The hostel is located on the main street but there's not too much noise going up to the rooms. I stayed in an all-female dorm, and it was pretty average as far as hostels go. The common area was worn down, and it wasn't a very good place to meet people. There weren't any events to meet other travelers either. The room itself wasn't great, as there was no ventilation for the bathroom so it smelled pretty bad, and the smell would go into the room. The beds were fine, and there was an outlet and a small wooden shelf for personal belongings next to each bed. No spots to hang towels though, and there were lockers and shelves in the room. I like that the hostel is keyless, which means although I have to remember the (quite simple) door codes, I don't have to worry about losing a key. Breakfast was simple too as there was bread served with egg, cucumber, tomatoes, hummus, jam, and so on - a typical Israeli breakfast. Service was quite friendly, and it's the cheapest hostel in Jerusalem.
