The Jung Hotel & Residences

We stayed from 6/4-7. 2 adults and 2 kids. We would return, only minor items which did not ruin our stay by any means. The pool needs a little TLC. The washer and dryer were a welcome addition, as well as the well equipped kitchen. Tea towels would be wonderful, but we used a bathroom towel. A swifer sweeper would be a great addition. Tracking dirty from the NOLA streets. We took our shoes off at the door, but having a way to wipe out the floors would be great. But, I am so glad they are tile and not carpet. Some laundry pods would be nice and dish soap as well. These are the little things that go a long way. The location is convenient, but away from the noise. We found food and coffee easily.

A great place to stay! We were really impressed with how the room looked (especially with the fair price). The French Quarter was only a 10-15 minute walk, which was perfect! The housekeeping service was great and the workers at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. My only minor complaint is that the pool is freezing. But I liked that it was on the roof! Would recommend staying here!

When I first looked at this hotel and saw that it included residences, I was skeptical because these type of places are normally on the low scale. I was surprised because the hotel room is 5-star and the discounted price is great. We stayed in a King Executive room which had small kitchen with stove, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. The room was a nice size with sofa, two desk, and two lazy boy chairs. It has a small rooftop pool and bar. Excellent location on Canal street right between the French quarter & Warehouse District with streetcar access right in front of the hotel, Bourbon St. right down the road. Only negatives, the hotel restaurant is still not open, bar closes early, and no entertainment. The residences are completely separate on it's own side of the hotel. Will definitely stay there when I revisit New Orleans.

This was the most beautiful hotel I stayed in. I felt home. Stayed in the Sonder side it was just lovely. It has all amenities, even washer and dryer. We valet parked all 3 nights we were there but that was a knock across the head when we could have saved money going across the street to park for $45 for 3 nights instead of $150. But I'm definitely not disappointed AT ALL. The pool for Sonder is a kiddie pool 3 1/2 ft deep but at least you know you won't drown.

It is a very beautiful hotel. Check in process was easy and seamless. The front end decor was beautiful. There is a small bar area and lost of seating throughout the lobby. The rooftop pool was lovely, there weren't any umbrellas out with the the lounge chairs so there was minimal shaded areas. Our suite was very spacious. The TV signal did lose signal a lot of times. The only major issue we experienced was our bedding had makeup stains. We called the front desk and were told "there's a blanket in the closet". That was unacceptable and it was changed the NEXT DAY! Thankfully we stripped the bed and I travel with additional bedding. Also, when our bathroom was cleaned, a few of the replacement towels pink stains as well, but housekeeping was nice enough to bring us more. The hotel is within a 10-15 walking distance of everything we wanted to see in New Orleans, as well as the trolly being accessible directly in front of the hotel. I would highly suggest the trolly for anyone not wanting to uber or walk. The tickets were $1.60/each. The customer service rep at the front desk was extremely helpful in helping us navigate downloading the trolly app. Overall, it was a lovely experience

Really great experience here. There was even a flash flood while we were staying here but the staff kept the front foyer dry. Rooms were really spacious especially for the price and well lit. I read the reviews that towels or sheets weren’t changed or water wasn’t left. We didn’t have that experience. New sheets, towels, and water bottles were in our room at the end of every day. My tip is to tip the housekeeping. We left a little note with what we needed changed with a tip on our bed every morning before we left. Also complimentary water bottles were in the gym on the floor we stayed on so it was easy to grab if we needed. Location was great too. Quiet area but near everything and the streetcars. Rooftop pool was a plus, although the was always cold lol

All in I didn't mind it. The room was big and reasonably clean. It's just a very odd place. It's huge but so quiet. They clearly have a pretty light service for the place. The fire alarm went off one night and there was no direction from anyone affiliated with the hotel. But then when the Fire Department arrived they didn't exactly take charge either. Location is fine but I would stay somewhere towards the Garden District next time round. Fine value for what it is. No thrills business.

Positive: It had everything we needed at a fair price and a great location. We were very happy to have a walk-in shower and the staff were very helpful. Negative: The bath towels were a bit small!
