The Jays Guest House Aberdeen

The Jays Guest House in Aberdeen is in a handy location with a grocery store and a number of very good restaurants within walking distance. And it was very quiet at night. We arrived late but were still able to use one of their parking spots behind the house (there is also free street parking if their parking spots are full). The breakfast was excellent and served by one of the owners. We would definitely recommend that you stay here while in Aberdeen!

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Jays Guest House! The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Spacious bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. I loved the vibe of it and felt very welcome! It was a bit far from the Aberdeen station (walking) but has a few bus stops nearby. Would definitely stay again if we make it back to Aberdeen!

A perfect stay for us spending a couple of nights in Aberdeen with our dog. Great location from city centre and beach. Hosts couldn’t do enough for you from arrival through stay to leaving. Comfortable, clean and self service kitchen works well. Lovely seating area also to chill. Thoroughly recommend at very reasonable cost.

Jays is a real gem. We had a lovely 2 night stay whilst visiting family. Great location, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable- perfect after a long journey or a busy day. Check in and very well equipped kitchen make for easy hassle free days. Everything laid out for a tasty, cold breakfast with plenty of choices and the option to self cater during the day. The lounge was very pleasant to sit in and relax. Would most definitely stay here again when we visit Aberdeen. Thank you 😀

Super friendly and helpful owners, couldn't have been more accommodating. Comfortable rooms, kitchen available if you want to prepare your own meal, everything very clean and well organised. Bonus points for dog friendly

My wife and I were on holiday in Aberdeen,Scotland in Aug/Sept 2024 and were booked into Jay’s Guest House for the period of 22 days. Firstly may I say what a beutiful, clean and well located house this was.From the time we booked we were kept informed as to the facilities,the layout and the lovely breakfast provided every morning. The two owners Gaurav and his wife Anna are the loveliest people you would ever want to meet.They were most accomodating and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend this accomodation for all its wonderful attributes not to mention the very reasonable cost.

Very comfortable and very clean. Guarav, the host, made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Continental breakfast was excellent and more than sufficient. Our host assisted us with our luggage, carrying it in and out of the house. Would not hesitate to recommend it.

I stayed at The Jays Guest House for 2 nights with my dog on route to Inverness.. Booking was easy, price was friendly. Location ideal for near the town but not in it.. & 10mins walk from the beach! Instructions to get there & keys to your room were simple & really well delivered. The owners have done this all really well in my opinion & are both very welcoming & helpful. My room was tidy, clean, comfortable, had everything we needed.. The kitchen was communal, spotless & had everything you need for self catering. The breakfast provided was fresh & lots of choice. Nothing seemed too much bother for this couple & the whole feel of the place is friendly & peaceful. In future I’ll not mess about looking for hotels to stay in Aberdeen & will phone direct to Jays guest house for the best stay I’ve had on my travels so far! Highly recommend!!!
