The Johnsons Hotel Cafe & Bar

We went to this cafe based on google reviews. But we were highly disappointed. We ordered a pizza and 2 craft beers. The pizza was horrible. And tasted very bad. The crafted beer was not at all fresh. I would not recommend anyone to go here.

The place is nice and the food is really good. Had pizza but it's any other cafe type pizza. Nothing worth remembering. Ordered cottage cheese main dish and it was super yum and innovative. Also had lamb in bbq sauce it was super yummy and tender. The only problem is that they took 1 full hour in lunchtime to get these 3 things which weren't very helpful when you're a tourist who is short on time. The place is clean, quite and peaceful; and there is parking available too.

I ate dinner on two occasions at the place. It was a wonderful experience. The food was fresh and extremely tasty. The chef recommended food was very good. I will highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place good for family and has a relaxing and warm environment.

Good overall. Service was excellent. The rooms we stayed in was upstairs. Have to climb quite a lot of stairs. Water supply was lost twice for a few hours and electricity was lost for a few minutes. Overall very good stay. Heater available.

Heard the location name from lot of travel bloggers and I'm glad I chose to visit this gem. I got the opportunity to try Kati Patang beer here for the first time which is apparently made in Himachal. It was amazing. The food here was damn good. Try the Wood Fire pizza with any of your favourite beer. The price for hookah here is quite expensive. Like 2000 bucks which might not be suitable for some. Overall, had a great time.

The hotel has a wonderful location. Rooms are spacious. The outside sitting area is very nice and green. The food quality is also good. Staff is courteous and polite. Mall Road is at a walking distance.

Johnson cafe= categorically RUDEST STAFF who can take out sticks to beat you up for verbal altercation and OWNER as well as MANAGER have NO SPINE to say white is white and black is black. Unfortunately valley people have lost the charm of being hospitable to localities, can’t think how do they treat outsiders Note- Alteraction was about parking of the car which the restaurant asked us to do and we are totally unaware that brother and sister have different set up with Johnson cafe and Johnson lodge. The staff behaved inappropriately with my sister in law. Guys, if local women can’t be respected then your family isn’t secure there.

A pathetic staff who have no etiquette’s to attend their customers. If their parking is vacant and we have parked for an hour what is the issue. They mistreated women and along with that took out the sticks and turned a verbal conflict to a physical fight. This is highly ridiculous that being a localite we have to face such circumstances. This property shall not be visited.
