The location is indeed good, but the service was extremely disappointing. My family stayed for several nights and booked multiple rooms. On the first day, breakfast was fine. However, on the second day, we were told that our breakfasts had already been taken and that there were none left according to their count.
We repeatedly explained that the count was incorrect and that a mistake had been made by the staff. However, we were told that the previous staff member had already ended their shift and that, based on the records, there was no remaining balance. Despite our continued explanations, the staff member contacted her so-called manager, Sasaya. I initially thought the issue would be resolved, but unfortunately, it was not.
The manager spoke even louder and said that if we wanted breakfast, we had to pay for it. In reality, we were not insisting on the breakfast itself; we simply wanted the situation to be handled correctly. Eventually, she reluctantly agreed to provide one extra breakfast but did so with an extremely unpleasant attitude.
I was very disappointed, as we had stayed at the hotel for several nights, yet the situation made us feel as though we were trying to cheat the hotel for a free breakfast. On the following day, another mistake occurred, but I chose not to argue again. To make matters worse, we overheard staff referring to us in Japanese as “the troublesome group” before serving us.
Overall, despite the good location, the service experience was unacceptable and left us feeling disrespected.
