New to the practice and saw Dr Mazzara for my consultation and adjustment. Everything was explained clearly and in a very professional manner. I have stenosis in my neck and felt relief after one session so I have signed up for a package. An added bonus was that I had the best nights sleep that night in terms of quality in longer than I can remember. I recommend highly!

I came here after seeing their offer for a 29$ initial visit. I was very pleased. The office is professional and offers affordable plans. Very informed and friendly. Dr. Mazzara was great, as well as the office manager Zarin.

I always recommend this place to friends and family, it is my first visit as a patient they always do a great job at assessing the condition and explaining the cause of it. Dr.Joesph is an amazing chiropractic. Front desk very friendly and helpful. This is where the magic happens, highly recommended.

Excellent Service! The Joint Chiropractic concept is amazing! Normally at traditional Chiropractors you have to book appointments ahead of time, and when you are there you often have to wait awhile to be seen. At the Joint you receive great service, little to no wait, and no appointments needed.

I had a much needed adjustment today with Dr Stephen Black. It was one of the best I've had ... and I've been going to chiropractors for 35+ years! Hit all my tough spots no problem! Where have you The Joint Chiropractic been hiding Dr Black! He is part of the team pinch hitting for Dr Megan while she is on maternity leave. He should be a regular care provider!

The business was okay and did help when I first began going. Now I no longer use the service because the cost to benefit ratio is not worth it. I called to cancel but was told the I needed to go in person or send it through mail. The absolute most inconvenient thing to ever do. They need to find a better solution to canceling memberships.

I don't recommend The Joint for anyone. took out the money from my account because I couldn't go to there to sign the paper for cancellation. I talked to them 2 or 3 days before that I want to cancel my membership, she told me to sign something but didn't mention it if i don't sign I will get charged. The manager called but she didn't help just to tell me that she can't refund me. Poor business management. Going there didn't help me either so it was waste of my money.

This location is great and the staff is very nice. Dr. Banks is the best! He handles anything you need adjusted and takes his time to make sure everything is in alignment. The Joint company is great. They have many locations across the US, and no appointment needed. The great thing about them is there is no extra stuff, like stem, heat and a lot of time consuming and not really helpful things. I have been going to chiropractors for at least 15 years and always dreaded it bc it would be an hour long process and always felt better just the adjustment. The joint is a quick in and out without the fluff and their price point is pretty good!

I stopped by on 8/7/19 around noon so I could signup for the monthly package and have an adjustment done as I have severe back pain from years of training at the gym, kickboxing and jiu-jitsu. Unfortunately, the Chiropractor is extremely unprofessional and spoke to me in condescending tone. When I went to the back area to begin my adjustment, he looked over at me, from his computer monitor, and said, "you seem very agitated"! I've never had a medical professional talk to me in such a condescending manner (and I've been to a lot of specialists in the area). I immediately got up and left before the session began -- his overall demeanor was very unprofessional. I'm a small business owner myself and I would never speak to a prospective customer in a condescending manner because I have basic logic. I do not recommend this Chiro.

Life-changing! I was in Northern Virginia visiting friends and I needed an adjustment. I googled around and found the joint. I don't think I'll be able to go back to my regular chiropractor. Pros: I love everything about this place so I'll just highlight the most important parts. 1. The Doctor here gives a great adjustment. He really knows what he is doing. 2. It's so easy. I am on a trip and did not have time to make an appointment. They told me they don't accept appointments and i can just walk in whenever it works best for me. Perfect. 3. The prices are unbelievable. They told me there are joints near me in Florida and their membership works everywhere. I signed up for the membership so I can get adjusted for $20 going forward Cons: I have to end my relationship with my current chiropractor. You will notice a complete lack of professionalism from the moment you walk in until the moment you walk out. If you do make the mistake of signing up here, then hopefully you do not ever need to call them for information, because the information you receive will be inaccurate if you can get any at all. Finally, what kind of legitimate business requires you to show up in person in order to cancel your membership? Were only a zero or subzero rating possible!

I came to this office via a Groupon. I was not sure if they could help. Let me say, They did!!! I had a stiff upper back and neck problems that made me miserable. After coming 2-3 times a week for the first month I was relieved to find chiropractic adjustments work! I now come once a week to stay aligned. The staff is friendly and the chiropractors I have seen have been friendly and definitely know their stuff. I highly recommend

I was refer here by a friend at my gym. I injured myself playing flag football and instantly there was a shape pain on the left side of my hip. The pain was unbearable that I left work the next day to go check this place out since it didn't require any appointments like I would need to make with my chiropractor here in Leesburg. Dr. Velez asked me a few questions and when I explained everything to him, he knew right away what caused the pain. After the adjustment, I could walk without that pain I was experiencing before I walked in. For it being my first time, I can say it was a pleasant experience and I look forward to my upcoming adjustment to fix this problem I've been having for the last couple of years. I would highly recommend you try it out to see for yourself. You are getting great care for very reasonable cost.

I went to the Joint in Sterling, VA and my first appointment with Dr. Nagel was superb. He took his time explaining what my issues were. He informed me that I needed more adjustments; hence, I purchased the $79 package, which included six (6) more visits. At the front desk, I informed the young lady that I was only purchasing this single package and should not get billed for subsequent treatments that I did not need. I used only one out of the six sessions. A few weeks later, I get billed for $79. I called and I was told that I would get refunded. It has been a few weeks and the Manager here has not been able to get a hold of to resolve the issue. Horrible business and billing practices. I would recommend not using this chiropractor service provider. STAY FAR AWAY since they are unfit to handle simple matters.

I didn't like the staff our the chiropractor here because the women at the desk have attitude and the chiropractor seemed like he really likes to touch. I went to cancel and they tried to tell me I have to pay another month. What a crock of shit. You can have another $90 of my money when you pry it from my cold, dead, hand.

I've been to 10+ different joint locations and never had an issue until this one. The chiropractors obviously don't care about anything except getting you in and out as quickly as possible. I talked about my issue and didn't even get acknowledged, just told to get in the usual positions.

Dr. Banks at the Sterling/Dulles location is great. He does a thorough adjustment and is very personable. This location is now open seven days a week, and it's so convenient to just walk in.

Dr Banks is a rude guy who only cares about selling you their membership plan! If I owned The Joint Chiropractor, I would not have him as my Director/Primary Doctor.

I have been seeing my Chiropractor every week since 2009. I have seen others while my doctor was on vacation or I have been out of town, etc and I have never seen anyone who can adjust even close to the doctor I see regularly. That was until I was out of town for two months and I went to see Dr. Banks at The Joint At Dulles 28 center. If you see a chiropractor on a regular basis and need a new doctor or are out of town you will see what I mean. Open appointments and he is quick to see his patients. I live in NJ but if I'm back in the area for work there is no doubt I will see him again.

I never knew how rejuvenating regular chiropractic care could be until I joined The Joint. The doctor got me out of distress and now I'm moving around with ease. Thanks!!

This practice literally saved my life. A couple years ago I came in for back pain I am a driver full timeI'm constantly on the road every day in addition to being overweight. I came in for consultation to deal with severe back pain that I have been suffering for years. After a few sessions Doc took care of me Add put me on a treatment plan that help me heal my back pain properly. I've been on the wellness plan for over a year now. Since my back was feeling better I begin to workout in lose weight. I believe that this was never possible Without the help of the Joint Chiropractic. I am now lighter and pain free. Thanks once again to the staff At The Joint Chiropractic.

The Joint did help me with some back pains I had about a year ago. The receptionist Ashley was very kind and explained very clearly what I need to fill out as a new patient and some other questions since it was my first time at a chiropractor. The chiropractor, was very patient as well when I asked him questions. And suggested I come back a few times since so I can fully feel better. If you live around the Loudoun county area I recommend going to them!

I come to see Frankie at the Joint in sterling once a week. I have been to traditional chiropractor offices along with other Joint clinics. I love the concept of this clinic and even with no insurance it is more affordable than traditional with insurance. I have seen a few different doctors at these clinics and I really enjoy the doctors at the sterling clinic. I'm is my weekly "coffee" to say the least and gets me going for work each week!

I started going to the Joint while I was training for a marathon last year. My friend recommended it because she loves their concept. I loved it too because my co-pay for a regular Chiropractor office is $50. I saw Dr. Velez for months and he was amazing, I liked him because he was sports focused which is what I needed. One day I went in, and he was out due to Hernia. It was never communicated to me how long he could possibly be out for. Eventually they brought in another doctor who was pretty good but he was only there on Mondays. I had seen a couple of other doctors there on the weekends and avoided them because both times I had less than average experience with them. I kept asking the front desk when Dr. Velez would return and eventually found out he had left the practice. So I canceled my membership. If this was my last visit at the Joint I would have rated this place a 5/5 because it was great while it lasted. I went in for an adjustment in November or December and Dr. Banks was working. I was in a lot of pain due lower back/sciatica issues for weeks and just wanted a quick adjustment/fix. He was unable to crack anything, not even once and claimed I was "tense". Which is not true because every other Chiro is able to do so (few days later I went to Beyond Wellness and had no issues being cracked). Once he was done "trying", I said I don't feel better and he said I am glad you feel better and I reiterated I DON'T feel better. So at that point he offered to ice me, and I had to get back to work and I could ice my back at work or home. I left saying "I wish I felt better" and his response- "Me too" The front desk staff is amazing and super nice, she offered me a free session for Saturday when a different chiro works but i decided to pass on it and be done with the Joint for good. One star for Dr. Velez, the other star for the front desk staff.

I am so glad I decided to go to see Dr. Banks. My lower back pain was so intense it was lowering the quality of my life. I couldn't believe the relief I felt after just the first visit. Instead of moving my body in constant fear of stabbing pain, Dr. Banks has me moving with confidence. I'm back to running and playing with my kids. I can't believe the value of a membership and can't wait to get my husband to go. Thank you, Dr. Banks!

I saw Dr. Douglas Nagel a little over a month now. The first appointment went great and he seemed really knowledgeable and I was excited somebody could help me with my stiff neck, as I strongly believe in chiropractic care. The second appointment, after adjusting my neck, I blacked out and fell to the ground and was unable to stand up. At the time I was too disoriented to notice, but someone who is a licensed caregiver didn't even ask if I was ok, he only said "are you dizzy?" and told me to stay on the floor until I'm able to stand as he walked off. Walking out of the clinic, I noticed my vision was not returning fully and I had to call somebody to come pick me up. This vision loss was followed by excruciating pain that lasted 4 hours. My boyfriend attempted to call to ask him what happened and what we should do, but nobody answered. I called the day after and left another message, a kind front desk lady returned my call later and was very concerned and gave my case to the main owner, Dr. Mcdahdi (sp?). He ended up calling me back when I was having another episode of vision loss and extreme pain. He also did not even ask if I was ok and just asked me "what do you want me to do?" I asked to for a refund and to cancel my prescription. He charged me full price for the two visits I used and only returned $40 of the $180 I paid for my visits. He gave no thought or concern over what happened. I ended up having to be sent to the ER days later after having 4 total extremely painful attacks and vision loss. I don't have insurance, which is why I was excited to the Joint in the first place, so the ER visit totaled $4200. They weren't sure what happened, so they sent me to a spinal specialist, who told me that a licensed chiropractor caused me to have a severe whiplash injury, so bad it even caused episodes of vision loss. I would recommend to anybody to go to a proper chiropractor, even if it means spending more money, to avoid having a similar situation by people who clearly do not care about the patients they are seeing. I not only now have an extremely crippling financial situation, but I have to pay for a physical therapist to correct the damage that shouldn't have occurred in the first place. If you care about yourself and your well-being, do not go here. Please also be aware that Dr. Nagel also has a case with the Board of Medicine documented where he practiced chiropractic services in Pennsylvania before without a license.

Dr. Brent is amazing. I have had burning body pains for over 20 years and never knew why. I injured my back picking my son up and ended up going to the joint even after reading their reviews. I have not felt better in 20 years. I was so off on my body alignment that it caused stress on certain muscles and I was injury prone due to that. I went for 5 days straight 1st week , 3 times the next week, 2 times the week after and now I'm on 1 time a week. I can run around, bend over, and sleep so much better and I can't thank Dr.brent enough. Also those 1 star reviews are by some entitled people that want someone too kiss their butts. Dr. Brent is there to do his job and it's such a fast process that you can't have a off subject conversation or get babied. Go in there, get aligned, and come back when he tells you too. $80 a month for 4 visits and after that it is $10(should be more in my opinion ). EVERYONE should go get aligned

Update 9/13/17: The same day I submitted this review, I sent an email through their website and asked them to call me and discuss what happened. The operations manager of the Sterling location called and said how committed they are to their clients/patients and that they would absolutely make it right with me after talking with the owners. Then crickets. I've left her two messages. Complete blowoff. Really unprofessional and disappointing. I'm a long-term client of The Joint and have visited several of their locations, as I travel frequently. I was seen by Dr Frank Velez on July 8th (a Saturday, so I'm not sure if he is the regular doctor at this location) and had a horrific experience. He stretched my back and neck. I was shocked to learn we were at the end of the visit and asked him to do an actual adjustment. He said no one should be adjusting me. [I've been under chiropractic care for 25 years and I've never had a chiropractor unable to make an adjustment.] He said "I know what's best for your body; you don't". [Really?? How insulting. I was born with a back issue and I'm 46 years old. I know quite well what my body needs and am actually extremely conservative about getting adjustments.] I said if he doesn't adjust me, I could become immobile during my trip. He condescending said "you will not become immobile. You think you're a chiropractor now." I said I've had the problem all my life and I know exactly what I need and when. He said he actually thinks it's ridiculous that The Joint allows clients to be seen by multiple chiropractors. [Seriously? Do you understand that's part of the business model of your employer?] He started looking through notes on my chart and made derogatory comments about the notes left by the doctor at a different location. He said if I wanted to be adjusted, I could drive to Alexandria to another one of their locations. I said "Then I assume you're not charging me for this visit?" He said "of course, we're charging you. I did exactly what you needed today." I was in Virginia for event and did not have what could have been two hours to travel back and forth to Alexandria, given how busy many of The Joint's locations are on weekends. As I feared, I was unable to move once I arrived shortly thereafter in upstate NY, where they don't have any Joint locations. It cost me hundreds of dollars to get a series of adjustments and massages I shouldn't have needed just to get through my trip. I was unnecessarily in terrible pain for several days. He caused me undue harm. This man should not be working for you. I can personally vouch for wonderful, capable practitioners in several of your other locations.

We started with The Joint in Houston, TX. We are very happy to have found one so close since moving back to Virginia. The regular treatments make such a difference in the overall well-being of my wife and I.
