The Knot Sapporo (Sapporo, Hokkaido Prefecture) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In the heart of the city of Sapporo, the Knot is a boutique hotel that feels both urban and rural. It’s dedicated to the idea of Sapporo as a city surrounded by nature, and its aesthetic, accordingly, is one part big-city loft style and one part rugged and rustic. There’s a touch of àpres-ski vibe in the lobby lounge, and many of the rooms feature walls made from local cedar. Les Bois is the name of the lounge restaurant, the venue for everything from breakfast to late-night dinner and drinks, and also in the building is a Seicomart convenience store and Senshuan, a famous local confectionery." - Tablet Hotels

Great location. Close to everything. Rooms are spacious relatively. We stayed at a deluxe room with view of the street. Very friendly crew! Only big big issue is the WiFi connectivity. It's super super slow. You can't even play a YouTube clip without pausing every few minutes. Frankly this could be a show stopper for people like me who needs to work on social media for editing and uploading after a long day. It's is really horrible. Hope the hotel will fix this ! Otherwise it is a perfect hotel for the price it charges for casual travellers. Hope the hotel reads this and take this as a feedback for improvement!

I stayed at The Knot Sapporo with my husband during the 2024 Snow Festival. We splurged for the Deluxe King room and had no regrets. The extra square footage made it easier to relax, and the view was spectacular, especially at night. The bathroom, furniture, and decor were all great as well — modern, comfortable, and clean. The location was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel, and it fully met my expectations. There's an entrance from the basement floor into the underground shopping mall, which was really convenient, and we were able to easily walk to the festival area as well as restaurants, stores, and metro stations. The staff was really helpful any time we needed something. We arrived one day later than expected due to an issue with our train from Hakodate, and I had trouble reaching the hotel by phone. I ended up emailing the contact listed in my reservation confirmation, and I received a prompt reply reassuring me that our reservation would be kept and that our room would be ready when we arrived. As promised, everything was ready to go when we got there the following morning, so we were able to get started on sightseeing right away. Strong recommend for this hotel and for this neighborhood.

Clean room. Entire hotel is non smoking. 4 pillows per room. Cool aircon but pity the window cannot be opened for cool autumn fresh air. Fast WiFi but no YouTube on TV. Strong hot shower pressure. Disposable slippers too small for men's feet. Location is right at shopping street Dusukino. There is a basement link to hotel so don't need to go ground level especially if you are carrying heavy luggage.

Good place To stay overall the room size is correct for a big Japanese city, they have a laundry automate easy to use but the dryer is not really efficient. The bar is really nice at the lobby level with great ambiance. Bathroom a bit small but decent and everything very clean. Elevators are quite busy all day need to be patient

Convenient location with direct access to underground shopping street and metro. Offered tokens to exchange drinks and snacks. As we stayed for 2 nights, we have more tokens for wider choices but of coz, you can top up by cash. Unable to keep a luggage there overnight for free before we went to Jozankei hotspring. One of the staff said it needs 3000 yen while the other just said cannot keep the luggage for us. Char

With me is hotel staff, Benz. She helped me in my medical predicament--immediately needing a doctor for a urological problem. With much empathy and kindness She ensured that I get to the hospital safely. The doctor was equally kind. He said "You will be well". And I am. In body, mind and spirit. Visit Japan? Again and again. I feel safe with these people.

We stayed at The Knot Sapporo during the summer as a family, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is stylish, clean, and well-located, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. It’s a great spot for families looking for a modern, convenient base in Sapporo.||One downside to our stay was the unexpected charge of ¥3,000 for a lost key card. While I understand the need to cover replacement costs, this fee felt excessive and out of step with the otherwise welcoming and guest-friendly atmosphere of the hotel.||Despite that hiccup, we truly enjoyed our time at The Knot Sapporo and would recommend it—just be extra careful with your key card!

The rooms are clean, but feels like the daily cleaning is not thorough enough especially for the toilet. Amenities are downstairs so have to self service. They have this “K-coins” where it can be exchanged for free snacks / drinks on Level 2 bar area.
