The L Resort Krabi

We stayed here as a family of 4 with two kids. Here are my thoughts Pros: - Location is central- that’s about all that the L Resort has going for it. - The see view from the family room is nice. Cons: - Service is terrible - ladies in the breakfast room were so unfriendly. Most don’t even smile. The one that does smile is at the egg station. - They give you 4 SMALL bottles of water per day and that’s it. There isn’t even an option to buy more from the hotel. So plan accordingly. - The rooms are so outdated and dirty. The same dirty glasses stayed in our room during the entire stay. - We had ants all over. We told the reception desk and they said they would clean again, but the ants were non-stop. - Bathroom is all rusted. The bathroom mirror was dirty and you could see they only clean the middle of the mirror. - Breakfast - I asked for bananas 3 days in a row and they were always out. The fruit platter was always out of fruit and when they refill the fruits, they are stingy and only put a few. - The walls are not sound proof and you can hear your neighbors talk. - The windows are not sound proof and the noise lasts until the morning hours. - If you take the family room - the kids bunk bed is literally under the AC unit so you can’t turn it on at night when they sleep. - The bathroom shower drain constantly drips drips. - My kid asked the reception desk for a towel for the pool and the lady said no to her and told her to go back to the room to get the pool towel. While she could see my kid was wet. Overall, for the price you pay to stay here, you would expect to get better services. Don’t expect much from the staff. The location is good, but that’s about it. It would be so easy and affordable to say yes to their guests in terms of a towel or bottle of water, yet the L Resort makes no effort to make your stay comfortable.

The L Resort is a little slice of paradise. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff do everything they can to ensure your stay is perfect & always have a smile on their face and friendly words each day. The rooms are immaculate, modern & spacious and we cleaned every day. The pool area always sun sunbeds & pool is stunning. Food in wanna place is fabulous too. Best of all the location is slap bang in the middle of all the action but quiet enough to relax - don’t wait just book! I will return here time & time again. Thank you L resort for making my relaxing holiday magic.

Good location directly across from beach and long boat ticket stand. If you are a light sleeper there is a nightclub close by that runs late. The rooms and pool were clean and nice. One suggestion would be to keep the breakfast buffet food stations warm.

One of the best things about The L Resort Krabi is its location. We're just across the road from Ao Nang Beach, and all the amenities are within walking distance. We loved strolling along the shops and beach, exploring the local shops make it easy for us to do our shopping, massage and restaurants. We had fun visiting the night market. And had the chance to watch Muay Thai at the Night Market Ao Nang Stadium. Which is 5 minutes drive from the resort. Overall, we'd highly recommend The L Resort Krabi for families or couples looking for a relaxing getaway. The resort's beachfront views, large rooms, and excellent service make it an ideal choice for anyone visiting Krabi."

We have just returned from a week at the fabulous L Resort in Krabi and everything was first class from our first day to our last! Rooms are immaculate, staff super friendly, food delicious and the location is perfect for all that you want to do. 5 stars doesn't seem enough for this place...and I'm fussy!! You can book this hotel with total confidence knowing you will have a fabulous stay....can't wait to go back!!

Our home away from home in Aonang. We stayed here on 3 separate occasions during our trip, and were received like old friends each time. Apart from the lovely and extremely helpful staff, the location is very convenient, right in the middle of the tourist area and across from the beach (not a great beach, but it’s still nice to be near the sea), the rooms are excellent for the price you pay, and breakfast is spot on. The only downside is the noise from the bars on the main strip at night (the price you pay for the central location), and that the pool area and the exterior in general are in need of an upgrade. The rooms in the left building still have a very nice vista of the central hotel area, however.

10 Stars Lovely resort with very attentive, helpful staff in the centre of bustling Ao Nang. I can't fault this place, at all. Everything, from the first point of contact until our departure was absolutely superb! There were a couple of unfortunate medical events, one requiring ambulance, with my children and the staff were incredibly helpful, making my job, as a single parent far from home, so much easier. Nothing was too much trouble or too difficult. Michel is friendly, and hospitality in Ao Nang is really his thing, having arrived here in the late 1980s. Certainly, things have changed dramatically since my first visit in the 90s but the national park islands, Ao Nang and Railay Beach are still incredible. "The L" is, I feel, the best privately-owned hotel in the area. It has a very personable and very chill, "sabaii" feel, much like the original bungalows, but with a modern, luxury-upgrade twist. The breakfasts are sumptuous and the pool area is very relaxing. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with double-glazed windows for sound and heat reduction. I didn't experience any negatives at all. So, I highly recommend booking "The L" for your Ao Nang stay, especially directly on their website.

This was the best place in our trip so far. The location is unbeatable- near all the restaurants and action, the rooms were super spacious and very clean. The breakfast (included) was the best I’ve had in a hotel by far (except the coffee- but we found the 6-11 up the road has good coffee.) King sized bed at first seemed like it would be too firm but it wasn’t- we slept great. Would definitely recommend.
