Been here 5 consecutive years as a family of 4 (south family room). Really great location, right next to gondolas and in front of kids ski school. Their own apres ski in front. Lunch can be in restaurant or at the apres ski. Amazing view from the balcony. Rooms are outdated already (and the kids room is quite small), but the price is also quite competitive - so the ratio price / quality is alright. Breakfast is also fine. Reception people are very nice. But again, is all about location.

Food corner below the hotel , right at the bottom of the slopes and next to ski school. They take great advantage of this prime location to overprice everything the sell.Small bottle of water 5 chf, tomatoes soup in a paper cup 11 chf. Hot dog 9 chf and on and on.Well be aware you can walk 50 meters towards the ice rink and you get all the same for about 1/2 price and service is much more friendly.

We came for a coffee in the morning after skiing. The bar staff extremely friendly, tailoring to our specific request for a latte macchiato. The coffees were delicious and they even offered us free croissants. The space is relaxing and you have a beautiful view on the mountains.

Had a great day learning to ski and thought to top it off, we would visit the Larix bar to celebrate the end of our first day. We sat at the Bar and bought our drinks only to be told that we were not allowed to be sat at the bar? The server guy was extremely rude to us and did not give us an explanation as to why we were not allowed. There were clearly other people sat at the bar? He had a beard with a black saas fee hat on and was working on the outside bar with the fire pit. Please improve and train your staff to be better and pleasant for customers in the future. We will not be visiting this bar again.

The most important thing to note is the limited hours of the front desk (10am to 6pm in the summer). This is an issue if you might arrive late or want to leave your bags in the morning after checking out. The hotel is absolutely serious about wanting you to contact them before you arrive to confirm your arrival time although the email they sent to me had no return email address. The bed (although not the pillows) was comfortable and the hot water and wifi both worked well. In-room safe was not large enough for a computer. In contrast to many smaller Swiss hotels, there's scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast. My room had a great view of the mountains. The staff were helpful and friendly and spoke good English. In contrast to some Saas-Fee hotels, my Saastal card was already printed when I checked-in. If you leave luggage, it is left in the bar area so there's no real security for it.

The place was awesome. The Larix is entirely refurbished. New, comfortable furniture - everything was great from the beds/linens to fixtures. It was very comfortable and thoroughly clean. Hosts were absolutely friendly and awesome. Even their puppy, Summit, a Bernese Doodle welcomed us and made it feel more like home. This was my best hotel experience ever. I will for sure go back there for weekends throughout the year. They have secure storage for skis and bikes inside the building. Very cozy library room/common area with fireplace. Wonderfully decorated with careful attention to detail. I plan to return in a few months.

Much to like about The Larix. First, you simply cannot beat the location. The ski school, Spielboden, rentals, sledding, apres-ski time... all right there. You simply cannot pick a more convenient location. At the end of the day, you ski down, pop off your skis and walk into the boot room - perfect!||||Everyone was super nice and helpful - from the front desk to the nice guy who helps with the little "bus" to Alex, Oronzo, Manolo, Sandra... everyone was great! Restaurant was nice and prices reasonable compared to other places in town. Get ready for sticker shock on food in Saas-Fee although comparable with other Swiss resorts.||||The room location facing the slopes was quite nice so we could see exactly what the conditions were like. Room was cleaned regularly and we had enough storage space. The family room was a little tight but still gave our kids space to have their own room. While the bed was fine, the pillows were not great. ||||Would definitely recommend.

Hotel looks good from the outside, I even booked a room here - i have a question about my reservation but…they are not responding on booking, not responding in emails, not answering the calls, not calling back and don’t reply on IG. I guess I should go there directly to ask the question and come back home later? not acceptable if there is no way to contact the object. Trying since 2 weeks. Guys can you check your mailbox there?
