Unfortunately, I fell for the AI-generated pictures of the rooms. The pictures of the property looked amazing for the price, until I arrived. Walking down the hallway to my room, I thought I was in "The Shining" and any second, Jack was going to spring out of a corner. The hotel is NOT worth the price whatsoever. I'm sorry to the staff as they were very welcoming, but I have to be honest.
I have stayed in a hotel similar to the Ritz in Europe for this price, and quite honestly feel scammed, luckily it was only 1 night.
The rooms smell musty, AC window unit at least gives you a wonderful white noise throughout the night, definitely not quiet and you need it, I mean, it's August! The bathroom tub had a strange air bubble when you walked on it, and hot water took some time, not to mention converting from tub spout to shower head needed some man-power. Basically felt like staying at a Days Inn while paying Ritz pricing.
They do not clean the rooms, unless you request it by 7PM the prior day because unfortunately they're short on staff, understandable, just letting you know.
Breakfast was buffet only and $27 pp. It was mediocre, $20 would've made sense for what was served.
Also, even though the website does not mention it, they do have a shuttle which not only takes you to the airport, but also has additional beneficial stops to downtown, I wish they had mentioned this as I could have saved some money on Uber.
Bottom line, I assume you're paying for the view which is obviously beautiful if you're a plane-enthusiast.
Message to management, speak with ownership and use some of the cash to update the hotel, it's a beautiful property with a lot of potential.
