Our stay at The Kayon Resort has quite simply been one of the most extraordinary experiences of our lives. We stayed for 11 days, and from the very first moment to the heartbreak of leaving, everything about this place has been exceptional. The food, the service, and the overall atmosphere are truly world-class. Every meal was outstanding, every detail thoughtfully considered, and every interaction filled with genuine warmth. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us, and staying at The Kayon is what made it so unforgettable. What truly sets this resort apart, however, is the people. Every single member of staff went above and beyond at every opportunity — always kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, no matter the request. You are never made to feel like a guest here; you are made to feel like family. In particular, we hold Eva, Novi, Mira, Yudi, and Veli in the highest regard. Their service was nothing short of exceptional — truly world-class — but more than that, they are beautiful souls. Their warmth, care, and sincerity left a lasting impression on our hearts. Whoever owns this resort should be incredibly proud of them and ensure they are looked after as the priceless assets they truly are. We have travelled extensively and stayed in some of the most expensive and prestigious hotels around the world, yet nothing has come close to the experience we had at The Kayon. The level of care, humanity, and soul here is incomparable. We are so deeply sad to be leaving — but we have already decided we will be back next year to visit our Kayon family again. Exceptional place to stay we stayed st the villa right by the watefall amazing view and the sound of the waterfall was a perfect white noise alternative. The food was amazing and the staff wver so kind and accommodating. Dont skip the breakfast they have the best almond croissants and other variety of breads ans breakfast menu. The high tea shouldnt be skipped as well we had a prbiaye cpuple dinner prices are affordable and have free shuttle to and fro hotel to ubud town at periodic time. I would definitely recommend this as a peaceful stay.

What can I say about this wonderful hotel.|Beautiful, full of details. From the pool to the restaurant with its incredible view, the activities, and the kindness of the staff. The driver too.|The rooms are amazing, decorated in a way that preserves the Balinese experience.|It even has a natural waterfall. And the tea welcoming they serve is wonderful because it’s so delicate.||We loved everything! Thank you to Novi for her warm welcome, to Satria for kindly assisting us when we left, and to Mira and Gomboh at the restaurant — and for inviting us to experience the Balinese dance, which was truly wonderful.|Everything was excellent! What truly set this experience apart was the attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care shown by every member of the staff. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt warmly welcomed and incredibly well looked after. The rooms were beautifully curated—thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and maintained to the highest standard. Having the option for the room to be cleaned twice per day was such a luxury, and the nightly turn-down service was a lovely and thoughtful touch that made each evening feel special. A huge shoutout to the front-of-house team, especially Novi and Myrah, whose warm smiles greeted us each time we entered or left the resort. Their hospitality truly elevated our stay. And while they stood out, we can honestly say all the staff were amazing. The property itself is stunning—lush, serene, and authentically Balinese. Everywhere we looked, the grounds were immaculate and clearly cared for with pride. We absolutely loved our time here and would stay again in a heartbeat. The Kayon Resort delivered an unforgettable experience, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Good food, fantastic attentive service. Our room was the most luxurious we had in our four weeks in Indonesia, with a plunge pool and a clear view of the waterfall and jungle. There is free yoga every morning at 7 am, but we splurged on private yoga sessions, which pushed us a bit and were superb. The spa was quite nice as well. It’s a bit out of town, but they offer a free shuttle to and from, which takes about 20 minutes. We would go back.

It was a very relaxing and magical experience. Especially how it’s placed next to the jungle and the waterfall. The staff is extremely attentive. The infinity pool over the jungle is just awesome. There are many free activities included (yoga, visit to rice fields) and free shuttle to Ubud was very handy. We also enjoyed the business center so we could do some work. The spa was great.

This review is long overdue, but Kayon Jungle was a dream! Luis made the experience so unforgettable. He was so sweet and lovely, as was everyone on their team. Everything we ate here was amazing. The rooms were so spacious, clean and comfortable. The entire resort is so romantic. I would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Ubud!

Our room came with a river view and the soft sound of the waterfall barely whispering into the room—pure romance. The rain decided to join the vibe too, making it even cozier. The room was stunning: local charm, but still super luxe. Staff were super nice, super polite. And the afternoon tea? Hit the spot perfectly. Cheers from 909.
