The Ivy by Frangipani

I ordered a long island and it was the best one i had in sri lanka! The venue is really nice. The spot has live music and lovely people would recommend! Shehan was our waiter and he is a legend, quick with the drinks and always with a smile. We didnt stay here so i dont know about the rooms.

One star for the nice atmosphere, the rest was truly a bad dining experience. The food took forever, finally my husband‘s dinner arrived, my daughter and I had to wait an additional 20 minutes. The portions were tiny, my food was much too salty and my daughter‘s order came out the wrong way and we only eat it because we were starving by the time it finally arrived. The waiter could have not cared less. If you come only for a drink, go ahead. If you’re planning to dine I strongly recommend you spend your money elsewhere.

I didnt stay here but I had some amazing food. The fish platter was great and the service was great. The two guys who served us good and drinks, Kalindu , Indusara where very friendly and professional. Very attentive, and helpful and also friendly to pur little boy. The vibe of the place was also amazing. Love it. Make sure to ask for Indusara and Kalindu when you visit. Thank you

We had dinner and drinks here. The atmosphere was great with a good singer. We had tuna steak and pesto pasta and thought the value was really good. There was sometimes a wait for drinks and my pasta was very slow, however they did acknowledge this and kept coming over to promise that it was coming, so I was happy to wait! Both dishes were delicious!

The Ivy by Frangipani – Galle Fort is one of the cleanest and most beautiful places for dine-in inside Galle Fort. As a local customer, I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the well-maintained setting. The food is delicious, fresh, and well presented. You can clearly feel the quality and care in every dish. The cocktails are excellent – well balanced, refreshing, and perfect to relax and enjoy the evening. Friendly service, great location, and a very comfortable dining experience. Highly recommended for foreigners and locals who are looking for good food and drinks in Galle Fort.

Still sat here in the Ivy. Atmosphere is so good. Music, with live singers is a great bonus. Food! We had the sea food platter what a large platter it was😋 served by our waiter Indusrara, with excellent service. Last nights singer Minol was so entertaining and let us all join in with him singing to great tunes x

Atmosphere with Live Music We booked a weekend table specifically for the live music, and it exceeded all expectations. The talented acoustic performer created a wonderful, relaxed vibe that perfectly complemented the beautiful outdoor setting in the historic fort. The food (highly recommend the Black Pepper Crab!) and service were excellent on their own, but the music truly made the night special. A highlight of our trip.
