The place is amazing close to the sea and excellent breakfasts. The staff members are very good, the ticket to the room did not work and Sheena immediately came to help. Very nice and friendly and tolerant. I enjoyed it very much and definitely recommend it🙏🏼

This was a great stay and we will for sure stay again, as our connection to future cruises. Since we cruise three times a year we come often and we have been looking for something with feng shui and truly nice and this hotel tops it. I did read a review mentioning firm pillows, however, our pills were not. The bed was far out comfortable and the tv was great with Channels!

Perfect location in walking distance from Bal Harbour shoppes, and steps away from the corner Pura vita cafe. Quiet and great for for business trips. Excellent service. Osiel at the front desk is so helpful.

I stayed at this hotel recently and overall had a good experience. It’s located in a very central area, which was super convenient, and for the location, the price was very reasonable. The front desk staff during the morning and afternoon shifts were extremely friendly and helpful, which made check-in smooth and pleasant. The room was in great condition and quite comfortable. While the bathroom could have been cleaner, it wasn’t terrible — just not spotless. Considering the price and location, it was still a good value. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room, but even without it, the stay was decent. Also, the room didn’t have any bad smells, which I really appreciated. Overall, I’d stay here again if I need something affordable and well-located.

The service I received was amazing. Staff was always nice and friendly. Every time I needed something, they were able to accommodate. Housekeeping did an awesome job in refreshing my room. Location was nice, even though I didn't experience much of it. Now the room. Nice size, very clean but I didn't like that there weren't any plugs by the bed. And the AC was closer to the foot of the bed than the head. Just my preference. Would have been nice if the room had blackout curtains instead of shades. Bed was a little too firm for me but was still bearable. If you looking for great service and housekeeping, then this is the hotel for you, but if you want a room where you actually control when the sunlight comes in or you got to have plugs by the bed or the AC isn't hitting you right, this hotel is not for you. I'm a room person, so I more than likely wouldn't stay again, but everything else was amazing

Location is amazing. Close the beach, and great food and shopping. The hotel and room smelled amazing and were spotless. Staff was so accommodating and pleasant. My only complaint is personal preference: I'm a light sleeper and could hear everything going on in other rooms and in the hall. Also the showers were hard to figure out and didnt get hot. Other than that though this place was very nice.

The Landon is a true hidden gem in North Miami! From the moment we checked in, the experience exceeded all expectations. Felis, the front desk manager, deserves special recognition—his warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality went far beyond anything we’ve ever experienced at a boutique hotel. He made us feel completely at home. The hotel itself is beautiful: the rooms are stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The price point is very reasonable for the level of quality and service you receive. And the icing on the cake? It’s literally next door to my favorite restaurant in the world, The Palm. If I could give The Landon ten stars, I would. A perfect stay in every way—I can’t recommend it highly enough!

I booked this hotel a couple of weeks ago in an occasion of a family’s reunion. My wife and me decided to make a reservation near the area due the quiet neighborhood and what a surprise!: This is a very cozy and great little hotel with an excellent service and staff. I am pretty sure the management is very knowledgeable and qualified cause the hotel is organized and the staff is very attentive and helpful. Rooms are clean and the housekeeping always helpful. The breakfast area is quite small but cute, clean and I do appreciate there is always coffee 24 hours! Thanks. I will book this hostel again. There are great restaurants in the area and next door one, The Palm is excellent! Another thing is the hotel has a parking and is free! Good deal. I recommend The Landon 100%!

Beyond DISGUSTING! Torn carpet, torn wallpaper, paint chipping, mold in the shower and filthy. Left immediately after I walked into the room. I was told that night that Amanda , the manager, would contact me about a refund. That never happened. Called her several times and no call back. No idea who is writing these fake reviews!!

I needed a place to stay with my dog for a few days in Miami Beach. When I saw the LANDON on bookings.com and all its great ratings, I was in. The location was perfect for what I needed. Do not let the reviews on google and bookings.com lead you to believe you are booking a great hotel, you are not. The lobby is nice but once you leave the lobby it becomes dirty and ugly. The halls are carpeted and smell! I will never understand why heavy traffic areas use carpet? Once I entered my room, i was greeted with the staggering smell of Lysol. The carpet was ripped and dirty, the bathroom had mold in the shower, the walls were cracked and had caulking to try to correct the flaws. No hangers in the closet I asked for some never recieved them, also no extra toilet paper. I had to go to the front desk for that. I would have left but I was with my dog and it's not easy to find a place that will take dogs. So i bought a candle and some Lysol SPRAY and soldiered thru. My room window was to a parking lot which was very noisy, as was the room above me; creaking from walking people all the time. I believe this room was for staff and they used it a lot and at odd hours. I did cut my time short and checked out early. I did what I needed to do the days prior so I checked out early. I could not wait to get out of that room, it was unbearable. The only thing good I can say about this place is its location. A lot of shops, dining, and the beach is very close. This place is in need of a refurbishment.

Beautiful place, friendly and helpful staff. I had read many not-so-good reviews, but my daughter was having surgery and this place was recommended as it was nearby. I'm glad I didn't believe the other reviews. Besides being cozy, the decor was a visual feast. I'm a person who uses a wheelchair and when after a few days, as luck would have it, the lift decided not to function, the staff went out of their way to help me with the half dozen stairs to the first floor. Not being too savvy with the whole Door Dash, Uber eats delivery, Amazon whole foods delivery stuff, the staff helped me learn the new skill set, patiently walking me through the process: much needed as I couldn't leave my daughter alone and we were to stay a whole 10 days. I will definitely stay here again! And will recommend it to whomever might be traveling to the area.

The pictures look nice but don't let that fool you. There is a reason they only have pictures of the front of the hotel. The sides and back of the hotel look like it's an abandoned old building. I walk in and the front looks nice so I decide to give it another chance (in my mind). We get to our room, and everything looks put together. When I go to wash my hands the water immediately starts building up. I have to use the sink quickly before it can overflow and I have to wait for it to go down. Then I went to shower and the floor of the shower was disgusting. Then when going to bed I look closer at the bed sheets and they look dirty. My husband always checks for bed bugs in any hotel and in the process he discovered that the mattress protector was broken and they didn't even have proper bedding. They used a flat bed sheet as a fitted bed sheet and put the decor comforter right on top. I usually never use the comforter at hotels but I had to or I would have nothing to cover my body. We woke up to bug carcass looking things on our bed and we immediately got up and left. The breakfast was only cereal and bread. Spent $290 for one night. I have been to MUCH nicer places for way less. Never again ! I am giving it 2 stars because they tried with the indoor decor. That was the only positive thing.

We stayed here last weekend. The hotel was beautiful and in a convenient location with free parking and a complimentary HAPPY HOUR seven days a week lol. VERY cool, chill place to stay. I loved the decor but MOST of all, we received really incredible service from Felix and Madelyn! They were awesome!!! Very kind and hospitable.

First I want to say that I travel extensively and have never had a nightmare experience like The Landon Hotel which I found on Expedia. It seemed to have reviews that were descent. So this is my experience. I take an UBER to the hotel. No one is in the front as far as making sure guest are arriving with luggage until you literally enter inside. But the worst part is the 1st day I get there, they get this "bellhop kid' to take me upstairs with all my luggage and there is no elevator. The bell hop takes me through the back stairway "because' it's a short cut. The stairway look like you may bump into a rat. I was like "Is this the way to get upstairs?" He says, No but it's a short cut. Not a good 1st impression. So okay, he drops my stuff in the room where I had 2 pieces of luggage, My huge tote bags, purse and cabana hat. I went outside afterwards to buy dinner. I come back 40 minutes later eat dinner then go to bed. Next day I get ready then I'm looking for my cabana hat ...valued at $200. Gone. Mind you it was there last night. I go to the manager and speak with him and he said he would investigate and get back to you. Fine. I went to meetings and see he texted me called him several times no answer. I arrive to the Hotel and they say, Mam, we will have to switch your room due to the lock and reader which "broke' during our investigation of seeing who went into the room. How convenient. I went upstairs to my room and they had this guy that seemed to be "security" and my door was open. I had my friend on video as a witness. I then packed all my stuff and had to take all my luggage and items to my other room. I would not recommend ANYONE staying here. Totally a night mare. The rooms stink. They are not clean. Awful. Service from start to finish was not good. Ultra rude manager, lack of management and professionalism. Completely unacceptable; hospitality?? Yeah right, what a joke. Don't even think to stay in this place, a nightmare.

SCAM ALERT. Booked reservation through Priceline and drove 5 hours to celebrate Valentines Day at this spot and we show up and front desk says that our reservation has been canceled and they have no rooms. Called Priceline to explain as they had taken out the money to pay and they state that hotel was oversold and would not honor our reservation. Then takes Priceline over 3 hrs to call us to say they would refund or get us another hotel. Clearly, hotel flipped our room as we were at a lower price point. BUYER BEWARE. It is Miami but this tops it all. Never again for this hotel and making it my mission to make sure as many people are aware of this as possible...SCAM SCAM SCAM.

It has come to my attention that this hotel has recently change their rates, but those are rates they're already agreed to previously. When asked why this was happening to mainly members of the LGBTQ community, I was told that they "couldn't offer any help to your organization"... The Landon is changing the rates, after being booked in advance! This is especially detrimental to those who are visiting the hospital that is a 5 minute walking distance, which is a requirement... So if your loved ones are looking to have gender reassignment surgery in the Miami area, or really any kind of surgery, I would stay away from this place... and just to mention, the manager hung up on me twice, just for asking questions about the rate changes... They knew exactly who I was talking about

It's a small hotel, however it's very clean! And the staff was so nice and accommodating. Feliciano, the front desk man was so sweet and hospitable! He made the experience staying at the Landon nothing short of amazing. There are other nice hotels on this strip but the customer service was 5 star. Definitely would come back!

I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews on here for this hotel. I stayed here after a terrible night of being held hostage in someone's airBNB and this was our safe haven. I am from California and was traveling with my mother to have plastic surgery and thought I could save money by getting an Airbnb and I was extremely wrong. The hotel was able to take us in after breaking out of the Airbnb in the middle of the night. Randal was extremely hospitable and compassionate with our situation and was even able to price match us with the Expedia pricing. For all the hotels in this area, this is one of the nicer ones! Only downside was it took a long time for hot water in the shower but the beds were really comfy so that's makes up for the wait. Again, we received the best customer service from Randal and am so grateful for him. A lot of the people we have had to deal with in Miami so far have NOT been nice but he was very welcoming and he made us feel very safe in our decision to choose this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and were totally dissatisfied. No housekeeping service (or towels) the entire 3 days, wi-fi signal would disappear 70% of the time, and the walls are paper-thin, allowing you to hear everything your neighbors do. The first two days the key card access did not work and we had to wait for the one person at the front desk to finish helping other guests in order for them to let us in to our room. Adding insult to injury, they added an $18 per day amenity fee to the bill. This fee was not disclosed when I made the reservation. I emailed the manager asking for a credit of the amenity fee and never even received the courtesy of a reply.

My experience at The Landon: Before arriving, a reservation was made and confirmed using a company card. Upon arriving after many travel hours, feeling exhausted, I checked in with Braulio. He was unable to locate the payment using the hotel point of sale system. After spending about 1/2 at the check-in desk, he more or less explained that I didn't have a place to stay. Apparently this is a typical occurrence as you will discover by reading other reviews about "The Landon". (How many guests have been unexpectedly turned away after receiving confirmation but didn't write a review?) Fortunately, I had just enough in my personal account to book 1 night for myself. I paid in full for a room. I also paid an additional $15.00 for parking. I knew there would be an additional expense for parking. But I wasn't told upon booking was that there would be no parking. I had no alternative than to park in the lot behind the building about a block away. I carried my belongings from the back lot and dragged everything up 2 flights - no elevator. This was ok for me but could be difficult for others. People should be informed up front. After getting the room, I was going informed by Braulio that the error was discovered and my personal card could be refunded. I asked if the refund would post right away since the transaction took place the same day. He explained that he didn't know how to refund the total amount and that it would post within a day and a half. He offered to give the information to the manager the next day ensured me everything would be corrected. At this point I thanked him for his effort. I understood that he just might be new and unfamiliar with the hotel system for payment. Maybe it was due to a lack of training. He offered me a receipt shower MG what was to be refunded. He asked me if I would call the manager the next day. I agreed. This is where the customer service disappears: I was told the manager would be in the next day. This did not turn out to be the case. I left a message for Amanda, the manager, to contact me. After another day and a half, after receiving no refund, I called for Amanda again. I was told she would not be there until the next morning. Just in case, I wrote an email to info@...and Amanda with a copy of the receipt and a request to provide a status or process my refund. I received zero replies to either email. I called the next morning and asked for Amanda as I was told she would be there. This was not the case. It was explained that she would arrive in the afternoon. I called in the afternoon. I spoke with an employee that placed me on hold for Amanda. After 20 minutes, I hung up and called back. I was placed on hold for another 10 minutes. I hung up and called back again. This time - NO ANSWER. I called back again using another phone number - surprise! The employee picked up. At this point it was obvious that I was being ignored. At this point all I want is a refund that I was promised. In most cases where someone receives poor service, it's not necessarily intentional or malicious. In this case, "The Landon" made errors due to a lack of training, however; management is fully aware and has made the decision not to take the steps necessary to correct the situation by avoiding it entirely.

Front desk was nice, but hotel room was not clean. Found a dead mosquito, other peoples hair, a used tooth brush, mold and dirt in the hair dryer, grease on the lamps, used tissue paper with black stuff on it. Promised me a refund and confirmed through booking.com but they went past the allotted period to give the refund. Offered me another room and said I can check before I stay, but cmon, as a hotel, paying around 200-300 USD a night, NOT the consumers duty to book a stay and hope it's clean, as well as it isn't our job to check for cleanliness, it is expected. This shouldnt be an issue for a hotel charging at this rate. You don't go to a restaurant and check for hair in the food, it is expected that it's prepared clean. When offered a new room, to be honest, who would want to move? Might as well find somewhere else. If you find unsanitary things in your food at a restaurant, you wouldn't be ok with them just remaking, just leave. Wouldn't recommend this place. Please don't come. Also seems kind off when owners dont let you post pictures.
