Bring a water bottle and maybe some snacks. There's no cafe and no vending machines. There was one water machine in the courtyard near the guards but no cups! Had to go to ask three different people and go to the information desk to get cups. There's plenty of room for a cafe inside the conference area but I guess they figure visitors don't need to eat or drink. Otherwise it was an enjoyable and informative visit. No photography is allowed of the dead sea scrolls but elsewhere you can take photos. They're open till 6 on Sunday.

A must-visit destination for anyone interested in the rich history and culture of Jordan. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, offering an in-depth look at the country's heritage, from ancient civilizations to modern times. The Dead Sea Scrolls display is particularly fascinating. The museum is well-organized and clean.

A great introduction to the country of Jordan, especially for the foreigners, in Arabic and English both. JOD5, credit cards accepted. Friendly staff and artistic display. Not too big so you could take your time browsing all the exhibits.

I have been to many museums and historical sites in Jordan, but never expected to see that well-preserved statues and artwork in one place! Great place to visit, and very educational.

This place is telling the story of Jordan from beginning and the civilizations that was on Jordan I was impressed with the amount of treasures and informations that they give in this museum as a Jordanian I have never known them, staff are friendly and smiling the atmosphere was amazing but I think we need more rest points vending machines cuz 3 hours was too much, the upstairs section was about Islamic civilization and the muslims scientists achievements

The Jordan Museum is one of the modern and beautiful museums in which you can spend an enjoyable time learning about the history and heritage of Jordan. Many wonderful sections through which you can learn about the historical eras and diverse cultures that passed through Jordan’s history. What distinguishes this museum is its reliance on modernity in the way it presents information, especially to children, as there are many simulators/ tablets that present information in a beautiful and appropriate way. There is 1001 inventions exhibition on the first floor through which you will discover the past and inspire the future; It presents a short film rich with useful information in a modern theatrical style. There are mannequins featuring a number of the Arab scientific figures, along with the relevant information specific to each figure. The museum’s staff are very friendly and helpful. Entrance ticket prices are very reasonable.
