Ladies That Lunch in Style

Google
Just off Abergele Road in a cute village St George. This is a grade 11 listing traditional pub with a cosy fire as soon as you walk in. Winter opening times Friday to Sunday. Would like to try the Sunday lunch here. Like the atmosphere, very relaxing and cute, quiet corners around the side. Lots of seating and outdoor seating ☀️. Very nice decor in here, love the ornaments dotted around and local prints on the wall. All add to the ambiance as they say and make it inviting. Great service from the staff 👏. Crispy chilli beef and noodles was ‘amazing’ even had to take some home as it was such a big portion (from the ‘light’ bites menu) 10/10 👜 handbag review for our FAB lunch today. Thank you.

We booked here for food on Boxing Day. Cosy with a roaring fire and lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff and the food was delicious. I had the pie of the day (chicken and veg) and my wife had the vegen shepherd's pie, both were fantastic. Next time we're staying in the area we'll be back!

Went here for a Sunday roast whilst away for the weekend.I had the chicken dinner, I’m very fussy about my Sunday dinners but this didn’t disappoint. The whole dinner was super tasty! To top it off the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice and cosy.Lovely hidden gem I’d highly recommend.

I was a guest of a client who bought me lunch. Service was very good and quick. I would have given them 5 stars but I think the choices on their menu could be improved. There was only one item on the mains section which was to my liking and that was the fish and chips. The mushy peas were really nice and I liked the side salad but I've had better fish and chips from my local chippy in Abergele. I would go back again and hope to see some improvement.

You cannot fail to be impressed with this beautiful old inn from the outside. The inside is just as impressive. Total history. The menu choice was fantastic and each course and each dish were very impressive and tasty. Accomodated our infant and dog very nicely. Service was excellent. Would recommend with confidence. Will be going back next time.

Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious, highly recommended. Picture is of the porchetta. Cauliflower cheese comes with it, no need to order separately. Gravy really tasty and parsnips perfect. Service was super friendly but not attentive really. We were left waiting For a dessert menu for some time , they were super busy though. Would go back for Sunday lunch again.

Had 3 veggie roasts and 1 beef. Every single one of us cleared our plates! Might be the best roast I’ve eaten you know!! Yorkshire pud, gravy and red cabbage was so so good !! Will travel back from Manchester just to eat that again !

Booked here last minute for a roast today. Staying in the area. And have to say it’s the nicest roast I’ve ever eaten out! Everything was lovely! Enough gravy too which is a bonus! Staff were all lovely and welcoming! We will definitely be back! Would 100% recommend!

The experience begins when you walk through the door. The bar staff - James usually - welcomes you. Once refreshments are expertly doled out, including local beers that are always fresh, you are treated to a menu featuring the best local food purveyors can provide. The owners, Tim and Lynn bring their passion for food, wine and, most importantly, the experience of fine dining to everyone who they serve and meet.
