ATTENTION CLOSES 18:00 - (wrong time) The place is very cozy, the internet is very reliable, I got a cappuccino, and it tastes good (but I think it's because I'm not used to Filipino coffee). Very friendly staff, unfortunately, he was on his own so service was a bit slower. Overall, it's a lovely place with a really nice personal touch. (They also have an excellent food variation in their menu )

The Kismet Café is a refreshing, colorful oasis, squeezed in between international shop and coffee chains, at the bottom of a skyscraper. This is wonderfully decorated place, Buddhism inspired and with a good alternative healthy card as well as with an inspiring bookshelf. It is one of the very few individually managed, customer oriented and very personally run coffee places in Makati. More of these please! Feel at home. My Humus sandwich came with a tomato soup.

When in Makati, it is a must stop. Love their refreshing watermelon juice and the vegan chili con carne burritto. It is my favorite treat when I just want to have a great food. The colorful interiors add to good vibes. Great music as well

We worked here for hours while waiting for our flight. Friendly staff, fast serving and good coffee+food. They had a book exchange section which is awesome for cafes.

Had a very mediocre wrap. It had a very bitter, burnt taste to it. I couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was though, and my guess is something burned in the kitchen, they took it out but the smell and some of the taste lingered. Portion was large though. Staff is not unfriendly but a bit passive and uninterested which created an awkward atmosphere, which is in stark contrast with the vibrant looks of the place. If you don't care about food and hospitality, why are you running a restaurant?

A really small cute cafe with good coffee. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have good wifi and atmosphere there is relaxed. They also have a book exchange which is amazing for a cafe and really rare. The prices are high average. From outside it might not look like your number 1 choice but it's definitely worth to go inside and have some coffee or food.

I absolutely loved this place and in fact had breakfast there every day during trip. The vegan pancakes were great as were the vegan ham & cheese sandwich and vegan cakes. A typical meal for me (I'm a big eater) costs around 300 Philippine Pesos or roughly £4.50. Nice chill atmosphere, free Wi-Fi and AC. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Yelp
To all vegans of Manila this is an important announcement: THIS PLACE HAS VEGAN CHEESE SANDWICHES. Really, really good ones! The kind that makes you go @_@ and cry inside from sheer joy because the cheese is incredible and so much like the "real thing". Get the Jaffle Cheese! It's like finding "the one", the closest thing to those many childhood grilled cheese sandwiches... This place has caught my eye several times, and it really will because their interiors are covered in beautiful, colorful hippie murals (which are created by the owners' mom, who happens to be an international artist). They're all about wellness and natural ingredients, and if that is your thing, then this is your place. Their sandwiches are really, really good. We all loved our vegan sandwiches (Jaffle cheese, jalapeno and cheese, and PB&J). They're also known for their kefir. It was my first time to try kefir, and it's quite similar to kombucha in taste. It's a really healthy probiotic and not a lot of establishments offer kefir locally. The owners are 2 charming expats who have been so kind and accommodating to me and my friends. We were also offered several freebies from their kitchen experiments, one of which is an espresso pop! It's an espresso shot frozen into a mini popsicle, really tasty, and works as an espresso shot too as it definitely woke me up. Tip: For security reasons they close early at around 7PM, so this place is more appropriate for breakfast to a light early dinner.

Yelp
Found this place by accident. It's just a hole in the wall. Nonetheless, it is a good place to get away from all the noises and hustle bustle of the streets in Makati. Do stop by if you need to find a place for good Java or simply to relax.

Yelp
I was on my usual route to work when my car passed by this establishment I've never seen before. It was a little café with a clear door that allowed me a glimpse of their cheery, bohemian, bright yellow walls. I decided to try it out the next time I passed by, and when I did... I found a new favorite café; my little psychedelic secret garden nested unassumingly (if you're not looking) along Kalayaan ave. The Kismet Café is an organic, all-natural, earth-loving, free-spirited hippie café that also sells health & wellness goods as well as meditation beads and upcycled bags. This place is downright charming. Aside from their delightful collection of goods, including vegan cookies, kefir water and organic tea, they've got a scrumptious selection of sandwiches, and potent coffees (organic mountain blend! Ooh!) and teas. I ordered myself a relaxing (and apparently weight loss supporting) java banaba tea and a PB&J sandwich. Because they were out of jam, one of the owners (either french or american, or I could be wrong. Couldn't pick up their accents. They both make and serve the dishes themselves, by the way) asked if I was okay with smashed berries and honey instead, an alternative I was more than giddy to try. The sandwich was delicious and healthy, a humble but tasteful serving of spread pressed between uber grainy whole wheat loaves. I was also told that the tea bag was so potent it could last me 2-3 days should I decide to take it home. I took it home, and indeed, the tea bag held on strong for days. I like that the setup consists of high wooden chairs and tables without back rests. The elevated, upright position I was in forced me to get work done without feeling stressed. Did I also mention that they have a sandwich called The Full Retard? It wasn't available when I asked for it, because it had to be recalled for further experimentation as the owner said it turned out to be "a total mess." I replied "That's 'cause you never go Full Retard," and he chuckled and excitedly chimed "Exactly!!" ...Heh. I really dig this place.

Yelp
Wonderful little café with kind staff, good coffee, and a cheerful vibe! I loved the bright, welcoming atmosphere, plus the murals and colorful dishes. Good meetup or work spot--they didn't mind that I stayed there reading, long after emptying my coffee. Would definitely return!

Yelp
The Kismet Café is my favorite cafe in the city by far. The food is good, has a homey atmosphere and where else can you get a very decent cup of coffee for P50 in Makati? The main food served here are jaffles which are pressed sandwiched sealed at the edges. Some of the jaffles are filled with cheese, peanut butter or cashew spread. All jaffles come with taro chips which go really well with the sandwiches. They also sell healthy vegan-friendly products like coconut sugar, kefir and sugar-free and dairy-free chocolate chip cookies. This is definitely a great place to eat if you are vegan/vegetarian. The interior has a lot of character and soul which is missing from a lot of establishments in the city. The owners also work here and are usually up for some friendly banter.

Yelp
My breakfast here was one of the culinary highlights during my one week vacation in Manila. The food was fresh, healthy, and delicious! My friend and I tried the sandwiches which were warm and crispy on the outside and moist and chewy on the inside. We also tried the shakes which tasted really good and were filling. I like that this place is owned and operated by locals. Support small businesses, eat here!!
