Returning to The LaLiT Grand Palace Srinagar after nearly 15 years felt special, and the primary reason remains unchanged — the lawn. It is timeless, serene, and endlessly charming, and it continues to be the single biggest reason I would choose to return again.||The hospitality and professionalism of the team were excellent throughout our stay. What the rooms may lack in modernity compared to newer luxury properties in Srinagar, such as the Radisson Collection, is more than compensated for by the warmth and accommodating nature of the staff.||The rooms do feel slightly dated now, and certain elements like rugs and couches could benefit from deeper cleaning or refurbishment. However, this is more a reflection of changing luxury standards than neglect.||A special mention to Mr. Imran, with whom it was a pleasure to have long and engaging conversations — interactions like these add soul to a stay. Best wishes to Mr. Sharma, the GM, for his upcoming book. My thanks also to Mr. Anwar for overseeing service so smoothly.||The food and beverage experience deserves appreciation as well. Mr. Shyaam and Chef Rawat did a splendid job, especially in ensuring comforting meals and thoughtfully accommodating our child’s dietary needs — something families truly value.||Overall, The LaLiT Grand Palace remains an iconic property with an unmatched setting. With its historic charm, magnificent lawns, and gracious service, it continues to hold a special place and gives every reason to return.
