Waitstaff was friendly and eager to serve. Attentive to our drinking needs. Popcorn provided while you wait for your food. The food was quick to come out and hot on arrival. Would definitely recommend the lava cake for the chocolate lovers.

The Service is awesome! The drinks are great, but the food has been absolutely aweful every time I try to give the food a chance, it disappoints. I went in yesterday at 2, ordered French fries, corn nuggets, buffalo dip, a pizza, and firecracker shrimp tacos. The French fries tasted like the oil was 3 days old, my toddler wouldn’t even touch them. The corn nuggets were unappetizing, the shrimp tacos were gross and the buff dip almost made us sick. The pizza was soggy and cold. If they improved on the quality and taste of the food, it would really change the business for the better!

I like this place but something has been bothering me for a bit now... They got new menus a few months back. There's an appetizer- fried cauliflower. It says it's freshly made, hand breaded, or some crap. Which it was. Because as soon as the new menus came out, I ordered it. And it was amazing. The absolute best fried cauliflower I've had. I'm weird and love deep fried vegetables. This was stellar. Large pieces, perfect breading ratio... It was really crazy how amazing they made cauliflower taste. I was so excited to make it one of my new frequently ordered items. But then about a week or two later, It was obvious they'd switched to frozen crap cauliflower bites that look identical to the ones I get at Aldi. Which aren't impressive whatsoever. Anyway I was given some excuse about it. Whatever. But the menu still says it's freshly hand breaded. Which it is most definitely not. I waited a long time to post this, hoping they would rectify it themselves. Like at least have the decency to put a freaking sticker over it so you're not flat out lying. Because at this point, that's what you're doing. In short, the place is great-ish if you can get past the cauliflower lies.

Love this place! Great food, amazing service. The Daytona wings are a must try. Highly recommend the landing.

The Landing in Liberty has done a turn around over the last year or so and it’s great! The atmosphere is great now and so is the service. I had a quesadilla Reuben that was amazing! We also had a nacho dip and a tenderloin that were also delicious. Don’t miss stopping by when you’re in Liberty.

I've been hearing about "The Landing" for a while, so I decided to check it out for myself. Everyone in the Liberty area seems to believe that it represents the culture of the city, and I can confirm it was indeed a cultural experience. While the place wasn't packed, there was a diverse mix of people, including families, solo regulars who always sit in the same seat, and young couples just getting off work. The staff is young and friendly, and it's refreshing to see that they are not distracted by their phones! The portion sizes were quite large, to say the least. I ordered the Bosco Sticks as an appetizer and my custom Caesar Chicken Wrap, but I could barely finish half of it! If the rest of the menu is just as generous and you're a fan of leftovers, you'll definitely be bringing home a full meal. As one of Liberty's staples, I can confidently say I am not disappointed at all!

Last night was our first experience with this eatery and bar, arriving around 7pm. We ate burgers and onion rings, which were great, however, not a hugh fan of the burger meat...not sure of the mix. The service was great, and the waitrsses were killing it - thank you! The open-air atmosphere was great; nice overhead fans. They had a 4 piece band playing at 8 pm, SNAFU, which played fun 70s-90s music, which made the atmosphere even more better than expected. We will go back again!

The vibe is gone, the food doesn’t taste as good, and the whole experience feels like nobody cares anymore. STEVIE IS HORRIBLE! But our server was amazing. Having your servers apologize on behalf of management is very sad. I used to recommend this bar and grill to everyone, but after the last few visits, I won’t be coming back. Bring back the Chico-era quality, because whatever this is now… it’s not it.

This place has a local hang out vibe. It was the end of happy hour on a Friday evening and the place was plucked. The hostess did a great job of managing the crowd and getting everyone seated as quickly as possible. I ordered a Cobb salad and it came fully loaded with a whole bunch of goodness. The grilled chicken was super flavorful. There were plenty of eggs, bacon, avocado, and blue cheese. This may be my new go to for salads.

I give the 4 vs 5 because it is the best place for sports watching and bar food in all of Liberty in my opinion. We have really only tried other places mainly because parking is so hard to come by, the bar area is a part of the outside and smoking is allowed in part of it or at least it smells like it. Kind of a downside. We keep going back because the service is really good, lots of TVs and the food is legit! Plus lots of additional seating and TVs inside. Pictured are the chicken strips they are so good and fresh and plentiful! Reuben's are good and so are the burgers and fries. If it's a nice day and you can find parking, then it's worth a stop and better than anywhere else in the area without a doubt.

Hubby and i went here for lunch today. I had never been. I had the giant tenderloin and seasoned fries, extra crispy. He had the patty melt and tots. We also shared breaded mushrooms. Allllll of our food was great. We can't wait to go back! I want to try the wings next time. The staff were friendly, place was whar you would expect in a sports bar. It was clean and sporty. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Tons of TVs. Fast and friendly service. Always a great atmosphere. The food is consistent and a good price point get the friend mushrooms, you won't regret it.

Service was exceptional! Sat at the bar. Cool place! Food was very good! I had a make your own wrap. Which became a tasty buffalo chicken wrap. My husband had the pig burger. It was loaded with egg, pulled pork, hamburger patty and all the fixin' s. Very glad we took a friend's recommendation to check the Landing in Liberty Mo.

The second visit cause the first one was pretty stellar. This time, I elected not to burn both my mouth and my future bathroom visit by getting the Stoopid burger. Type always have to go twice to get a good feel for a place that you like, and since this place is local, it makes it easy. Thus time I ordered the Mac and cheese brisket sandwich and Holy crap was it good. I am always hesitant to order BBQ of any kind in Kansas city due to the fact that I'm a Tennessee BBQ guy, so giving this a chance was iffy, and thankfully I was proven wrong by at least one place when it comes to BBQ. This thing was so dang good that the parts that fell out becomes the loaded toppings for my seasoned fries and I loved every dang bite. The service was awesome just like last time and the ambiance was as expected. Give this place a try they may not have my favorite import beer but that's what you get for living in this area, and yes I may be a snob but culturally this isn't much of a melting pot.

Sporty vibe! Friendly staff! Good food! This restaurant checks all the boxes! Chris and I had Fried Pickles for appetizers. They came hot, lightly-breaded and packed with delicious sour crunch, it made my mouth water!! We shared a Giant Pork Tenderloin Sandwich with Seasoned Fries and a Cubano with Tots and Chili. The tenderloin was huge and well-seasoned. The Cubano was okay. The Fries were fresh and crispy.

Recently, I met co workers at The Landing in Liberty MO. Shortly after my arrival, I went to the outside bar and ordered a draft beer. It was early, and most likely still reduced prices for Happy Hour. It took a minute but I paid with a twenty and started talking to the men next to me. The bartender returned with my change, $3.50. And she dashed off. After some time, I got her attention, and informed her I gave her a twenty. From that point, I was ignored. I asked to speak with a manager. Not long after, a manager arrived, and began to berate me, yelling and saying I needed to leave. I was sober. She threatened to call the Police, I agreed that may help. The Liberty Police arrived after a good 20 minutes. During our wait, the manager continued to push my with her body in hopes of getting me out of the restaurant. I did not go outside to wait for the police The LPD arrived, immediately sided with the Proprietor, and when I spoke, they threatened. to do a breath test. I said ok, I new I was not intoxicated. I was made to stand in the parking lot for about 30 + minutes. I was forbidden to leave. Not intoxicated, I was told I could not drive nor walk home. I called a friend, per their insistance. I am a 62 year old women and have been a big part of this community for 25 years. Obviously, I will not return to The Landing.

I would probably go 4 stars. I was there on draft night. It was super packed. The staff were working their tail ends off and kept up with the rush. Dispute being so busy we got our food and drinks quickly. We had a beer pretzel and cheese. Nothing super unique about the menu, but there are so many options for appetizers or plates. Fun atmosphere for games.

Came in for Veterans Day since I heard they had a free entree with the purchase of a soft drink. There was a long moustache hair in my tots and I couldn't eat after finding it. Props for the effort, but I just can't eat there after almost ingesting someone else's hair. I do feel kind of shitty since it was a "free meal" but I'm just so turned off by the discovery I can't really say I'd go back

Stopped in here to meet some family and watch basketball. There are plenty of tvs to watch basketball at and plenty of space for large groups. Service was nice and friendly. She even offered my kids quarters out of her tips to play pac man. Beer prices are great for the city and appetizers were tasty. Only reason not giving 5 stars is because I did not eat a full meal there but if I'm back in the area I will return.

One of the best sports bars in Kansas City. You can see at least four TVs from any seat in the place and the menu is fantastic.

When their web site says "We subscribe to every sports package so you can watch your favorite team anytime," they're lying. Wanted to watch an NHL game while I was travelling through and they said "We don't have the right channels for that."

The service is always fast no matter how crowded it is. The place is usually busy and gets quite loud but it's the hangout spot for most folks catching the game, enjoying a drink or looking for a good ol meal. I may be biased since we eat here at least once a week, but this place is a permanent on our roster. My usual is the club sandwich, add avocados with a side of fries and it's never left me unsatisfied. Hits every time. Nothing too fancy but the foods good, the service is excellent, and the drinks are cold!

Great atmosphere, great variety of menu options and the food tastes great. The staff is always very nice, and funny! Great place to watch the game too, lots and lots of tvs in this place.

I was here with a big group on Saturday night and we had a great experience. This place had lots of room and seating options plus a really cool vibe. The drinks were awesome. I had the potato planks and they were delicious, highly recommend. Our server, Erin, took really great care of us. There were a lot of us to manage and she was quick, accurate, and kind. Towards the end of the night when there were just a few of us left she helped make great recommendations and on food and drinks that we liked a lot. Really nice experience here and highly recommend!

Great local sports bar to hang out with friends. Lots of TVs for any sport you want to watch. Huge menu and cold beer. Definitely a family favorite and would recommend win in the Liberty area!

They have some of the best bar food north of the river, the chicken is a mainstay in our house for to-go. It's a madhouse on football game days.

Great local spot for food and drinks. If you are looking for casual, relaxed, Americana food this is is your spot! The portions are average to slightly larger...not huge (which in my opinion is good). Prices are in the "average" range. Quality of food and service is excellent. Love the patio bar area, it is spacious with fans (heaters for later) large screen TVs smoking is allowed (we enjoy cocktails and cigars). Inside dining has a "pub feel". Lots of menu and bar selections. If you're in the mood for an appetizer definitely try the Buffalo Rangoons. The salmon is an awesome entree. Thanks to Makena for the great service!

Let me preface this review by explaining that I am well aware when you are trying to eat as a group of people waiting is required. I am a logical, respectful person that approaches restaurant staff in that manner. First - we called the Landing a week ahead to see if we can get reservations for a group of 10. They explained we could not make reservations unless our group had 20 people. We understood and we came early expecting to wait. We arrived at the landing at 5 o'clock on Saturday. Informed them we have a group of 10 and understood there would be a wait. The hostess and manager spoke us like we were idiots for coming in with such a large group. Continue to explain to us how restaurants work where we will have to wait for people to leave to create a large table for us. I bit my tongue when I really wanted to say "no sh*t, Sherlock". There was actually 3 tables open for them to push together for us but they chose not to do that. We will revisit this at the end. After letting them know that we actually went to school and weren't dumb that we would like to put our name down. 30 minute wait. They took my name and phone number. We went to the bar in the other room to get drinks while we waited. To our shock there was a table that held 8 of us while we waited. We ordered drinks and the waitresses were great. After 45 minutes of no information we went to the hostess to make sure they didn't forget about us. On the list they were upwards of 15 4-person groups they had sat ahead of us (they use a list and mark people off, clear to see). Said they were getting to us and would call the number as they previously instructed us. Once again being rude. We decided to eat in the outdoor bar. Even though some would have to eat standing up we were running out of time as we needed to be at a concert shortly. At 7 o'clock they called to tell us they had a table ready. Two hours. Two hours of them setting people ahead of us and intentionally skipping over us. All while treating us like we were idiots they didn't understand how this works. By both the manager and the hostess staff. To add insult to injury when we walked out the same tables were sitting empty that they could've sat us at in the very beginning. Plenty of tables were available before they called us. Instead of giving them one star I will give them two. Because the staff in the back were amazing, never treated us rudely. And the food was good regardless of the experience. Beers were a great price as well. If you think this review is unfair please look through my past reviews to see I rarely give negative reviews.

Late night on a Sunday, stopped in for a quick Tank 7 in a bottle and some Buffalo sliders. For it being past 9pm on a Sunday I was impressed Service was quick and precise. When you walk in there is another bar area to you left with outdoor seating and there was a band playing which was also surprising on Sunday.

Great food & atmosphere. Local liberty gal & my family & I have been coming to the landing for years. You wont regret it!

Visiting in town for work and thought we'd try this place. Wasn't impressed with the server. She had zero menu knowledge and wasn't able to make any recommendations. Got the impression she didn't eat any of the food here. Ordered the Cheese Curds as an App for the table but they brought out Mozzarella sticks pretending to be cheese curds. Coming from WI you can't fool me. Dinner was the pit BBQ Mac n Cheese very tasty and a filling meal. Great portion size Would have liked to see the server more to keep drinks filled. Overall it's ok, worthy of the 3 stars they appear to average.

We came with 11 and they sat us at 3 tables. We went and put our name on the waitlist to wait for a large table. A large table came available, Leonard the manager, came and was extremely rude to us. He talked down, told us to "stay in our seats", and was aggressive/condescending. As we're leaving, he was arguing with us.

Great apps and food. One exception was the burger patties were just "meh". I ordered a double and it was big, but the meat tasted generic. The staff was great. The fried pickle chips were phenomenal.

It is a good sports bar if you want to catch a game, The pizza and the fried pickles were really good. My friends have also enjoyed their wings, burgers and sandwiches. I have been here on multiple occasions. Most of the time I come to listen to live music. They do have live music both inside and a covered outdoor area. Only downside for me personally for the outdoor area is people are allowed to smoke. So when there are a lot of people there it can get really smokey.

Have been going here forever but things have changed. Wanted some of their delicious honey bbq wings for Mothers Day with my son. They had a runny watery sauce poured on them and laying in the bottom. I asked for blue cheese to dip and What I got was ranch. They swore it wasn't ranch. My son got a bacon burger and the bacon was not cooked well and he had to take it off. The waitress didn't come back till we were almost done eating. Trouble getting a refill. Plus the prices have gotten ridiculous. Probably won't go back

I am a huge fan of the burgers at The Landing, and the fry rubbed wings are on a whole other level of awesome! You have to give the kitchen a little extra time for dry rubbed wings but I can honestly say I have never found another wing that was worth the wait like these are! Must try for sure.

Service was terrible and it wasn't super busy. Servers acted like it was an inconvenience to order beer. One server put a shot down for my friend who did not see her coming and accidentally spilled it and the server said she would get her another one and then charged her for it without even asking. Then server added random drinks to all our tabs and when we tried telling her she said she couldn't fix it on the machine and the manager got in our face and started yelling at us so we had to pay the tab anyways. 3 beers and 2 shots were $78.

Had the pleasure of eating here on Aug 25th and while the food was very good as usual, this review is more about the service. As a double amputee unfortunately I presented the staff with the unpleasant experience of watching me fall as the restaurant was very busy. I was very impressed and appreciative of the response. Instead of displaying frustration the staff and patron teamed up to assist me getting to my feet. To say they went above and beyond is a tremendous understatement. I am so humbled and appreciative of this restaurant!

If you cld give an eating place negative stars i wld! the menu looked great we were excited, but then the food came out. i got a Club sandwich and it looked and tasted like they went to dollar tree and threw a sandwich together! my husbands french dip was basically on a hot dog bun, no flavor and way too chewy. The fried pickles might as well have been battered in salt. The Summer Shandy beer he ordered tasted like a halfass BudLight Lime. I NEVER complain about anything but being charged $50 for a horrendous meal is insane to me! I am so disappointed after getting food poisoning from another local "hot spot" a fee weeks ago just to go in here bc the place is always packed and it be so friggin bad!!!! At least attempt to make the food according to the menu!

Food was good for bar food, including meatless options which was fantastic to see! Average beer selection- don't expect craft beers here but decent choice of domestics. Good place to watch the game- lots of TVs, and really no bad seat to get a good view. My big complaint: we had a group of 45 people and had called a month in advance and talked to the manager, and were told they don't do reservations for band nights, but they suggest we arrive a few hours early to "save enough tables." We arrived a couple hours early to find that they had allowed not just one but TWO reservations of large groups, and the manager then told us we weren't able to save tables when this was exactly what he had suggested prior to us making our group of 45 aware that this was our party place. Fine bar to go to with friends but definitely don't recommend them for a group- they were surprisingly unaccommodating considering the revenue we brought them from our large party.

Got my order wrong again, as usual. I come into this place on a regular basis. Spend a ton of cash there and they regularly mess up my to-go orders. Be wary of this place if you get to-go food. They WILL MESS IT UP.

Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and sat at the outside bar. Service was phenomenal and the food is pretty good. This was my second time visiting this establishment and both times were fun. I'll keep coming back when I'm in the area.

I don't make it to Liberty very often but when I do I've been to The Landing during several trips. It's always been good and has a good atmosphere and a large patio outside. On this visit I had one of their "mystery beers" from the tap. Basically they pick random beers and sell them for $2. Pretty cool idea! To eat I had the chicken fried steak which was very good.

Got some of the worst service I've actually ever had anywhere this morning. Slow, we had to constantly search for our waitress, that we had to call over multiple times. Foods great and I come here often but service today was HORRIBLE in the dining room side.

Good prices and great wings. Went one night after work and had some drinks and food. The wings were delicious and meaty. Just like I like em. Our server was attentive and the bartender Corey was a beast! Great establishment. There was a live band on the patio but we did not partake. The good thing about this place is its so big we were able to enjoy our food and conversation without being drowned out by the band.

Really enjoyed the food and drinks, a tad loud but it is a pub after all. 5 for Samantha she handled a very busy night and a new cash register program like a real champ, kudos. A real keeper in my humble opinion!

Tucked away into the back section of a non descript strip mall, this place is a large bar geared towards live music and cheap beer. Walking in to meet friends, my suspicions were reinforced, with the slight stickiness of everything, a slight spilled beer smell in the air and lots of blond oak high tops. We sat down and our server appeared to be underage and not too familiar with the bar offerings or the food, but she tried her best. So after a couple of mild light American lagers, I was ready for food and started perusing the menu. Trust me when I say I had low expectations, so I landed on Chico's Wings. They are described as loaded with a secret rub and grilled to order. Alas, they were out of them at 6:00 PM on a Saturday night. Bloodied, but unbowed, I moved on to the Giant Pork Tenderloin. I was not disappointed, in fact it was a surprisingly good tenderloin, excellent really. Oversized, flavorful breading with a healthy dose of garlic, generous piece of pork, highly recommend this sandwich to you! Oddly, they don't serve it with pickles or onion, but I asked and received said condiments. Fries are from the bag and nothing special, so have an extra beer instead. Yum!

Jalapeño poppers were greasy and burned to the point I should have returned them. 5 poppers were $12.00. Prices really went up. I won't be ordering those again. That said, the black and blue burger made everything better. It's amazing. Service was good.

If you have never been to The Landing, it's a great place to watch a game, have a small group get together or grab a quick bite. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Tv's everywhere, great happy hour ( even on Saturday!). The food is consistent, fair priced and good portion. The menu has a vast variety of options. The service was good...the waitress had many tables and was hustling but still managed to be attentive to us

Favorite bar around. Awesome atmosphere and lots of TVs with sports packages. The live music is always good. Never had a bad meal there either. Beer comes in those extra large take home cups, that's always a plus.

Stopped in to eat after furniture shopping with my wife. She ordered a panini and I had the chicken wings. Both meals were very good, and the waitress was very friendly and took great care of us. I would highly recommend them. They have lots of tvs and you can either sit inside or in their open air room.

THE BEST HAPPY HOUR AROUND! Two for one drinks and cheap appetizers. Atmosphere: typical bar but larger. Great indoor space and over the summer they have a good open area with fresh area. Only down side is that sometimes there are smokers out there. Service: it's always been good. We've been many times over the years and have not had a bad service experience. Food: they have changed up their menu over the last year as it's good! Great nachos. My fave are the Italian nachos. Potato skins are good too! Drinks: always good. I have never had a bad drink here.
