The Langham, Shenzhen

After staying at the Ritz-Carlton in Hong Kong at the ICC Tower, I checked into The Langham in Shenzhen and I must say I was very positively surprised. From the exterior of the hotel to the lobby, the style, the interior design and the rooms, everything fits perfectly. You immediately feel connected to the history and character of the hotel. The luxurious touch, the choice of materials, and the attention to small details make the stay truly special. The breakfast is very extensive and delicious. You can clearly see that the management truly cares. The manager is personally present during breakfast, checking that everything is in order and asking guests if anything is missing. This level of attention is rare and very much appreciated. I stayed for four nights in total and would rate value for money, quality, room size, service, staff friendliness and breakfast with more than five stars because everything here is just right. Also worth mentioning is the direct connection to a shopping mall. From the second floor, you can walk straight into the mall, which is very convenient for picking up small items or gifts.

The Langham is a beautiful immaculately presented hotel. Check in was smooth and efficient and it is a lovely touch that the ladies are presented with a pink rose on arrival|We were slightly apprehensive to problems with the language barrier but pleasantly surprised that English is freely spoken. I think it’s worth the extra to opt for a club room with access to the club lounge where you are very well looked after. Also nice to have the choice of having breakfast in Silks the main buffet restaurant with numerous cuisines and choices available or a small personal quiet breakfast chosen from the menu at the club lounge. The only improvement on the club lounge would be the choice of a different white wine in the evenings as I was not keen on the one offered whereas there was a choice of two red wines. |The hotel is in an excellent location and within close proximity to the metro station. |Also found Xiangmi park to walk around in the mornings which is close by |Although we didn’t use the pool there is a decent sized gym/fitness area. |The rooms are cleaned and serviced daily to a very high standard. |Highly recommend The Langham. Superb customer service all round with very polite and courteous staff. I would definitely return if I were to visit Shenzhen again. Loved it !! 10/10 👏🩷 Thank you 🙏🏻

I have stayed in this hotel multiple times. I have enjoyed the best service especially on my 50th wedding anniversary. They decorated my room and my dining table with flowers and treats. Special thanks to Vicky, manager in Tang Court; Cora, front desk manager; Cynthia Lee, Guest Relations Manager and the incredible staff at the Concierge Desk Woody Wu. They provided me with outstanding service. Because of them, I will stay in the Langham whenever I go to Shenzhen. They treated me like a VIP. Best service ever! Thank you all!

I stayed one night to celebrate my birthday. The receptionist was delightful and very welcoming. The hotel surprised me with a room upgrade as it was my birthday and delivered a special birthday cupcake to my room which made my stay extra special. The buffet breakfast had a vast choice of different dishes both Asian and western including freshly made to order beef noodles and rice rolls. Staff were always positive, helpful and smiling.

Our family of four stayed twice during the holidays. Each time was a multi-day stint in the same room. If you happen to be traveling with little ones (ours are ages 3 and 5), The Langham, Shenzhen is a no-brainer. The location is very convenient with plenty of food options nearby. Random: there's even a small Go-Kart track in the underground mall next door. I'm not usually keen on eating hotel food but the breakfast buffet is second to none. Our kids had absolutely no issues given the multitude of quality cuisines served during breakfast. What really stood out was the extremely helpful and friendly staff. Special shoutouts to Lucas, Ismael, and Michael. Seeing and speaking with them on a daily basis really grounded our trip and they made the Langham feel like our home away from home. I typically don't leave reviews but the three folks mentioned really deserved a shoutout!

It's a gem of a hotel and if I'm ever returning to Shenzhen, Langham hotel would be my 1st choice! We had a wonderful 3 night stay here. The room is large and very clean with all the necessary amenities and more. Think dimmer lights and a charging workstation. Breakfast variety is good and they make minor changes to the food choices everyday, a plus for us ovo lacto vegetarian. Love the millet porridge with steamed Chinese yam and the steamed rice roll is divine! Topping off, Langham hotel has a crew of wonderful staff who are energetic and keen to serve from the front office to conceirge to housekeeping and the restaurant. They are warm and friendly and provide service with a heart. Mike from conceirge epitomizes everything hotel guests look for. He recommended places to visit and also helped us to get a cab and is always so cheerful and helpful every time we see him. Location of the hotel is convenient, a nice stroll to nearest station took abt 10min. Will return to Langham hotel in a jiffy given the opportunity.

My family and I had a relaxing and fun time at The Langham. We had a club lounge room and for us it was totally worth it. The lounge is a great place to relax and unwind after a day out sightseeing and shopping. We were able to enjoy the afternoon tea and cocktails. There was a wide selection of food available all day as well. ||||Our room was large, spacious and came with a beautiful view. We had a corner room so is was two walls worth of windows. ||||The gym and swimming pools especially the outdoor pool were fantastic and we spent an afternoon in the sun swimming and enjoying the jacuzzi. ||||Finally my sister is gluten intolerant and the hotel once they knew did all that they could to provide her with options at breakfast. We totally appreciated that. ||||All the staff were friendly from the people opening the doors, to cleaners, restaurant staff, front desk and club lounge workers.

The Langham surpassed any and every travel experience I have every had!! The property is beautiful, the staff is well trained, pleasant and accomodating and the location is great. Unfortunately I did not get to use all of the services the hotel offered, but I will return soon. I experienced a number of challenges during my time in China, but the hotel more than made up for any negative experience without even knowing the impact. The Langam, Shenzhen is a big reason I want to return.
