The Jacket Bar & Micro Brewery

I came in to pass about 45 minutes after an intense work day. Laura, the manager, was very friendly and gave me the run down of their house brews. I'm a huge Guiness fan and have tried many stouts over the past 20 years--the house Emerald Irish Stout is divine. It's creamy, smooth and goes down the throat easy (Thats what she said). If you're a Guiness fan, you will surely appreciate this. I've only had one other beer of this caliber in the stout category and it's an Oatmeal Stout by one of the original microbreweries in Manhattan over 20 years ago. Stop into The Jacket in Mineola. Hidden gem.

I had such a great experience at this bar, and a huge part of that was thanks to Laura, the bartender. From the moment we sat down, she was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive. She makes incredible drinks and really knows her craft every recommendation was spot on.

Karaoke on a Sunday evening, great food, and live music — what more could you ask for? Bartender Millie is super friendly and personable, making the experience even better. The menu features classic bar fare — I really enjoyed the chicken quesadilla and chips with guac. And the best part? Their beer selection includes house-brewed options that are absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

Stopped by with my sisters tonight and LOVED the christmas cocktails. The bartender was so kind and attentive. Each night of the week has a different event or theme (karaoke, trivia, live music, etc.). We will try the food next time we go!

Kim was incredible, so attentive and kind! She makes killer drinks! I 100% recommend coming here if you love great drinks and food. Their avocado toast is to die for!

Stopped by to have a quick pumpkin beer and came across this local spot. Hidden but quite the gem! Laura was the bartender, she was so nice, extremely helpful and told us all about their beers!
