We had a wonderful 5 night stay at The Kayon. From the moment we arrived to the second we left, the staff looked after us wonderfully. The hotel is in a jungle setting which is amazing, the decor and the pool area are all wonderful and in keeping with the setting. The service is second to none. Both Ditha and Doni on reception could not be more welcoming and helpful willing to help with everything. Satria, our assigned staff, was very friendly and helpful with arrangements. We arranged trips and lifts through the hotel and they were very flexible. Karta took us to the rice fields on our trip and was so knowledgeable and helpful when my husband wasn’t well. There are many steps up and down, so not somewhere if you aren’t able for them, but it does add to the charm. The food is also fantastic and I would recommend the breakfast, so much choice and also tile Balinese evenings for dinner. Mira and Doni were so helpful and welcoming. I couldn’t fault our stay and would highly recommend for an authentic style jungle experience in Ubud.

Our second stay at the Kayon Ubud Resort was an absolutely incredible experience. From start to finish we enjoyed every second. The staff made us feel like family from the very beginning. From their amazing breakfast selection (and a view of the beautiful ubud jungle), to their Balanese themed nights with performances from fire dancers and local performers, we could not fault their hospitality in any way. The massages at Serayu spa were also some of the best we have ever had. Nanik and Era were so talented. I want to strongly commend Nova who took care of us personally during our stay. She took us for the purification ceremony at the local villiage and the experience was second to none. She had such a friendly and caring nature and we were so impressed. The food at Kepitu was delicious and the restaurant staff were so caring. Special shout out to Anung (sorry I could not remember the correct spelling). We would strongly recommend staying here if you are considering coming to Bali. We even received a beautiful parting gift which we will proudly display at our home in Ireland. Thank you again for everything. We will most definitely be back at your home in the future. Wishing you all health and happiness.

This was our second stay at The Kayon Resort, and it was just as incredible — if not better — than the first! You feel truly pampered at this resort. The staff are warm, attentive, and always eager to assist with any questions or requests.||||The beds are exceptionally comfortable, which is especially important to me due to a back injury. The resort is kept clean, and the thoughtful turndown service each evening is such a lovely touch — returning to a softly lit room with drawn curtains and a lovely fragrance after a long day is pure bliss.||||I definitely recommend using the resort’s private driver service. We booked a full-day tour, plus transfers to the ferry terminal and airport, and it was seamless especially after the flooding. Our driver, Karta, was not only professional and friendly but also shared fascinating insights into Balinese culture throughout our trip.||||The van was spacious and comfortable, and we were always greeted with cold towels and bottled water after each outing — a small but much-appreciated luxury. The tours are fairly priced and can be completely customized to your interests and pace, which made the experience more enjoyable.||||I sincerely hope this wasn’t my last visit to this wonderful resort — I’m already looking forward to returning!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! We came here for our honeymoon and it was amazing from the start. The staff is like family. They welcomed us with flowers and a blessing. They upgraded our room for our honeymoon and decorated the bed and tub! The spa was amazing. The food was to die for! Everything was clean and relaxing, with staff always ready to help. Ditha our receptionist, our servers at the restaurant, housekeeping staff, the manager, and every other staff member we encountered were remarkable. There is also a complimentary shuttle to downtown ubud which was very helpful with seeing the area! At the end of our trip, we were surprised with a honeymoon cake and bracelets from the local temple. Beautiful resort, with insanely kind people. I would highly recommend to anyone considering.

Lost for words at how incredible our stay at the Kayon Resort has been! They held our intimate wedding ceremony and it was so magical, beautiful decoration and food, seamlessly coordinated ensuring a stress free experience! Thank you so much Anggi for making sure it was exactly what we wanted, you were incredible! |The resort is so peaceful and beautiful, the tropical rainforest adds the ambiance and allows for the beautiful meals to be had with a view! The Kayon Resort is an amazing place to stay! The atmosphere is so peaceful and perfect for relaxation. Breakfast was delicious, and we really enjoyed the entertainment during dinner. The staff are incredibly friendly special thanks to Ditha at the reception, who always greeted us with a genuine smile. We truly recommend this resort and can’t wait to come back again!

The staff is what makes this resort so special. From the front desk, to the restaurant, to the spa. |Book a half day with a resort driver. Ours went above and beyond to make the experience special for us. |They do seem quite anxious that we leave reviews, particularly for specific people. To do so I would surely leave someone out mistakenly so I will just say all staff were fantastic to the point of almost over attentiveness
