The Langley, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Buckinghamshire

We came to celebrate a birthday with afternoon tea. Everything from start to finish was luxury. We often have afternoon tea in 5 start hotels in London and i can honestly say that this was exceptional. Really pleased we discovered this hotel and we will definitely revisit. They have the best selection of teas I have ever seen! Attention to detail is spot on. The service was attentive. Definitely a jewel in Buckinghamshire’s crown. Perhaps they may consider allowing small well behaved dogs, as that would be fabulous!

I visited The Langley today 12/02/2026 as part of my ongoing birthday celebrations and had the pleasure of using the spa facilities. Although I didn’t stay overnight, the experience was absolutely exceptional. The hotel itself is stunning and truly luxurious, and the spa is one of the finest and best-kept I’ve visited. The facilities were immaculate, beautifully maintained, and felt very high-end throughout. The staff were attentive, professional, and added to the overall relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium spa experience and I cannot wait to return.

Just recently returned from a stay at The Langley. First off the hotel is a hidden gem with Langley Park and extremely secure; with a security checkpoint just outside the property with a by name list of all expected guests. Check-in went extremely well. We booked through AMEX FHR and also had Marriott Titanium Elite Status. We every upgraded to the Seymour Suite. We arrived at the property early and the staff had no issues holding onto our luggage while we went out to explore Windsor Castle (about a 20 minute drive south). Once we returned we received a tour of the property from Sam on the front desk team and our room which was lovely - everything you expect an English Countryside Manor to be.|The Afternoon Tea was delightful and we thought it was even better than Claridges in London. Cocktails at the Churchill bar were also quite nice. We also ordered room service which came extremely quick and the food was delicious.|We did have a minor hiccup due to a mixup in communication for preordering a room enhancement upon arrival. However upon notification, the staff went above and beyond, wiping all charges and immediately providing a bottle of Champagne and chocolate truffles with a handwritten note for the inconvenience.|Other than that minor discrepancy, everything at the property was superb and we cannot wait to return. Would highly recommend booking if traveling to London for an idealic countryside escape for at least a night or two!

We experienced a very warm welcome from Stewart our concierge, his ethos and engagement with us was excellent, and totally expected, in fact beyond expectations, of such a fine property. From Reception to elsewhere, nothing was too much trouble. The bar, refreshment service, the Cedar Room, stunning spa and two pools were a delight. Our rooms were perfect, the room service prompt and polite. The building, architecture, decor and furniture suited our tastes perfectly. We enjoyed extensive walks, kite flying on the lawns was fun, and my granddaughter age 7 has already spied her choice of room for her wedding reception! The only query we had was the inflexible policy towards the changing area for the stunning spa and pool, where single parent or single gender parent/s with different sex child, changing facility needs to be clarified. An all round awesome family experience, for which we were very grateful, our sincere thanks to all at the hotel, and at the senior levels of property and group management. We will be back, to our newly established favourite English hotel. We have also placed The Langley at the top of our recommendations for events, clients and industry friends.

I’ve just left after a one night stay which was my first at this property and it was absolutely outstanding and will definitely not be my last. Hard not to be gushing but starting with the beautiful setting and convenience for Heathrow. The check-in experience was seamless and friendly with the gent who checked me in showing me where everything was. I booked a spa appointment for some pampering which was in lovely facilities and just great. Afternoon tea, dinner, and then cocktails in the charming churchill room were all very tasty. Beyond all of this though what was so distinguishing was the kindness, attentiveness, and friendliness of the staff who made me feel so welcome. Cannot recommend enough and already looking forward to my next visit.

I have not even checked out of my room yet but i am so in love with this hotel, I felt the need to sing its praises. From the moment you walk in, it is exactly how a 5 star hotel is meant to feel: enveloped in luxury. The staff are beyond kind and go above and beyond in every manner. The gym & the spa are absolutely lovely, the food is phenomenal and the grounds are stunning for walks or bike rides. I cannot say enough. If you are looking for a nice countryside getaway, this is your place. I am so grateful I decided to leave the hustle & bustle to come to this tranquil serenity filled stay.

An Unforgettable Honeymoon Stay at The Langley, Buckinghamshire 🤍 We spent the last night of our honeymoon at The Langley, and it was the perfect ending to our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the hotel’s charm and beauty. Nestled in the Buckinghamshire countryside, the estate feels timeless, elegant, peaceful, and effortlessly luxurious. The staff were extremely exceptional, welcoming us with genuine warmth and attention to detail that made our stay feel so special. Every interaction was kind and professional, and we truly felt cared for from start to finish. Our room was stunning, spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel both indulgent and inviting. Waking up to views of the lush grounds was an absolute dream. While we didn’t use the spa during our short stay, it’s a remarkable feature of the property and a wonderful perk for anyone looking to unwind and recharge. The entire atmosphere of the hotel encourages relaxation and romance, exactly what you’d hope for on a honeymoon. From the exceptional dining to the serene setting, The Langley exceeded every expectation. It’s a place that makes you slow down, savor the moment, and feel genuinely cared for. We left wishing we had booked a few more nights, it was the perfect finale to our honeymoon and an experience we’ll never forget. The Langley is pure elegance, and we can’t wait to return.

The Langley is a beautiful hotel set in magnificent grounds. Although our suite was very cold and although reporting to reception twice who said it would be regulated remotely it stayed cold through our stay. However the room was beautiful with stunning views. |I paid in full a week in advance for the New Year’s Eve package for myself and hubby. A day before we were due to visit ,the full amount was deducted again from my account. I contacted the hotel and after explaining I had already paid I was told this second large amount was done by the night staff and would be returned into my account, which it was the same morning. |I e mailed David in reservations who had done the original reservation to complain but had no response. |On check out we were given a bill of over £700. I disputed this as the only bill we should have had would be for a few drinks from the night before and reception had taken a pre authorisation of £200 from my husbands card on arrival to cover these expenses. I repeatedly told reception this was incorrect, however for some reason they could not grasp this and clearly did not know what to do. I was then presented with a revised bill, twice, for roughly the same amount. The unprofessionalism of the reception staff was unbelievable and eventually they got someone else to deal with it and we had possibly the correct bill. This delayed us for around 40 minutes while they sorted it and finally we left the hotel. |The next morning my husband had had £700 taken from his account by the hotel. I emailed the manager detailing the whole situation from start to finish. He replied that morning by e mail to apologise and get it sorted within 72 hours. I phoned the hotel and told them I was not prepared wait 72 hours and would like this money credited to my husbands account asap. The final bill he came up with was again , different to the final bill reception presented and his bill was slightly more !|I e mailed them to say I also want the exorbitant service charges refunded. |I have since been passed onto another member of staff who is now dealing with this and today some of the monies has been refunded to my husbands account and hopefully rest to follow very shortly. |The incompetence of some of the staff was totally unprofessional and quite astounding. |Never have we experienced anything like this st any hotel before and for a 5 star Marriott was totally unacceptable

How would you like to live at the estate hunting lodge of the Duke of Marlborough? Wishes came true and the opportunity is right here. Visiting this property is a paramount experience. It is a stay in a museum and one can wonder the halls of this property for a very long time. From paintings, to elaborate finishes, The Langley certainly deserves plentiful recognition. As a Titanium guest, I was able to get upgraded to a three story suite, which in itself is a spectacular upgrade by multiple categories up. The property sadly does not participate in Suite Nights, so it meant having to reach out to the manager prior. But hey, it's the result that counts right? Not only that, but the room included a favorite dessert and was beautifully appointed. There is an unquestionable "wow" factor to this hotel. Things like the television coming out from a cabinet by the bed mechanically with a touch of a button, top notch toiletries and impeccable finishes. The breakfast experience was pretty basic, but cutlery and plating was beautiful. The service at the front desk was truly spectacular and the team was always very helpful. At breakfast and lunch, a bit slow, requiring some chasing down of the same girl working both establishments. The burger was deliciously cooked for lunch and complimented perfectly with a fresh champagne. Nothing like burgers and champagne right? Walking through the vast grounds, it is pure pleasure to explore the British countryside and see swans, goats and plentiful wild birds. The entire estate is an elaborate escape from the hustle of London, only a short distance away and allows one to dive into different world of luxury and history.

Our five-day stay at The Langley was delightful. The facilities were lovely, and the service was consistently friendly and efficient. Everything was first class, with all the amenities one expects in a luxury hotel. We particularly enjoyed strolling the hotel's beautifully maintained grounds as well as the many pathways in the huge Langley Country Park that surrounds the hotel property. We chose The Langley because we wanted a quiet, relaxing getaway, and it was an excellent choice.

Told the hotel I would arrive at 2pm and I am at the Ambassador level at Marriott's. The room was not ready and stuck us in a small room where you can here all the other guests. I was told that I could get the hotel to drop us off with their car service In Windsor. 30 minutes later they said they were calling me to tell me it was not possible. Nobody called me. Worse when I went to front desk they did not even order me a taxi even though I told them I wanted to leave at 6:30pm Not the treatment or service I would expect from a so called luxury hotel!
