The Kimbell Café

This review is specifically for the cafe that is inside of the Kimbell Art Museum. I enjoyed a scoop of their chicken salad. It was flavorful with a little bit of crunch. Nice! I had a small salad with orange vinaigrette, macaroni salad, and mixed fruit. All good! I also tried the chocolate pecan pie and lemonade. This was a very satisfying yet not too heavy of a lunch. Drinks are included and the meal comes with a complimentary cookie. Yum! The young service staff were all friendly and had delightful manners. The ambiance is clean and guests were an older crowd and a good amount of artsy young fans. Parking was free and ample.

They serve great food and drinks. My salad is very fresh and crisp and the quiche was warm and creamy. Before you come check out the hours. We were early because they open at 12:00 on Friday.

We hosted a bridal shower high tea for 15 guests. The cafe set aside tables for us and the staff was very attentive to our needs. We were able to bring an outside cake and flowers. Our guests enjoyed the delicious food and tea selection. The space itself was also so beautiful it didn’t need much decoration. I can’t wait to go back for a casual lunch at another time.

Unlike most museum cafes, this one exudes a certain vibrant energy that makes it a great place to grab a bite, particularly lunch. Menu is very limited, but the soup is usually excellent. If the weather permits, sit outside in the courtyard. Service is efficient, and you pay for what you pick. The two entree option makes more sense.

Great little cafe. The servers were very friendly and we really enjoyed the food. Everything was fresh and tasty, especially the fruit. We will definitely come back!

High tea service in the ambiance of the art museum. All house made baked products right down to the house made jams. Yumalisciousness! Pro tip: make it alfresco in the outdoor garden space!

We had the best experience at mother & son tea here. Food was delicious, tea outstanding, and service couldn’t be better. My son has food allergies and staff was super understanding, chef came out multiple times to ask questions and make sure everything was safe. We’ll be back for sure!

Nice cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. I love the combo idea you just a one or two item combo and get to self serve salads (fruit, pasta, lettuce etc.), self serve crackers and drinks both hot coffee and cold lemonade, ice tea, or water and it also comes with a cookie. I choose the mushroom/swiss quiche for my main item. Everything was delicious!
