The Langham Gold Coast

We stayed at the Langham recently and it is such a beautiful hotel. The hotel is very clean and luxurious which I loved being someone who doesn’t often treat myself to beautiful stays. The pool area was amazing, I really loved the layout however I did note other guests would set up a spot for the whole day and would come and go throughout the day… at times their belongings would be on the seats for 3 hours at a time whilst they were out and about. It made it hard to get a spot at times. I think it would be great for staff to monitor this. The service was mostly good especially at the buffet breakfast, they were so so lovely. The receptionist area service was mostly okay. Our tag wouldn’t work on day 3 and we went to reception where three young ladies were standing each at a desk and we waited 5-10 seconds before we were acknowledged. It gave us the feeling none of them wanted to be the ones to serve us. The rooms were clean and very beautiful. The air con didn’t have a vent in the bedrooms so we had to blast the air con and leave the door open however other than this, we loved the decor and cleanliness. The facilities are all fantastic, I couldn’t fault them. Thank you for a beautiful stay and we will certainly be back.

Most amazing experience. Being a seasoned traveler and doing extensive research before I book accommodation, the Langham did not disappoint. Everything was immaculate from arrival to departure. The concierge greeted us when arrived unloaded bags from car - offered valet or free parking onsite. Our bags were delivered to our room. Check in was amazing. Beautiful reception area and decor, beautiful scents. There is an amazing outdoor pool with pool bar, as well as well as an indoor pool and a huge gym overlooking the gym (best hotel gym, everything you need), a sauna, separate workout studio, a spa offering massages, facials etc. The hotel rooms all have sea views, huge room, beautiful huge bathroom - rainfall head, and beautiful separate large bath. Gorgeous bar in the room as well as separate seating area. The hotel sits right on the beach - its actually on Broad Beach - which is nicer than Surfers Paradise. The service was 10/10 so attentive and never had to follow up about everything. I would definitely stay again and would recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay! The hotel was spotless, the rooms were comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special mention to Ilija, the waiter at the pool — he was absolutely amazing! So kind, attentive, and made every moment by the pool feel special. His service truly stood out and made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!

We recently stayed at the Langham Gold Coast and found it to be an outstanding experience and I would highly recommend. The service was faultless, very attentive. The hotel itself is stunning, very clean and well maintained. We stayed in the Junior Ocean Suite and it was beautiful, with a stunning unrestricted view of the ocean. The room is a very good size, bathroom beautiful with large bath. The room service menu is extensive and room service very prompt. The buffet breakfast would have to be the best I have had, very rarely can you find an outstanding buffet with fresh food and lots of options. The indoor pool and gym is lovely as well as the outdoor pool and access to the beach. We also had a couples massage at Chaun spa which is beautiful and massage was perfect. It’s in an amazing location with nothing to fault. Highly recommend.

The Langham Gold Coast has all the ingredients to be a true luxury destination — the setting, the facilities, the name. But right now, the service simply does not measure up. We have stayed at many five-star hotels in Australia, and sadly this experience did not compare. Hearing other guests at the pool comment, “It’s not like we’re at the Ibis”, really summed up the feeling that expectations weren’t being met. For families, the comfort and views may still make this an option, but unless service standards and attention to detail improve, it’s difficult to recommend The Langham Gold Coast as a five-star luxury holiday Cons: • Housekeeping: Cleaning was consistently late, often not arriving until after 5:00pm, which made it difficult to manage around young children. For those staying in the residences, note that these are treated more like serviced apartments — room service and cleaning are only provided every second day. • Service: Across the board, service felt slow and disorganized. At the pool, it took around 30 minutes to be served at the bar, and when food arrived it was cold with missing items. On arrival, despite traveling with three children and luggage, there was no bell service available to help us. • Pool area: The pool loses sun by midday, which is worth noting if you’re expecting long sunny afternoons. The pool itself also could have been better maintained; almost every morning we noticed bandaids and hair ties in or around the water, which was disappointing. • Room issues: One of our bedroom windows would not close properly, making the room very noisy at night Pros: • Beautiful views from the rooms and balconies. • Convenient location for both Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach.. • The breakfast buffet was generous and enjoyable

Absolutely stunning hotel! It was so luxurious, everything was so well thought out and our ocean view room was incredible. Very specious, large covered balcony, the bed and pillows were fabulous. Easily one of the most luxurious hotels we've ever stayed in, and it's worth paying for the buffet breakfast.

First time at the Langham Gold Coast and it was absolutely amazing. Have stayed at a number of there 5 star accommodations around the world and this I would definitely say this was one of the best. One of the highlights of my visit was indulging in a massage at the hotel’s spa. It was truly wonderful—calming, expertly performed, and incredibly relaxing, leaving me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The spa facilities were luxurious, adding an extra layer of pampering to my experience. The hotel’s restaurants deserve special mention. Each meal was a culinary delight—delicious, beautifully presented, and made from fresh, quality ingredients. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every dish was satisfying and flavorful. I also tried the cocktails at the bar, which were simply amazing—creatively crafted, perfectly balanced, and served with style. The Jacuzzi was another fantastic feature—soothing and spacious, offering a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking views. Throughout my stay, the staff across all departments—from the friendly cleaners to the attentive restaurant and bar staff—went above and beyond to ensure I had an exceptional experience. Their warm, professional approach made everything feel seamless and personal. Overall, my experience at the Langham Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. From luxurious amenities and delicious cuisine to outstanding service and relaxing spa treatments, every aspect was thoughtfully curated for comfort and enjoyment. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-end, memorable getaway in Gold Coast. I can't wait to return!
