The Jays Guest House Aberdeen

We had the best stay here just now. The location is perfect, bus right outside, walking distance to the University of Aberdeen and not too far to the city centre. The room was super cozy, big bathroom and window towards the backside, the living room is very comfy to relax in. The hosts are just lovely and very accommodating. I'd definitely stay here again.

I very much enjoyed my stay here! I was in room 7, which is the single room. It was very clean and quiet, and it had shades that kept the late summer sun nicely outside. Having access to the kitchen was also a huge benefit. The hosts are kind and responsive. Would certainly recommend!!

Truly enjoyed the stay at jays. The owners have provided outstanding hospitality, good communication and flexibility. The location is so convenient and rooms are private and spotless , we can see each detail provided in the house are considered for the guest’s comfort and very practical - kitchen facility, fridge , later checkout arrangement, lots TV channel for kid. We will definitely return.

Stayed at Jays Guest House which was near to the city centre, 10-15 min walk. Anna and her husband were welcoming and friendly hosts and very attentive. The communication was great. There was free parking which took away the stress of parking in the street. The complimentary breakfast was a love touch.

The hosts were very kind and very reactive, the rooms beautifully furnished, spacious and quiet, the breakfast very good and kindly served. It’s possible to use the kitchen which is very convenient. Wonderful stay altogether, I recommend this place.

Obviously someone has gone to a lot of trouble to make this B+B attractive and welcoming. Situated on a corner plot on a busy road, well signposted, as is the off street parking. Very good video describing access procedure and breakfasting facilities. A nice homely feel to the property. Our room had everything one would expect. Including information about local facilities and places of interest. Snug en-suite shower for the single user only! My only issue was with the running time of the extractor fan, which went on for ages. I was also aware of the motion activated light in the hallway, going on and off throughout the night. These are minor niggles, totally cancelled out by the friendly welcome and excellent hosting skills. Plus ,we were expecting a self serve continental breakfast but were offered and enjoyed a very nice cooked option. Would happily stay here again.

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Jays Guest House! The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Spacious bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. I loved the vibe of it and felt very welcome! It was a bit far from the Aberdeen station (walking) but has a few bus stops nearby. Would definitely stay again if we make it back to Aberdeen!
