“For even the smallest things in life can bring joy to those around you…|Sharing is loving.”||The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama is nestled only about 20 minutes away from Tokyo.|To some it may feel like far from the big City of Tokyo but it’s actually just minutes away.|Hotel rates are way more affordable compared to most of the 5 star hotels in Tokyo while still getting the same quality and fine service.|This hotel has always been my go to or my hidden sanctuary for about 3 years now when I needed some self care and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. |The Spa is an oasis,I can immerse myself there for hours.|Best part is I love the people who work there, they never cease to amaze me and the hotel’s omotenashi always exceed beyond my expectations. |The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama feels like a Paradise on its own overlooking the harbour view with breathtaking sunrise when you get lucky.|In room dining are also superb when you don’t feel like going out for some fancy meals.|I will always be a fan.

This was a girls trip. We came to get some R&R for 3 nights. We were blown away! Our room was magnificent! We had 2-twin-bed room with a view of the harbor. The room was set up that our beds faced the beautiful views and at night, it was gorgeous. Very modern room with the tablet next to bed to open/close sheer curtains and drapes, and a master lights on/off button. Nice robes and comfy bed clothes provided, and slippers too. Slept so well here.||||Breakfast in the Japanese restaurant was a wonderful experience with the private room. So many surprises from the chef. And they knew what you ate the previous morning and gives you a different menu the next day. We had in-room dining for dinner on our spa day. Too relaxed to go out after all that pampering. The meal was varied and spot-on. We also had a teppanyaki meal one night. Everything was delicious and prepared with care. Highly recommend.||||The spa treatment I had was a facial by Kaori Nakajima. She was amazing, attentive, and you can tell she loved her job. She heard that I was tired from all the walking I had done at Yokohama before arriving at the Kahala, and offered to give me a leg massage. Wow, did that make me feel so much better! Thank YOU, Kaori, you are a gem at the spa, and I'll come back for more when I return to the Kahala. The spa is connected to the fitness room and the swimming pool and jacuzzi. It's a beautiful facility that you should use. The jacuzzi is sooo nice - probably the best. It's outdoors, set at a good warm temperature, and you get a nice Yokohama view.||||I'll be back to enjoy the Kahala experience again. Thank you, to the Guest Relations Mgr, Akihisa Sakamoto, for seeing us out at checkout. This is probably the best hotel experience I've ever had.

This hotel offers an excellent price quality balance for the 5 star range. As we are members of the Leading Hotels of the World we received an upgrade to a corner room with an excellent view to the bay area. Unfortunately they charge you to visit the swimming pool & spa amenities, which for me - as a frequent traveller - is unseen of for a 5 star hotel. I told this to the concierge services who shared my views. Staff is very nice, but not everybody expresses themselves well in English.

There are many reasons why this hotel deserves such high ratings. From the moment you walk in the level and commitment of service, greeting and smiles exceed expectations. Every person no matter what position or job title was consistent throughout. The rooms were always cleaned immaculately. Their breakfast buffet satisfied everyone in our party (there were 10 of us!). If we can give this hotel 10 stars we would. Thank you for making my dad's 70th birthday a memorable experience for our families 💖 And extra love for the concierge in helping us book the Marine Rouge dinner! THANK YOU!!!

Top notch service from the moment you pull up to the hotel. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and provided caring service all around. In room dining was good, amenities were great. Great location, easy walk to restaurants and museum for kids. Will be back.

This is an amazing hotel. Super big room with stunning view! All stuffs are super friendly, Anna walked through all details of the room to me, she is so patient and kind. The food in the Japanese cafe is amazing!! The best beef I ever ate.

Location is a bit inconvenient. I was excited for the views, but they were rather just okay. The check-in and check-out process can take quite a bit of time (and no ability to do express checkout from what I've noticed, sadly). The Japanese breakfast was truly amazing. Perhaps even better than Ritz Kyoto's.

Great hotel. The room we got was very spacious (upgraded). Amex FHR benefit makes this stay even better. All the staff were kind and very attentive. Food are pretty pricey but very good which are expected since it's a 5 star hotel. View at night is beautiful.
