The Langham, Jakarta

As a new Brilliant member, my recent stay at the Langham Jakarta was nothing short of spectacular. Despite holding statuses at other major hotel chains, I decided to give the Langham a try and it did not disappoint in the slightest. I stayed in a Club Executive room, which comes with an array of exceptional club benefits that truly elevate the entire experience into something far more personal and refined. From the moment I arrived, I was deeply appreciative that my room was already ready for me, allowing for a seamless and welcoming start to my stay. The heart of the experience was undoubtedly the Club Langham lounge. The service here was truly superb and redefined the meaning of modern hospitality. The team, specifically Agatha, Jonathan, and Alexander, were phenomenal and operated with a level of grace and proactive care that made every visit feel like returning to a private, sophisticated residence. I also wanted to extend my apologies for forgetting the name of another wonderful lady staffer with long hair. She completely gets me on a fashion level after her lovely comments about my fluffy shoes and my gd plushie, which made the service feel so much more genuine and relatable. Having a dedicated concierge number to reach out to via mobile was also INCREDIBILY convenient, and I was consistently impressed by how prompt and professional the team was with every request. The food and beverage offerings within the lounge were equally amazing, providing a refined and delicious sanctuary throughout the day. On my final day, I finally had the opportunity to try out the breakfast service at Club Langham, and I can see why the Club Lounge benefit is truly something that one should look forward to. The room itself was simply amazing, being both immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed. I was touched by the welcome amenities, which included a selection of fresh fruits and pastries; a really sweet and thoughtful gesture that made me feel valued from the start despite being a new member at their chain. The housekeeping team was prompt and exceptionally attentive; I want to give a special mention to Zelley, who noticed my setup and even provided cable ties for my cable management, a level of observant detail that speaks volumes about their service standards. The culinary experience outside the lounge was also impressive, as breakfast at Tom’s was spectacular. I particularly looked forward to my delightful ritual of post-meal ice cream after breakfast every morning. To top it all off, the pools and gym facilities were top-notch and provided the perfect environment to unwind. Oh, and I also like to add that one of the most impressive aspects of the service was how the staff consistently addressed me by name. It was remarkable to be recognized and greeted personally even by team members I hadn’t officially met yet; that level of coordination and attention to detail really makes you feel like a truly valued guest rather than just another room number. If I had to find one small blemish in an otherwise perfect stay, it was the wait for the porter, but this was a small shortcoming in the context of such high standards. All in all, this was a flawless stay that exceeded my expectations and I look forward to returning soon. Thank you, Langham Jakarta!

Beautiful property (honestly i think it's kinda hard to beat in Jakarta), great location you're literally at the center of jkt's business district (Ashta mall's next door, pacific place a few minutes away walking), great service and super friendly staff - shoutout to Eric from the restaurant Tom Aikens. The room was spotless clean, felt fresh, the bed was among the best I ever tried, better than most 5 stars I went to, the towels felt premium and still like new, the japanese sensor toilet seemed a little disjointed but really cool with unbeatable features. Beautiful, chic restaurants, although the wagyu classic steak was quite underwhelming (I wasn't lucky enough I got dry, overcooked steak, despite my request for medium rare and extra caution no overcooked, with a little too much salt), the pasta was great, fresh and hand-cut, with creamy truffle sauce, desserts also nice (i loved how the tiramisu was prepared, fresh and creative) the house cocktail was good. Breakfast was really worth it - great value, pastries were really good.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at The Langham. The hotel feels luxurious, with elegant marble finishes from floor to ceiling. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the bed provided an excellent night’s sleep. Service was top-notch — the staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Breakfast was decent but could be improved. The menu remains the same, which may feel repetitive for longer stays. The buffet live counter area was also quite cramped, making it difficult to move around, especially during busy weekend mornings. It felt a bit claustrophobic when crowded. Location-wise, we loved that the hotel is centrally located in the SCBD area and conveniently situated right next to Ashta Mall.

The Langham Jakarta is hands-down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life. It’s hard to put into words just how spectacular the service is at this property. The rooms are absolutely beautiful with stunning huge window views of the district. The Japanese-style toilet is such a nice luxury. It literally greets you as you approach it by raising the lid. Make sure you check the back of the remote because it also offers a heated seat, though mine was off by default. The standout service at the hotel made our stay exceptional. The staff remember your name and offer to help with everything from carrying your bags to helping you pack and unpack your luggage. The Concierge even walked me and my colleague to the nearby mall because we told them we wanted to go shopping. That’s going the extra mile. The food at the hotel is also spectacular, with the pastries in the breakfast restaurant being a stand out for me. You must try the pain au chocolat and blueberry cream-filled croissant. We also really enjoyed the Japanese restaurant for their wagyu. This was my first time staying at The Langham and I will absolutely be back. I can’t recommend it enough.

I stayed at The Langham Jakarta for a one-night friends staycation, and overall the experience was very positive, especially once we settled in. That said, the arrival experience slightly affected my first impression. Upon arrival at the ground floor (before reaching the lobby), the atmosphere felt unexpectedly hectic. There were many staff members moving around at the same time and approaching us in a rushed manner. We were directed to the security scanner, then immediately asked again about our purpose and whether we needed assistance, even though it was clear that we were checking in. At one point, our luggage was taken through a different door without prior explanation, which added to the confusion. When I asked for a luggage trolley, one staff member left, another took over, escorted us briefly to the lift, handed over the trolley, and left almost immediately. The frequent staff changes, hurried movements, and lack of clear coordination made the arrival feel chaotic and unpolished. Additionally, for a hotel of this luxury level, I was surprised that there was no welcome drink or snack offered—something that is often provided even at less luxurious hotels. Overall, this ground-floor experience did not reflect the calm, refined welcome one would expect. Once we reached the lobby, the experience improved significantly. The check-in process was smooth, and the receptionist was professional, clear, and pleasant. Communication via WhatsApp and phone calls with the receptionist was excellent throughout the stay—responses were fast, helpful, and timely whenever we needed assistance. The room itself met and even exceeded expectations. We had a beautiful city skyline view, an elegant and well-designed interior, and a pristine bathroom. The amenities were impressive and thoughtfully curated, adding to the overall luxury feel. Breakfast ordered through in-room dining was delicious, well presented, and arrived on time, making for a very enjoyable start to the day. The swimming facilities were a mix of highlights and minor drawbacks. The outdoor pool was fantastic, especially at night with its stunning SCBD skyline view, and truly enhanced the stay. However, the indoor pool felt somewhat enclosed, and the strong chlorine smell made it less comfortable to use. One small note regarding the bathroom: the bathtub did not have any grip or support on the backrest, which made it feel slippery and slightly less relaxing. Overall, aside from the initial arrival experience and a few minor details, the stay was excellent. With a calmer, better-coordinated welcome process at the ground floor, this hotel could deliver a truly seamless luxury experience. I would still recommend staying here and would consider returning in the future.

Now I truly understand why The Langham Jakarta is nominated as the No. 1 hotel in Jakarta. From the moment we arrived until the very end of our stay, the atmosphere and service were absolutely top-notch. Every staff member was incredibly friendly, professional, skilled, and genuinely attentive. I chose The Langham Jakarta to plan a surprise birthday for my mum, and they delivered far beyond my expectations. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, making the celebration truly special and unforgettable. shout out to Langham Decoration team (Naomi, Yuca, and Felicia) who has been assist in decorating the room and we receive special Birthday cake to. that's very thoughtful and amazing. ..we are speechless, I will definitely be coming back on my next visit to Jakarta. Thank you again Naomi, Yuca and Felicia for making my mum's Birthday memorable and unforgettable.

The Langam hotel Jakarta is an exceptionally fantastic hotel to stay at. The rooms, restaurants and facilities are outstanding but the service of the team at Langham beats it all. Professional, friendly so helpful. The lunch I had at Tom’s was really great and the cocktails and lobster maki roll at their Artesian bar were flawless! I need to mention Eki, Eve, Venncy-concierges at the hotel who went above and beyond to arrange have my Rimaowa suitcase repaired in a few hours before my departure. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the amazing waitress I had at the Artisian bar but she also deserves a big thank you! I can without any doubt highly recommend this hotel!!
