Wonderful hotel! We had a fantastic week here, absolutely nothing to fault. Rooms were basic (we booked a basic one) but comfortable and cleaned to a high standard. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Poolside etc is great, never had any trouble getting a lounger, 2 pools and the sea to choose from, drinks delivered to you, snack bar open all day. Buffet restaurant was really good, I found the variety decent each night, always something new to try, one of the better buffets I’ve been to. The Greek al a carte was incredible, went there for our last night - you order your main in advance and then the rest is a tasting menu with half a dozen courses, each was delicious. Good location, Ixia itself I didn’t think much of, but you’re so close to Rhodes town. Cheap bus can be booked from the hotel into the town, and the onsite car hire with galaxy with so convenient. Loved our stay, and would absolutely return in the future

Highly recommend stay, I brought my boyfriend here for a week for his birthday and had an amazing experience with both the staff and the room. The room we stayed in was a private suite with a swim up and the most beautiful beach view. Also recommend having breakfast and dessert in the amazing Alazonia amazing options, fresh and great service and people. Also suggest visiting the spa, I had the most relaxing treatment by Zoe, I probably fell asleep 3 times due to her amazing work. Thank you to everyone at the hotel making one to remember for both my boyfriend's birthday and our anniversary.

Nice hotel which is in need of some renovations. The staff are second to none all very pleasant and attentive. Food in buffet of a good standard and variety. Drinks are a bit hit and miss on the spirit and mixer front , beer is ok. The other bookable restaurants are all very good , our favourite was the Asian fusion

Arrival - we arrived late. Check in was quick and easy. Our cases were taken to our room. We had complimentary water (replenished everyday), lovely feta salad rolls and chocolate cake in the fridge.||The tourist tax is £15 per room each night. Not the hotels fault, however I get the 5 star rating due to the suites, it's unfortunate us lot in the basic rooms have to pay those prices despite not having the same amenities (whirlpool/swim up pool/exclusive restaurants without reservation of 1 visit if staying over 1 week). It is what it is & a Rhodes thing.||Room - 265|Sufficient storage space, my only criticism is there are no hangers in the wardrobe suitable for trousers.|AC was cold & seemed to have one set temperature despite turning it up from 20 degrees to 25 degrees|Super comfy bed|Powerful shower, shampoo/conditioner, shower gel and soap provided.||Pool/ beach area|No problems getting sun beds at any time of day on the grassed area or on the shingle beach. Free towels can be collected by the quiet pool after 10am. Towels have to be collected from reception before 10am|The pool isn't heated and is cold.|Pool bar available for drinks and snacks.|The snack bar isn't self-serve, however this is better for hygiene/speed of service.||Bars|Never had to queue for long. I don't understand the comments about the cocktails being watered down made by some travellers. They were strong enough for me. I recommend the Moscow Mule and Apple Martini.|Outdoor seating at the lobby bar. It did get a little chilly at night, would be nice to have some patio heaters.||Restaurant |Fantastic choices of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner.|The toast situation is always a nightmare like most hotels. I would suggest the hotel provide 2 toasters rather than 1.|Milonges restaurant - we ate here once. My advice go hungry as you're fed very well.||Staff- all very pleasant and friendly.||Cats - loads of them, they are looked after well.||Entertainment - During our stay this mainly took place indoors and a lot of the time it's standing room only if you arrive late. There is room for more tables/chairs and that would be my suggestion for the hotel.|We enjoyed listening to DJ Saxophone, Encore and Stardust.||Location - quiet, enough shops, a few bars and restaurants.||If you're looking for a relaxing holiday, I'd recommend this hotel. We would come back in the future.

Overall, I’d say a 7 out of 10. Firstly, my usual gripe on 5-star ratings. There is no official yardstick so can only compare with others rated as 5-star. This just isn't - maybe a 4 at best?. Room construction / layout / materials quality not 5-star. Pools / reception area close though, very nice. All inclusive : Food not great and repetitive, drinks quality below average and the usual watered-down variants. Restaurant felt like a school dinner hall after the first couple of nights and having to wait for an outside table quickly became boring. Nightly entertainment variable (and on weekly repeat loop…) Managed to get a sunbed at anytime (unusual and a plus) but pools were cold (sea was warmer). Beach small but nice view, rocky though so couldn’t just walk into sea bare-footed. Staff generally OK – reception / reception bar and cleaners all good, others a bit perfunctory. Our 2nd try at all-inclusive and probably our last, the lack of choice, quality of food / drink; lack of individuality and feeling of being tied into the facility not really worth the perceived value for money. We did meet / hear several groups who were on their multiple return to this hotel so for some it clearly hits the mark.

NOT 5 STAR! This hotel is pleasant, but not 5 star. The food and drinks really let this place down. The food is plentiful but of mid to low quality and the same can be said of the drinks (there is no cider and the cocktails are awful, the beer is nice enough though). We had a delux room, which was very spacious and nicely furnished. The outside area has plenty of seats/sunbeds and these are good quality & comfy. The pool is absolutely freezing though and needs just some gentle heating to take the chill off it! (I don't mind a cool swimming pool, but the pools here in early October are so cold that no one wants to use them!)

Google
Advertised as 5* but in reality it is 3 star hotel. Rooms are tired looking many towels etc provided are well worn. Food is edible and could be quite nice but lacked flavour and variety most nights offering the same style/type dishes. Only one type of beer on offer which was vile. 1/2 cups of coffee only. Spa i found to be nice atmosphere but exspensive.

Google
An amazing 5 star hotel with room for improvement. We have been 14 days in this hotel, and we absolutely loved the staff, the room, the beach and swimming pools. But the food and drinks were really really bad, it’s like they buy the cheapest possible stuff, even the beer was horrible! If you forget to put the red light in your room the cleaners will knock and open the door straight away at 8:30 am without giving you any second to answer! It is not a cheap hotel and we were expecting a bit more of quality in the food as this is wasn’t Greek standards at all. But the staff was superb, waiters, receptionists, room service all fantastic.
