Came back after a pleasant experience in the past. Absolutely delicious fish- we had the Spanish Mackerel, the squid rings were amazing! Didn’t even need the tartare sauce as the squid rings were perfectly flavourful on their own! Chips were nice, crispy and hot! Tartare sauce was delicious as it is home made.

Before going here, we read the reviews which weren’t great and decided to try it anyway. I don’t know what the bad reviews were taking about. This place was great! The fish batter was crisp and not too oily or soggy- perfect texture. The fish was thick and juicy. The service was friendly and there were lots of sauces to choose from. There was a long line (school holidays) and we didn’t have to wait long- the team executed the orders with precision. We spent $78 and it was enough for our family of four. Honestly, this is probably the best fish and chips we’ve had since moving to Australia two years ago. Highly recommend and would eat here again.

Absolute hidden gem for oysters. I have been coming here for decades because they have amazing NZ oysters and they do not disappoint! I havn't found somewhere with better oysters. Best value, so tasty and they are huge! This place has great service, quick, easy and super friendly.

We try always support local unfortunately sometimes it costs us an arm and a leg for something no one will eat that all ends up in the bin. Staff were lovely but 3 pieces of fish, 1 lot of chips, 6 chicken nuggets and 4 drinks cost $100 which I thought was steep. Fish was very overcooked to the point it was dry and stringy and chips were like cardboard. Was a huge miss for us.

After looking at the reviews I had low expectations but was very pleasantly surprised - we both had a beef burger (which came with cheese, tomato, lettuce, Beetroot, cooked onion and your choice of sauce). Delicious 😋 also had a min serve of chips. Super friendly service, and 15 min to get food - 5 stars all round from us!

Chips stale & cold manager / owner insisted they were fresh but they were far from fresh . Tasted like they had been sat there for an hour , the owner was rude & didn't want to listen to what we had to say she came across very arrogant. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY at this place absolutely disgusting food & service

Portion sizes terrible. Like, shockingly bad. Only realised when we got home that $90 worth of food here doesn’t go far so had to head back to spend another $55 for more. $150 spent in total (DO NOT GET THE $30 PRAWNS!! You’ve been warned!) The fish did not taste bad but two portions of the same fish were completely different. Staff friendly but very young and inexperienced at frying. My advice would be to steer clear and save your hard earned $ Looking at other reviews it seems to be really hit and miss. Unfortunately can’t recommend the sauces either - thumbs down for the tartar and aioli. Instead… I can recommend the Wild Ocean Indonesian Cuisine instead which is just down the road. There, we spent $50 and got 3 amazing curries which were truly delicious.

The Fish and Chips (Karlbarri Cobia) I bought for takeaway today is extremely tasty.
