The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali

Stayed here for an office event and had a great experience. The guest room management system uses a Honeywell solution, which makes the room very comfortable and easy to control. You can also unlock your room using your phone through the Marriott Bonvoy app, which is very convenient. True to its name, the hotel has many swimming pools, including one with sand that feels just like being at the beach. They also offer traditional Balinese dance performances near the lobby. This is a very nice touch, especially since most guests are tourists on holiday—it’s a great way to experience and learn about Balinese culture. Overall, a wonderful stay, and I will definitely come back again soon for a holiday.

We stayed 5 nights at The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, in a one-bedroom villa with a private pool, and it was a genuine five-star experience. The villa was beautiful: quiet, relaxing, and very well equipped. The beach area is lovely and the surrounds are gorgeous, with a great vibe throughout the resort. There are ample loungers, seats and daybeds, so it’s easy to settle in and unwind. There’s also plenty to do both on-site and nearby, including walks and bike rides around Nusa Dua, plus water sports and boat trips close by. The food was excellent too, although a touch pricey. The staff were the best we’ve met anywhere. Friendly, professional, courteous and genuinely lovely; from security at the main gate, to reception, to the butlers, housekeeping, gardeners, maintenance, and everyone in the bars and restaurants. One night I felt unwell and they showed real concern and empathy, wanting to help in any way they could. They brought me honey, fresh ginger and quality tea, which was incredibly thoughtful. A final example of how well they looked after us: our flight home was late in the evening and our villa was booked out that day, so they moved us into a beautiful room for the day at no charge. It made the whole departure day easy and comfortable. It really reinforced what we already believed: the Balinese are wonderful people and generous hosts. We honestly wish we’d stayed for Christmas as well, not just New Year. Next time we will definitely stay longer.

We stayed at The Laguna for 4 nights and 5 days in mid-December for a family vacation, and it was absolutely wonderful.|Everything was excellent—from the room condition to the service provided by all the staff, including the front desk and concierge. Their hospitality was truly touching.||The swimming pool facilities were great, and the staff at the Dream Studio were also very kind and attentive. Breakfast was delicious every day, and among the staff, Mr. Ade truly stood out. He is the best hotelier we have ever met. The various juices he recommended to our family were all amazing.||Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so special. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Recently spent 4 days at Laguna Luxury Resort. My stay was truly exceptional from start to finish. The customer service stood out immediately—every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The buffet offered a wide and bountiful selection of dishes each day. There was something for everyone, with fresh ingredients, great variety, and excellent quality that made every meal enjoyable. Loved the fresh Jamu everyday. The resort itself is stunning, surrounded by lush tropical landscaping that creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Walking through the grounds felt like being immersed in nature, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. Clean beach with plentiful supply of your choice of beach loungers with umbrellas or Sun beds. Overall, Laguna Luxury Resort exceeded my expectations in every way. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality resort experience and would happily return in the future.

Everything was perfect — the room, the staff, the breakfast, and the pool. Special thanks to the staff member who handled my check-in (I sincerely apologize for forgetting her name, but her photo appears in The Laguna Times magazine wearing a kebaya). She provided us with a room arrangement far beyond my expectations — two different room types facing each other. This allowed me to keep an eye on my children without compromising our privacy as parents. The location was also perfect, very close to the pool, the beach, and the restaurants. Due to a delay in room availability during check-in, we were kindly offered a late check-out until around 2 PM, which made our stay much more comfortable. My husband was extremely satisfied with the gym. The gym attendant was very friendly and shared a lot of valuable knowledge about fitness and health, which we truly appreciated. Our children absolutely loved the variety of pools. There were so many options that they never got bored. We also enjoyed spending time at the beach and swimming in the sea, which was very clean and well maintained. We stayed during Christmas, and the hotel prepared so many lovely surprises — from meeting Santa and receiving stuffed toys, to Christmas cake and stockings placed at our door. These thoughtful touches truly made our children very happy. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Thank you, The Laguna.

We booked The Laguna while boarding our flight to Bali and it turned out to be the best decision of our entire trip. Many people have already mentioned the beautiful rooms, the perfect location and the amazing facilities, so I want to highlight something even more special: the incredible staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, welcoming and genuinely thoughtful. It was our anniversary and, even without advance notice, they went above and beyond to surprise us with little treats in our room and thoughtful gestures throughout the resort. I can’t imagine what they would have done if we had told them earlier. A special shoutout to Ade, our waiter at breakfast. His warm energy and local tips made our stay even more enjoyable. He paid attention to the smallest details, from fixing our wobbly table to noticing that I finished my favourite fruit and bringing out more without being asked. We will definitely return and make The Laguna our destination for every future anniversary. It truly made our trip unforgettable!

We stayed at the Laguna in Nusa Dua and went for drinks at the Shappire bag a number of times. We had such a wonderful time at Shappire Bar the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and vibrant, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the evening. The drinks were absolutely fantastic and well made, beautifully presented, and full of flavour.||A special mention to Risma, who truly made the experience unforgettable. She was amazing — friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Her positive energy and professionalism stood out and made us feel so comfortable and well looked after. It’s rare to meet someone who brings such warmth and care to their work, and Risma definitely does.||Thank you, Shappire Bar, for a great experience and thank you Risma we will definitely be back . We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing stay and great drinks to stay at the Laguna and go to the Shappire bar with a lovely atmosphere, and outstanding service.

We had an unforgettable stay at Laguna Luxury in Bali. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The setting of the hotel is absolutely stunning, and the private beach is truly exceptional — a real haven of peace where even little squirrels stop by to say hello. We especially loved the team at the pool house, who are truly dedicated to their work. A special mention goes to Arik, who made our stay even more memorable. He introduced us to the local alphabet, guided us through wood-crafting activities, and constantly shared stories and insights about the local culture — always with a smile and great positive energy. On our last day, he even stayed after his shift to craft a beautiful gift for us out of banana leaves. Another big thank-you to Suwandi, who was extremely kind and helpful. He assisted us in organizing a boat tour and always kept an eye on our belongings. A heartfelt thank-you to the entire pool house team — in such an amazing setting, we naturally chose to spend most of our stay by the beach. Highly recommended! Thanks for your hospitality Teo & Niko
