I came here after visiting the Jim Thompson House. Sadly, this place was a bit of an anti-climax. One the day of the visit there one art exhibition on show, mostly about the art of the non-aligned nations of the cold war. That was house in one room. There was a theatre showing films of anti-western factions ranting about the west. Don't get me wrong, the place is lovely. There's a library full of books on Thailand and design. Cafes, shops and meeting areas that seem ideal for collaboration. I get the feeling that this place isn't really for casual visitors. Maybe for art students looking for inspiration and to work.

Always love coming back here. For the art, for the food and for educational programs and fun events! Also the rooftop Isan larb seab bbq is a good spot for evening drinks 🧡👌🏽

I went art center on Thursday morning and it was less crowded. No entry fees, free wifi, power socket and great air con. Really quiet and most of thai students are coming for studying including me. Seats are variable style. If u have a visit to jim Thompson house, have a turn to art center as well. Library is at 3rd floor and u can buy coffee at 2nd floor. As I see on the door, these is announcement for closing date is Monday, Tuesday and public holidays starting from Oct 01 2024. I really like it to be there. Good for work n study.

super stylish place with permanent exhibitions, library and excellent Thai food cafe. We were lucky to get fresh Chiang Rai biennale catalog as a gift from staff and buy some super cool merch for affordable price. Highly recommend for art lovers.

I visited this right after the JT House Museum Tour. Free if you already bought ticket to the Museum nearby. Good place for art enthusiasts. The exhibition is kinda creepy tho lol (in a good way)

Free entry to exhibition, if you have a ticket for Jim Thompson's House. Else admission is 100 baht. Small exhibition but nice, about War, peace, Kurdistan and Middle East. There's also a café and toilets. No people and relaxing.
