! The fries and garlic were so delicious. We went prior to the Light at the end of the tunnel marathon in June for some pre race fuel

We love this spot! Love the servers, ambiance and the food. Our favorite appetizer is the shrimp , favorite meal is the old fashioned burger and any of the salads. It's our go- to spot.

The food is good. The service is great. The bartenders appear to be mixologists/ chemists, philosophers, and psychologists all in one. The prices are the standard of what you expect for the current ( insert name of politician to blame here) economic climate. The ambience is that of a standard small bar complete with regulars

So, this was a first date weekend so in general it's a special place to me. Aside from that the service was wonderful, the food was great. It arrived in a short amount of time even though it was crazy busy. Their coffee is really good too!!! Highly recommend.

Duck. Duck. Go. If you're in or around North Bend, be sure to get yourself to the Iron Duck. A great PNW clubhouse vibe, and the food did not disappoint. We had a soft pretzel, Bibb salad and Black Duck pizza. And in that order the food got better and better. Pretzel was a nice starter, and with the mustard was even better. The Bibb salad was fantastic - oohhh those candied pecans! The duck pizza was the surprise winner. Duck, goat cheese and pistachios make a surprisingly tasty pizza and very unique pizza. Finally, staff was super friendly and just the right amount of attentive. Don't miss this real gem.

If you blink while driving by, you might miss the place. Although it's on the corner, all you'll see is a generic sign "Iron Duck." No indication of the delicious, savory-tasting yumminess inside. We sat at the bar and started with a couple of appetizers- the artichoke and shrimp with poblano sauce. Oh the mouth-explosion with each bite! Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our drinks, Bloody Mary's, we're one of the best we've ever had. The food was so good we ordered more. You must try the fish and chips. It's been so long since French fries tasted like a French fry - a potato fried perfectly. The batter for the fish was light and delicate, giving the taste of the fish it's ability to shine with flavor. We will be back. And I suggest that you also give this place a try.

Wonderful experience beginning to end. Have been many times and can happily report have always had excellent food and service. Great cocktails and a decent wine list can get it going, but make sure to save room for appetizers-- rhetorical artichokes are a must. Great steak, burgers, and sandwiches. Always friendly staff, a clean modern space that feels cozy and airy at the same time. A wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

Craving good food after checking put the outlet mall. I've dined in the vicinity over the years on Sunday drives and decided to check out this restaurant. Let me just say the experience and customer service from entrance to departure was exceptional. From the hostess with the beautiful freckles ( she needs a modeling agent, she should be on the cover of the next Vogue) to the service that our waitress Meagan provided. We started with the duck confit as an appetizer. Now I have traveledextensivelyand I have never ever had duck confit that was so succulent, flavorful and fall of the bone tender. Fine dining restaurants really need to take a note from this chef. Everything about this duck was perfection. If you're allergic to nuts I'm sure you can ask for it without pistachios..but you would kiss out on the full experience. Then I ordered the seared king salmon over this incredible orzo salad. I can't remember the dressing used but it was so lite and refreshing. Can we talk about the veggies in the salad? Grilled squash, Cucumber, red onions and fresh greens. I need this salad to be a standard on the menu because I intend to get it every month. There is a saying that when the food is so good ya wanna slap your mama..no disrespect bit I wanted to slap and hug the individuals that created these dishes and the individual that created them. This was fine dining at reasonable family friendly prices. I almost forgot to add, the burgers are not your run of the mill slap a patty on the grill. They form that patty like Zeus formed the Gods in Olympus. Toasted buns internally and externally. I also witnessed the lever of service and care they gave a couple with a toddler. It was amazing how they made the family feel welcome and accommodated their needs. The architecture and ambiance of the building was very pleasing in allowing us to enjoy our meal. I WILL be going here monthly for that duck and salad. The rest of the menu looks amazing and I'll try other items..but this salad?? My God!!!

I am a regular and I don't often post but tonight the service was bad, the food was cold, the ambiance was between loud screening ladies and a heated conversation with a couple. Most of which I can over look -- as an off night -- Burger was cold, French fries were greasy and not a crunch or Stiffness -- clam chooser was good Timing of service -- clam chooser came out with dinner -- might be my fault -- she might have mumbled do you want that at once --/ but I nodded because I could not hear anything -- both busser and server were in a twilight zone and literally I hope the excuse is they both have finale Tomorrow -- I review because the service and food has been amazing -- but crew you need to pull it together

The grilled artichoke, fried oysters and burgers and sage fries are to die for! A table by the fireplace is a great date night spot and the bar rail is so much fun for a girls night out! It's one of the few places that I go alone to bc there's always friendly bar mates and Megan, the bar Manager makes an awesome drink and serves it up with a smile that's contagious!

Delicious food and friendly servers! I'll be honest that I didn't walk in with too much expectation since I'm not a big fan of duck in American cuisine, but this place absolutely blew our mind. Everything we tried was stellar, creative, delicious and well-executed. The duck drummies were awesome and a must get - crispy skin, tender meat, covered in a sweet and savory pistachio glaze. Fried oyster was fresh although the portion is a bit small. The mojo pork sandwich was a delightful surprise! The pork was so tender and juicy. We picked the beef chili soup to go with it, but we felt this combo got a bit salty towards the end so next time we'll probably get a side salad instead. (BTW the pizza is huge, shareable for 3-4 people) Highly recommend this unique restaurant. After a meal here you will have all the energy you need to enjoy the waterfall and hikes!

In a strange night of everything closeting early and a town that doesn't understand ice melt on sidewalks. It was awesome to find a killer spot with great food, friendly staff and a nice ambiance...

Really good burgers and beer! I liked that they had a variety of local beers for us to try. The servers were nice and attentive, while giving us space to enjoy our meal. And the outdoor patio was perfect for having a summer dinner.

The times I have been to The Iron Duck, I've been overwhelmed by the quality & variety of menu items. Their pizza selections are great, and they are so delicious! I didn't think I'd like duck, but I loved the drummies appetizer. Fall of the bone tenderness, full of flavor, and easy to eat. I had a steak at the most recent visit, and it was honestly the best I've ever tasted! I highly recommend eating here!

This has become one of our favorite spots on the east side and the most looked forward to part of any hike or ski in the mountains east of north bend. It's a cozy spot with good food and good service. They meet the trifecta! It's not fancy - I fit right in whether I'm coming off the mountain or looking good in casual weekend wear - but always hits the spot. The black bean burger with side salad is one of my favs, my husband likes the burger with bacon and the kids often order their really good homemade pizzas or the homemade Mac n cheese.

Good food and decent beer rotation, but always left feeling it was too pricey for the food.

We stopped by here after hiking Mt Si and were told there was a 20 minute wait to sit in the patio, which turned into a 40 minute wait but we were in good spirits so didn't mind. We decided to order the ribs, salmon, duck pizza and the ale burger.. so had a lot of options to sample their cooking style and can honestly warn y'all to not eat here. the server seemed like she did not want to be there and was not friendly at all. the meat is not fresh. it all had a grayish color to it - and on top of that - they douse everything in some form of vinegar to drown out any flavor left over of the meat. the pizza came out burnt and asked if they could remake it. then it came out with 2 pieces of shredded duck on it, and had to be less than an ounce of meat. for something called duck pizza you would just expect it to have more than that.. by this point we just wanted the experience to end so we just asked for the check and left. i would not recommend this place. it's not only overpriced but the food is not fresh.

The Black Duck Pizza & Pork Pepper Pizza is a 10/10!!! Considering my husband and I do not eat duck, we loved i! Not what we expected, which is good. Thee best artisan pizza I've had! I also had the cider and light German beer, it was 10/10. The reason why I give this place a 4 is that our waitress was so irritated seeming and unwelcoming! The least I honestly expect from a waitress to say is "enjoy". Nope! Not the waitress that served us. Other than that, great ambiance and good food.

The Iron Duck is easily the best restaurant in North Bend. If you live in NB and have family visiting, this is where you need to take them for dinner. A wide variety of beer and alcoholic beverages. Pricing is fair for the quality of food and atmosphere. They have patio seating in the front and back of the restaurant. If you get a table by the window, you'll have a sweet view of Mt. Si with your meal on a clear day. The servers are kind and efficient. I only wish they had extended hours/days but I understand the difficulty of staffing restaurants in NB.

Nice local tavern with good grub and beer. I usually go for the burgers. Nothing culinary but great for everyday meals.

It's in the name so it's obviously something you should try, the duck is delicious, unique, and memorable. Very family friendly spot and convenient stop on the way to Snoqualmie.

Great food & drink, excellent service! We stopped in after a morning outdoors for lunch in the bar area. We had 'The Burger' and a Quinoa Salad. Would recommend both. Bartenders were very helpful and friendly!
