This beautiful property serves breakfast in its conservatory, overlooking East Hill and the local Catholic and All Saints Churches. The contemporary, stylish rooms at the Laindons are Scandinavian inspired and each has an en suite bathroom. The bespoke beds are created from recycled wood and crafted by local, award-winning craftsmen. All rooms include flat-screen smart TVs and complimentary on-demand movies, free WiFi and free toiletries. A complimentary parking ticket is given to guests valid from 16:00 until 11:00 the next morning in the local public car park. We arrived at Laindons and were immediately welcomed by a lovely member of staff. Once inside our room we didn't want to leave! Pristine clean, beautifully decorated and with many thoughtful touches. I can honestly say we have never stayed in a more perfect place. After a dreamy sleep we were treated to the most delicious breakfast. Wonderful. Bravo Karen, Malcolm and their team for this unforgettable experience.

Wow! We had such an incredible 24 hours at the Laindons. Perfectly situated within the beautiful Hastings old town, from the moment we arrived and were greeted by Natasha we felt welcomed and at home. The interior furnishings are sumptuous with exceptional attention to detail right through the house. Our room (yellow) was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated with a lovely bay window view. The bed was super comfy and the bar was stocked with lots of lovely bits. After a great night’s sleep Sandra’s cooked breakfast was off the scale! Honestly the nicest cooked breakfast I think I’ve ever had. What an absolutely indulgent treat our night here was. Could not recommend this B&B more highly. Definitely worth what you pay for it!

Amazing stay at the Laindons, with impeccable hospitality from the call day before our day until the moment we left. Parking was easy and the Laindons is minutes away. We stayed in the Yellow Room, every item has been carefully chosen with amenities all from local small businesses. Beautiful decor and we had a great night sleep! Breakfast was a stand out, again showcasing local produce and Karen’s expertise. It was a real treat! Thank you so much and we’d love to visit again soon!

Upgrade your trip to Hastings by booking a night or two or three here at The Laindons on the High Street in the Old Town. The rooms are beautifully decorated with heavenly comfortable beds and bedding. The attention to detail is outstanding with a small box of all the little bits and pieces you might need as well as makeup face cloths in the bathroom. A wonderful selection of Tea Pigs and delicious handmade biscuits in the room are complimentary. There is also a small fridge filled with goodies. The communal living room is stunning and is next door to the breakfast room. Breakfast is as you would expect, top rate, with homemade fig jam, fresh hand squeezed orange juice and a delicious variety of dishes. We had the pancakes made with buttermilk - result - light as air. |Cannot fault anything. Thank you Karen and Malcolm for a wonderful stay.

Handily located in the old town Hastings high street, this has been one of the best overnight stays I’ve ever had with my wife. Karen and Malcolm have restored and revitalised a heritage building into a haven of highest quality furnishings, attentive service and delicious food (great breakfast). Every where you look there is another thoughtful surprise. Lots of original art everywhere. You get the feeling that they have spared no expense to create their own dream home and they’re now generously sharing their experience with the general public. Top class experience without a hint of snobbery. Congratulations to them.

I stayed in their Yellow Room for work. It was without question one of the very best places I have stayed - and I travel a lot for work. Beautiful, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches - from the decor to the toiletries, the food and available bar. This place is very special. Classy but understated. The warmth and friendliness of the owners simply underline just how unique this place is. Worth every single penny and situated in the heart of beautiful Hastings Old Town.

I highly recommend this beautiful guest house if you’d like somewhere reasonably priced, welcoming, stylish and comfortable, for a stay in Hastings Old Town. ||The rooms are pristinely clean, gorgeously decorated and furnished, with provisions of a good choice of complimentary teas and coffees. There is an honesty bar (with fridge), alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, chocolate and crisps. ||The breakfast was delicious, included in the price of the room and set us up for the day, we didn’t need to eat until the evening. The table was beautifully laid, the breakfast room was bright and airy with lovely views towards the East Cliff. ||Karen and Malcolm are great hosts. They were so welcoming and have some great stories to tell. ||I bought some of the amazing products they provide for use in the bathroom. Karen is knowledgeable and helped me find the right products for my hair.

What a find! Nestled in the Old Town, this gem provides a calm atmosphere from which to explore the area. Amazing breakfasts, knowledgeable hosts, super comfy beds, you want be disappointed. Lots of extras that make the stay special: beach towels/sea shoes, biscuits, rock and parking voucher for each night of stay.
