The LaLiT Golf & Spa Resort Goa

With a convenient beach access and super huge property area, The Lalit is the most desired place to stay in entire South Goa. Room size is comfortably good with tasty meals especially the breakfast with numerous food items. Overall a pleasant stay, must visit with family.

We have been at The Lalit in South Goa earlier too in Aug 2025. It was a nice experience then too. But this time it felt a bit more warmer than earlier because of this unbelievably helpful and warm Front Office Associate Mr Wandemi Pohlong. ||Everyone gives an attendance, everyone takes a salary, everyone is given a task. But a sea of difference is made for the guest when you see a staff who loves his job. ||The Lalit chain has an asset I must say.

Excellent amenities with great location. Probably one of the largest open area with greenery in any Goa resort that I have been to. The private beach is just few minutes walking. Pool is superb. Golf session was very good and we spent lot of time there. Only thing we didn’t like is the food and the restaurants in the resort. Hence giving it 3 star. Breakfast was below average, hardly few items in ala carte for veg dinner. The quality is below average. Second morning we even saw Crows sitting inside the restaurant on food right when breakfast buffet was about to start. Service is very slow and staff not much interested. So we had to go out for most of our 3 night stays for food. But for amenities and location I will surely recommends this place. But for food I wouldn’t .

This is my fourth time in the resort in the last few years and I travel with my child who is 3 years old as of now. The thing I like about Lalit is the property and the openness along with the beach access. However this time I experienced a few things which was surprising. 1. The staff does not greet you or smile at you when you go for breakfast. The treatment is very cold. 2. When we order food for the child, it takes 45-50 mins minimum and on top of that basic things like roti and white rice are NOT complimentary for kids. Only milk and khichdi is available. We don’t mind paying but then make the portion size available for kids under 5 with basic Indian food. 3. We stay for 6-7 nights and this time as well that was the case. There was nobody from the staff who came to talk to us about feedback or experience with our stay. When we have gone to other 5 star resorts the staff treats you very well regardless of the number of days. Overall I think the warmth of staying in a branded place like Lalit is missing. We have spent a week each year here, it’s one of my favourite places but something feels amiss from a hospitality perspective.

We travelled to celebrate the New Year and stayed from December 30th to January 1st. The location and the resort are excellent. The beach was very clean, and we had a wonderful time enjoying the stay to the fullest. We enjoyed New Year’s party. One area where the resort could further improve is staffing. Having a few more team members could help with smoother operations such as valet parking, escorting guests to rooms, assisting during breakfast service, and ensuring small details—like the availability of spoons near the pancake counter for syrup etc are taken care of. These enhancements would greatly improve the overall guest experience.

We stayed here for 3 days. Room was spacious and beautifully designed for my toddler to play. Staff is good and supportive. Swimming pool is clean and big but they don’t provide tubes which I was needing it for my baby. The best part is they have a private beach almost no crowd so u can enjoy with ur family. Food is ok ok but the serving staff is very polite and supportive. We stayed here for my wedding anniversary so we were out for dinner after we came back there was already a cake on our table with happy anniversary tag.I was so surprised and thankful for making my anniversary special.All over great experience with this property and stay. I’ll like to visit again .

It is an absolute gem in South Goa. The property itself is exceptional—sprawling, green, and incredibly peaceful. ​I particularly loved the old rustic vibe of the rooms; they have a classic, warm character that you just don't get at modern hotels. The beach is pristine and very clean, offering a much more private and serene experience compared to the crowded north. ​To top it off, the food was delicious with plenty of variety. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with a touch of vintage luxury, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Huge property with direct access to beach which is clean and secluded. Gives you the feeling of a private beach. In the mornings you can go for a walk or jog end to end which is about a kilometer long. Beautiful hillocks and lakes at both the ends adds to the charm. Courteous staff always willling to help. Golf carts available to move inside the property. It has its own shack for a great sundowner experience. Huge swimming pool for relaxation. Spa and gym available to keep up your workout regime. Great golf facilities. Having said that, the property has started to look dated now. The sports area needs improvement with no indoor badminton or table tennis facilities. Both of them are outside and its difficult to play in the wind. Billiards not available.
