We were lucky to book a room at this wonderful hotel and we didn’t even know how lucky we were. It’s such a nice hotel but above all the whole team is going above and beyond. Be it the restaurant recommendations, the friendliness, the cleanliness, it is truly amazing. |The accommodation is gorgeous, rooms are modern, the pool area and garden are a very nice oasis after sightseeing in the city. |We will come back

What an excellent hotel!! The entire staff was incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, helpful in making reservations or planning things out. As a solo traveler they made me feel welcomed. Lovely guests too - the sunset cruise was a great way to connect with others. Great location, most things are within walking distance. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Lovely hotel in the center of Lisbon. The staff was great and the breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed my stay there very much. The room was spacious, clean, and had an amazing bathroom. I will definitely book there again next time I’m in Lisbon.

The staff was exceptional: personable, attentive, kind, courteous and beautiful inside and out. My room and the hotel was immaculate and visually appealing. GREAT Design. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. I wish I stayed longer! I flew to Lisbon from California for a wedding and I was not looking forward to the long flights. I would happily make the trip again because being able to stay at The Late Birds Lisbon would be my reward. I am proud and extremely grateful to be a Member of the Flock!!! I hope to be back again in the near future.

Phillipe,(asst manager) Ryan and the other Portuguese front desk staff were super helpful. They even bring your luggage to your room. The owner is also super nice. Breakfast was amazing. Location was very close to gay bars and sauna. We will definitely be back.

The staff is extraordinarily accommodating and helpful. The hotel is charming and beautifully appointed. The provided breakfast was delicious. The room was clean, and extremely comfortable. Above and beyond experience. I will absolutely stay again, and I highly recommend.

One of the best gay hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s clean, comfy beds, high pressure showers, excellent location, solid breakfast and the staff is truly exceptional. Special shoutout to Ryan, the front desk manager—you can tell he sharpened his guest service skills at the Four Seasons. While this isn’t the Four Seasons, it offers incredible value for the price and creates a warm, social atmosphere that makes it easy to meet new friends. They also organize local tours and events for guests, which adds an extra layer of fun to the stay.

This is a wonderful Hotel which caters to gay community. Hotel is very nice. The rooms are very nice. The pool areas are Very nice. Everything about the place was top-notch. I will go back and you should check it out too.

I stayed at The Late Birds over the U.S. Memorial Day weekend. I found it after a general search ( had the Sofitel Liberdade booked). I'm so glad I stayed at The Late Birds; Carlos and Duarte are very welcoming, as is Greg, whom I wish great things on his next chapter ;) . Everything is spotless and modern. Having lived in London previously, I enjoyed the ever cheesy Eurovision across the Late Birds pool, but as that is only one night this year, I am sure Carlos will find many other events to broadcast. Fantastic Lisbon, highly recommend a visit to the late birds to experience a fusion of gay meets contemporary Lisbon culture. Facilities are to an A grade standard and include ensuite and access to swimming pool and bar. Close to all the gay and tourist hot spots. Carlos and duarte are incredible hosts and really encapsulate the spirit of Lisbon. Highly recommended louis

Third time I stayed with Carlos and Duarte. They are such gifted hosts! The beds, the linen, everything is absolute top quality! Wish I had this at home. The design and decoration of the building, the rooms and even the garden with the green pool and peacocks peeking down from the walls, is astonishing. The cupcakes at breakfast I called "Beijos de Duarte", these are heavenly! When you are in for a real treat, this is where you wanna go.
