The Karol Hotel, St. Petersburg Clearwater, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The Karol stands 9 floors and it looks expensive but it is NOT |When you walk in the door, you’re greeted to White on white marble . Looks like heaven before the pearly gates. The desk staff, Genesis Caroline, Ellen, Vicki are so warm and inviting.. you get a champagne toast at check in . Elite lounge is dark wood and dark brown leather feels like a cigar bar at the ritz carllton .. they have the best bourbon scotch selection I’ve ever seen in a hotel catch restaurant has the best seafood and the best steaks. My steak was better than Burns. Steakhouse not kidding. My chicken waffles in the morning was amazing as I went up the elevator, clean wood chrome to my Suite. It was huge also white marble floors in my bathroom, a tub and a shower. It was beautiful The three rooms were so well anointed I could live there forever. The room service was exceptional as Taj and Ellen brought up my food doing the manager. Also helped my time there upstairs rooftop was pouring drinks so well garnished my cosmopolitans or to die for. I love The Karol Hotel. I recommend it to everyone the only place to stay in Clearwater, Florida is The Karol Hotel

I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at The Karol Hotel Restaurant with a good friend, and it was such a memorable experience that I had to come back. During that first visit, we started with the coconut shrimp appetizer—crispy, flavorful, and absolutely tremendous. I followed it up with the fish and chips, which were hands-down the best I’ve had in St. Petersburg. The fish was perfectly cooked, the batter light and golden, and the fries were spot on. The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Two weeks later, I returned for dinner, this time in the bar area, and it was just as fantastic. I ordered the grouper, and it was cooked to perfection—fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. The ambience in the bar was high-end and sophisticated, yet still comfortable and inviting. Once again, the service was top-notch. The staff made me feel like a valued guest, and their attention to detail really stood out. The Karol Hotel Restaurant has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the area. Whether you're there for a casual lunch or a refined dinner, you can count on excellent food, impeccable service, and a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!

Wonderful hotel and a great business venue. Very close to both the Clearwater and Tampa Airports. This hotel has excellent views of Tampa Bay and is tailored to business professionals while offering a more personable experience than many "big box" hotels. Steve Augustus gave us the grand tour including their impressive conference room, rooftop bar, and exclusive lounge. Lunch was excellent in both quality and service, and I would love to go back when the weather is cooler to enjoy the beautiful outdoor dining area. The icing on the cake was learning about the illustrious history of this family owned hotel. If you are doing business in the Tampa Bay Area, I would highly recommend checking in to the Karol Hotel!

Wonderful Hotel and experience. Our networking group meets there Wednesday mornings in the too floor restaurant. The view is amazing and so is the breakfast. Carlee does a great job serving us. I’ve been to lunch twice with Steve Augustus, he does a great job representing the hotel. And the food is always amazing in the restaurant. Highly recommend.

The Karol Hotel never disappoints!! The hospitality from the amazing staff makes you feel like part of the Family, the quality of everything from decor, cuisine, to their excellent selection of various Champagne 🍾 , wine 🍷 & specialty drinks. .We had a wonderful time at one of their many events, Barks 🐾 & Bubbles 🥂, where we got to sample some of their best pairings while benefiting SPCA. I highly recommend you make your way here for anything from a quick bite & cocktail at The Rooftop bar, planning an event, to an amazing overnight stay.

This hotel is one of kind. Gorgeous interior and spacious rooms. Genesis greeted us and took amazing care of my party. Drinks were divine at the rooftop bar. Dinner at the katch was phenomenal. The lobster macaroni and cheese is to die for. Definitely can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I had a great time staying here! Our room was clean, spacious, large step in shower!!! The restaurant ( the katch) had a dinner special that was prime rib(14oz), with asparagus, mashed potatoes. Also got the house salad which was fantastic! We split the dinner, there was plenty. The meal was delicious and the service was really awesome too!!

The bar at Karol Hotel is a hidden gem that delivers a truly standout experience, thanks in large part to the incredible service and creativity of Chris. From the moment you approach the bar, you take in the gorgeous rooftop environment which suited my husband and I past our expectations as the online pictures don’t do it justice. We were greeted with a warm, upscale atmosphere that balances elegance and comfort perfectly. But what really sets this place apart is the level of care and fun playfulness behind the bar. Of course I am the guest who is never prepared to order a cocktail, but was delightfully surprised with his “Miss Sunkiss” cocktail I am convinced was created just for me! It’s bright, refreshing, and perfectly balanced, with a flavor profile that somehow captures both sophistication and playfulness in a single sip. You can tell it was crafted with intention and a deep understanding of flavor. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or just looking for a memorable night out, the Karol Hotel bar is a must-visit.
