Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with good whiteware including a washing machine & dryer. The units are a little dated but they are clean and well serviced. The beds are comfortable and there is ample bedding and towels. Staff, in particular Bella, were very helpful and friendly. We are happy to recommend this accommodation and know we will be back. Thank you all, we loved our stay.

We stayed for 3 nights in a 3-bedroom villa and overall had a great time. The service was fantastic — the guest staff were kind, helpful, and always accommodating, which made our stay much more enjoyable. The villa was spacious and well-priced, and the location was ideal — close to shops, restaurants, and even the ferry, which was super convenient. That said, there are a few things that could definitely use some updating. The villa itself is quite outdated — from the furniture to the bed linen and blankets. The kitchen was a great size, but some of the appliances are in need of replacement. The washing machine lid was very rusted, which was quite concerning. The ensuite bathroom downstairs also had a persistent smell, likely from the pipes, which may need a proper deep clean. Also the shower heads need to be replaced or deep cleaned because of the built up soap scum that was quite visible. We also had some privacy concerns — there were only blinds (no curtains), and we had to keep them shut most of the time because our villa faced the outside pool and people could see straight in. The pool was advertised as heated, but with its large size, the warmth was barely noticeable. Despite these things, we still had a lovely time and appreciate the stay. With a few upgrades, this place could really be amazing.

Good for a family stay in Noosaville. Apartment was comfortable and had a decent electric stove. Had some ant problems with rubbish for a few days. No major issue but just we careful to throw rubbish out each day. Kids loved the lagoon pool and spent hours there most days. The location is great with lots dining options and near river for the ferry and water activities.

This is our 4th stay here at The Islander Resort, and needless to say we love coming back. The staff both in reception and around the grounds are lovely. Speaking of the grounds. The men are always working to keep the gardens and surrounds looking great. The unit we are in is down the very back of the resort and we love it, very quiet and hardly any street noise. Have been swimming every day, the pool is always immaculate.|Weather has been kind although TC Alfred is hovering off the coast further north and it is a bit windy.|We highly recommend The Islander to our family, friends and to everyone who is reading this review.

We have been going to The Islander for many years. It has been a lovely tradition with our family and friends. The owners have recently changed and because of many issues we will sadly not be returning. The facilities were clearly not as well cleaned and maintained on our last visit. Emails are not responded to for weeks. But the clincher was the exorbitant amount that they have now put the prices up by. The jump in price was unexpected, not communicated with us until we asked for it, and a real shock. Not a great way to treat your loyal customers! We have already found alternative accommodation for our annual holiday. Very disappointed!!

We have been going to the islander resort for around 16 years in September school holidays for 9 nights while Cathy and Rod run it and could not speak highly enough of how well the place was run. Well last year they sold it and we noticed straight away that the service had dropped and the whole resort as a whole didn’t look as clean..Then when we left we asked to rebook in for next year and got told that this fine but we cant give you a price yet. So we thought that was strange but may be it’s because they have just taken over. In January we normally pay the deposit and hadn’t heard any thing so we rung them and nobody answered so we left a message. A couple of days passed and still no phone call so we decided to email them and again no response. So we rung them again and finally got hold of someone who confirmed that we booked in and will send me email straight away with all the details. When I got the email and stated reading I was totally shocked as the price had gone up around $1000 to what we paid last year. So I rung them and to find out why the price had gone up do much and got told that the price hasn’t gone up for a couple of years so that is why it’s gone up. So cut a long story short we won’t be goo going back there for the price they want to charge. Also to insult yo injury we went on booking dot com and could get the price cheaper than what we got emailed. So much for loyalty

Excellent location, step outside the fence and you are on the waterfront or amid the restaurants and shops. Compfy beds, neat and clean rooms with everything needed in the kitchen, though the two upstairs bedrooms had to access the downstairs bathroom/toilets. Lush gardens, and although the main pool was drained for one day of our stay, the pools were great for young children under adult supervision. Suited our extended family very well. Friendly reception. Secure fencing requiring a key for vehicular or personal access. Adjacent coffee shop.

We chose to stay at The Islander Resort because we love it's location in Noosaville and the facilities of tennis courts and pools/spa were a draw. |We were in a 2 bed apartment near Cockleshell....the apartment is a little dated but it was spotless and facilities were good and all in working order. The cushion on the couch and the blankets in the bedrooms could do with a freshen up. One of the spas was emtpy but around the lagoon pool were two lovely hot spas and we used the tennis courts daily. |The one big annoyance was the dreadful wifi. It connected sporadically and dropped constantly, luckily we didn't need to work/use our laptops. It's ok near reception but a disaster elsewhere. We let reception know and the explanation given was that it was just generally bad in the area. Not great if you don't have data on phones/ipads. |The BBQ area at the pool was also good. |Check out is 10am...we were packing the last of our belongings in the car and at 10.15 go ta call from reception to ask if they could tell housekeeping to come and clean our apartment now which was a bit rude. We enjoyed our stay but think next time I'll consider other options.
