The Lafayette

This building has been infested with roaches for over a year. My front window is broken, there are water leaks in the crawl space and kitchen, and the sink backs up weekly. Property Alliance has been negligent with my work orders to say the least, so much so that I had to get the City of Denver involved. They are now receiving violations and fines from the city inspector because of their inability to respond to work orders in a timely manner. They have also made and lost 4 keys to my unit. I have spoken to everyone on their team about the inhabitability issues but am still experiencing unlivable conditions. No one seems to keep track of anything so I am constantly starting over every time I contact them. I strongly advise against renting this property. Property Alliance is not capable of managing or resolving any issues you may have. They will now be facing legal issues and violations from the City of Denver.

Worst place I've ever lived. It's infested with mice and water beetles in the spring. The old pipes in the building have kept me up for hours with how loud they can get. Management is impossible to contact. We had our apartment flood during a bad rain storm last year and weren't able to contact anyone about it. People break into the building on multiple occasions. Nobody cleans up after their dogs, and the dog across the hall from my old apartment would cry bark for hours at night. Avoid this place at all costs, it's cheap for a reason.

I stayed here for a year in a studio, I didn't see any mice.... Had an issue with the heater in the unit and they fixed it that day. Washer and dryer went out but they addressed it quickly. The representative of the complex Leo is quick to respond and addressed all questions. I would probably do it again if need be.. Don't leave your shoes outside of your door they will get stolen but that's common in Denver I guess.

Terrible place to live. This property has three different kinds of infestations- rats, roaches, and some kind of a cousin of roaches I've never seen before. Homeless people frequently break into the property (twice this week) to sleep in the laundry room and I have even had a person break into our outdoor closet and defecate on our belongings. Management is impossible to reach in such scenarios,, and even the emergency maintenance line we are provided does not respond for up to a day when my unit flooded during a storm in July. Our unit has loud pipes running through the ceiling, holes in the baseboards that infestations get into the unit through, and clearly 0 safety and security whatsoever. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Appropriately the last agent would fault on just getting people into vacant places with mild cleaning done...the current agent Johnathan takes charge in addressing any and all issues ASAP. He's helpful and very approachable.

The whole building has a mouse infestation, and little is done about it.
