It was my first time and I must admit I did not make a reservation, taking into consideration that I might have to wait a bit for a table. My friend was already there when I arrived, and she informed me that we will have to wait for the table. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I decided to ask the girl welcoming guests, what are the rules of waiting. I politely asked her what can I expect and how things work here, as I could see that she was writing some guests’ names and I would like to find out how things work. She responded to me in a very rude manner that I should know that. I was like “excuse me I believe I should know many things in life but knowing how does the restaurant operate is not necessarily one of them”. My response made the girl even more angry. She did not try to solve the problem at all, was only making her personal statements that I should have checked it before coming here. To avoid this pointless and draining conversation with the girl, who clearly did not have any capability of grasping a point of view, which was different than hers, I just asked if our names were written on the waiting list, as my friend arrived here earlier than me. She got even more emotional saying “no”. I asked her to write them down. Jenn( as she introduced herself) was the worst person I’ve ever encountered working in hospitality. I found her communication style aggressive and insulting. I am not too sure if she had a bad day, or maybe was on her period but that’s definitely not like you should be treating your guests. All the staff inside the club were very nice and attentive though, and the view was spectacular.
