Incredible. Best meal I've ever had. Seamus (the chef) is a magician. The atmosphere was really cool and getting to chat with the man himself made it a real experience. Must do for anyone passing through Cork city.

Quirky decor, gives it a homely feel. Food was Ok, not to my taste. Raw fish and duck heart in soup....but it is innovative! The staff were very professional and helpful. I would recommend go here and try it.

Had an excellent experience. Seamus has great talent and the food was exceptional. The courses highlight what the local markets offer and really impressed. One review mentions the lack of atmosphere, but I think it was perfect. Go expecting a comfortable, cozy atmosphere with great food, wine and art.

Excellent, creative and well sourced food. The 6 courses tasting menu for €60 is good value. The chef Seamus is really passionate and you can feel it in the food and attention to detail. Deserves 1 or 2 Michelin stars. Each time we're in Cork, we try to make a visit to this staple restaurant of the city!

This restaurant is my favourite place to dine. Food that simply melts in the mouth. The sauces are really special. Every aspect of my three course meal was perfection. Beautiful view overlooking Oliver Plunkett Street. Very friendly staff. Looking forward to my next visit.

I've had some impressive meals here but last night was very disappointing. The food was boring and bland. We were seated 35 minutes after our booked time and eventually served a further 60 minutes later. Seamus wasn't in the kitchen - perhaps that was the reason. It's always been a bit disorganised but last night was unacceptable. Don't bother with this place. Go to Orso or Strasbourg Goose for fantastic food, better service and better value. On the plus side, the restaurant caters for coeliacs.

Most amazing restaurant in Cork. Food is simply amazing. 50 euro for 7 courses fusion menu is great. Expensive but worth every penny. A treat to savour calmly in good company and with a good bottle of wine.

The Best restaurant in Cork, the owner and cheff always care of every individual, the food is amazing as the cheff has broad experience working in many countries. It's a sacred and unique experience to taste all the delicious flavours , the ambiance and decoration is also a plus, elegant, loaded with vintage style that make the whole evening something unforgettable.

Yelp
Ivory Tower is the place to go in Cork for inventive fine dining. Chef Seamus O'Connell presides over the kitchen and dining room delivering and explaining the details the dishes from his tasting menu. The menu changes on a daily basis to highlight the fresh items he finds at the English Market. Chef Seamus cooks French cuisine with flavors influenced by Japanese, Mexican and Californian cuisine. As an example, a delicious venison course served with spicy Mexican-chocolate mole' sauce during my recent visit blew me away with the intense flavors. I'll include photos of the tasting menu and courses here for reference. Chef Seamus has been serving his creative fine dining for over 25 years. I'll be dining with him whenever I'm in Cork.

Yelp
This restaurant does a range of organic foods yet this is really reflected in the price - It ain't cheap. The venue is good for a big celebration or an engagement party though as it is quite large and would cater for that type of event. The atmosphere is relatively informal but I would avoid wearing jeans as I did - I managed to get some strange looks.

Yelp
Cork's poshest and fanciest of restaurants - and also probably one of the more expensive. The food is fantastic, so you get what you pay for. Good for a special occasion - and to dress up

Yelp
It is 2 years since I was in this restaurant and it is my yard stick against which all other restaurants are measured. The food was so exciting, the atmosphere so warm and relaxed, it was nourishment for the body and the soul. I see the owner in the English market frequently, he goes and selects his food from the market for the evening meal. It is expensive but it is worth it.
