I had a awful time at this restuarant. I’ve waited for more than a hour for my food and they even come with the wrong order to my table. The staff was rude! Their drinks and smoothies was alright but you can definetly get better drinks in Copenhagen for that money. I recommend that you try “mad hatter” instead. This place has good energy and good food. They charge 4kr for water and then donate that to charity. Staff is really nice.

After a long morning or exploring Reykjavik, the Laundromat was a chill spot to sit, rest, and enjoy a beer and some great food. We stumbled past the storefront while walking on a food tour or Reykjavik (something you MUST try), and the exterior was so inviting that we made a note that we needed to return. The inside is fun and vibrant. The ROYGBIV bookshelf bar counter is pleasing to the eyes, and the jet red chairs and chairs and lamp shades give a vibe of a cozy yet trendy coffee shop. The food was incredible and was affordable. You should definitely try one of the local beers. I'm not lying when I say, Iceland Beer is some of the best beer I have ever had, and I'm bummed you can't find it in the states. Viking beer was my absolute favorite. This location was very welcoming and the staff extremely hospitable. It's also located in the heart of Reykjavik. It's a must try place if you find yourself in the land of Fire & Ice! Cheers!!

Easy to find because the surrounding restaurants and shops are dark colored and the red colored theme of this cafe stands out. I get extremely paranoid when traveling about running out of clean clothes. So a few days into our stay in Scandinavia, I was already looking to clean some clothes. After some research on "montvask " places in Copenhagen, I found the Laundromat cafe. The guy was nice to instruct on the use of the machine. It only takes 10 DKK coins and the soap comes out of the machine so I was relieved because I did not bring any detergent. The cashier was nice to give me change. The wash is 50 DKK and the dry cycle was 10 DKK for 7 minutes. I had a small load and it is a huge dryer so it took my clothes only 7 minutes to dry anyways. While waiting for the laundry to finish, you can sit inside and enjoy the free internet. Or you can eat in the cafe. We did not try the food as I wanted to try next door's food which I bookmarked via Yelp. There are also boutique shops to peruse while waiting for your laundry.

Very cool place!!! We been in Italy 5 days and needed to do laundry. We found this spot got out of the rain and did our laundry and had some lattes and read our book!!! Clothes are clean and we are set to roll!!

Very nice, chill place with a funky vibe! I came here with an old friend I hadn't seen in years and it was the perfect place to catch up. There weren't too many people when we arrived for our super late lunch, but by the time we left it was almost full. It's a young, trendy crowd that hangs out there and it's clearly quite popular. They have lots of vegetarian options on the menu, which is rare in Denmark, but made me very happy. It was hard to chose what I wanted to eat, but I ended up ordering the Latin Avocado Sandwich (98kr) which is basically a ginormous avocado toast with gouda, cheddar, arugula, salsa and creme fraiche. The dish certainly has a Danish twist, but it was quite good and very filling. Unlike the avocado toasts that I am used to, this one has almost a whole avocado on it! It also comes with a huge portion of fries. It's an American sized portion and I couldn't finish it all. The food was really good and I had a mojito to go with my lunch. It was yummy and freshly made.

Always kissed by the sun and surrounded by cool people and good vibes, The Laundromat Café is the right place where to sip a good coffee and to meet new people. Weather there are backpackers randomly stopping by and sharing their adventure with you, or locals boosting they morning with a ginger shot, you'll feel completely embraced and welcomed by the danish hyggeligt mood. I suggest their Cappuccino... lækker lækker ! :) Waiting for your AirB&B room to be ready or for your friends to join you for brunch? There's plenty of books and travel guides to keep you company!

No sure where the cafe was, so I was very confuse. A washing machine I initially was trying to use broke mid processing of the start of the wash cycle. I paid twice for wash. Not pleased

A warm and welcoming place. There's beer on tap and in the bottle. Service is nice and generally quick. Really busy during weekend brunch time. But we've never had to wait for a table. Food is slightly on the salty side for my taste, but not bad. Portions are big.

Great coffee and pancakes all while you wait for your laundry to wash and dry, every town should have one. Amazing ambience and laid back casual vibes Chet Baker playing in the background. This place had a great diner feel without being overly american although any american would feel right at home here. For me as a Brit away from home this place is a comfortable way to spend a few hours especially as the staff are incredibly helpful and look after you with a smile. This place is a must visit especially for backpackers and those who need comfort away from home...

Super delicious cafe with great avocado toast!

Looked on google maps for laundry place and this spot popped up; so stoked it did! You can eat and drink while doing your laundry!! I had a latte and "The Dirty" breakfast - scrambled eggs, house made sausages, etc It was delicious! The owner was super cool, gave me money for the machines and added to my tab and the washing machines have soap included so easy one stop shop to freshen up your undies!

We visited Laundromat Cafe after hearing about it from a friend who lived in Copenhagen for a summer. We came for breakfast and found the food to be pretty good! It is definitely a very unique cafe in the sense that it is also a fully functional laundromat. It was a very unique dining experience. The Dirty Breakfast was very good and filling as well. The only thing is that it's relatively more expensive than other, similar cafes that we encountered during our stay in Copenhagen.

We needed to do a few loads of laundry while traveling in Copenhagen and the Laundromat Cafe was the perfect spot to do so! Conveniently located just a short walk from the metro, it was very easy to reach. Once inside, you'll find a cute cafe with a small laundry (3 small-capacity washers and 3 mid-capacity dryers) to the right in the back. The machines were clean and they had boxes of detergent (one regular, one sensitive skin) with scoops Inside for you to use if you didn't bring your own. There were two round red laundry baskets for you to use and a clean counter with stools for sitting and folding. One of the lovely employees behind the cafe counter came back and showed us how the machines work (basically just select water temperature and push to start--super simple). The machines had the option to change languages as well (at least the dryers--cannot recall whether the washers did too). The wash cycle took about an hour and the dryer cycle was set at 40 minutes (we didn't stuff the dryers so our loads were done after the one cycle). NO COINS REQUIRED! You simply keep track of how many loads you do and then let them know at the counter when you're done. We had breakfast while waiting (it was yummy!) so they simply added it to our total bill and we paid by credit card. It wasn't cheap at 50 dkk per load, but it was well worth it for the service, cleanliness and to have WiFi, board games, books and lots of lovely families coming in for breakfast (no one else did laundry while we were there, which was a good thing because we used all three machines!?). The icing on the cake was that we realized Juno, one of the yummiest bakeries in Copenhagen was right down the street, so when we left the cafe with our suitcases full of clean laundry, we took a short walk and got some pastries to take back to the rest of the family. All in all, not bad for a laundry morning!!

The place is great looking and you really can do your laundry while having breakfast (!), staff is very nice and friendly and they make one hell of a mint/mango/ginger smoothie. Their playlist is on flick. My only regret is not carrying any change to leave them a tip, that's the issue with credit cards nowadays. I wish they had a Square counter or something where I could tip white my credit card. ^______^

Needed a place to get some laundry done on a Sunday. They were one of a few coin laundries open in Copenhagen on Sunday. Once you get passed the fact that it's a restaurant with a little coin laundry in the back, you'll be okay. Having never seen anything to this degree in Canada, I had to get passed the idea of the patrons of the restaurant being able to see me pull my dirty underwear out of a bag and load the washer. Having said that, it's the norm here and nobody paid any attention at all. 4 washing machines and 2 dryers, so it's not huge. Something to keep in mind if there are people ahead of you. We paid 80 ddk for two washers and about 30 for the dryer. I DO like the cafe because if you're bored, you can grab a bite while waiting for your laundry.

Average food, expensive laundry, ok service. Our airbnb host raved about this place and we finally hit it up on the way out of town. The kids had pancakes and the response was that they were ok. I had a disappointing Dirty Breakfast and my wife Spinach omelette was just Ok.

Honestly one of the best breakfasts I've had while traveling. I had the dirty breafast. As you can tell from the name, it wasn't anything fancy, but everything was sourced locally, prepared perfectly and super tasty! I was impressed with their tea offerings as well as their freshly made juices/smoothies. Next time I'm any where near the area, I'll be back!

It was almost two years ago, but I remember the day my sweetheart and I wandered over with our suitcases full of laundry from two weeks of wandering about being International Bright Young Things. The space is airy and charming, indie around the edges. Sadly I hadn't thought to buy detergent, foolishly assuming we could purchase some there and either the dryers weren't working very well, or I really don't understand Danish appliances - so all our clothes were popped back into the suitcase rinsed if not soaped and very damp. So the Laundromat portion of our journey was a wash (as it were)! The food, however, is hearty and very good, vegetarian friendly and vegan friendly if you don't eat the yoghurt and ost, for example, in the Clean morgenmad/vegetar (I gave them to my omnivorous sweetheart who did rave about the cheese). I think that's what I ordered anyways! The menu has perhaps changed or I can't remember what I ate as I don't remember there being eggs but I do remember potatoes! O, yelp, why weren't you around in København when I was?

The Laundromat Cafe is just what it sounds like -a laundromat but also a cafe. The place mainly appears to be a cafe but still there are washing machines and dryers there as well. It has the old style American diner style of furnishing and design and it has a rather nice vibe to it. The food is focused on simple brunch dishes and burgers. The brunch is a notch above the standard one and can really be recommended. The smoothies and juices are excellent and made from fresh fruits. They do also have a good selection of beer (mainly bottled ones) and some wines. All in all a very pleasant place to hang around for a quick bite to eat or some drinks.

Nice, little, cosy place.... They have the basic café food like burgers, sandwiches and salads and it's quite ok. The staff is friendly, polite and easygoing. A fine place to sit outside in the summertime.

I loved their Sunday brunch! I got the Dirty Brunch and it came with eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, fruit, smoothie, and yogurt. The prices are a little steep (139 kr for the brunch plate) but it was worth it. Their service was also really fast! You can also actually do your laundry there if you want

This is also another place just around the corner of my sisters apartment, so that is why we decided to give it a try. It is always packed with people and kids (again - me not a big fan of the little ones) My sister had a really nice burger, its looked juicy and the fries where homemade. I had a brunch plate, its was ok, with the usual stuff. I would go for the burger next time.

Very nice, I ordered something, and sometimes i get an extra with the price on the house. The owner or shop manager is a very nice person. I go usually just for a chill and I can concentrate on what I am doing.

Great brunch,not cheap but really huge. The fruit juice served with the brunch is amazing, and the place itself is very nice. The staff is friendly and fast. Can be really packed though!

Food and hot chocolate are decent. What I like are the friendly staff and the lively and cosy atmosphere. I think it is a very nice place for a hangout (i.e not your coffee place for working or reading). This corner of the city has a lot to offer as well!

No idea why this place has only 3 stars. But the food here is incredible. Perfect portions with excellent natural flavors. The avocado toast was one of the best I've had! Strawberry raspberry smoothie was also delicious. I definitely recommend this place!

This place was simply awesome. We all loved it. The food was good and reminded me of something we would get back in San Francisco. The staff was super nice to us, and the outside seating is worth waiting for. While it's mainly a restaurant, it does actually have washer and dryers there if you wanted to do your laundry. While we were there we didn't see anyone using them, but they had been obviously used. This is another place I could see myself at quite often if I lived there. It's really worth checking out - head their for brunch and you'll be a happy camper!

Got milk and a cookie, played some chess with a friend. The chocolate chip cookie was pretty good. The owner was sitting right next to me and helped me out a little in my game of chess, nice guy. The Cafe has a nice cozy vibe, good for those cloudy days to make you feel at home.

My friend and I, sadly, did not get our laundry done here, but we got something more worthwhile, a really filling, American-style brunch! The decor of the cafe is really cute, it has a very 1920's diner feel to it, think Happy Days with the red seats and ironic and humorous posters, all with a Danish flair for hygge. We asked the server to translate the brunch menu for us, and he was really sweet about - he tried really hard to give as most accurate of a translate as he could and we really did appreciate it. Suffice it to say, we were hungry, so we took a seat after ordering a dirty brunch. Quickly, we noticed the tables surrounding us had ordered the same thing so we had high anticipation of it. We were served a small, but really tasty smoothie, I think it was a mint mango smoothie. It was really refreshing and had me pumped for the rest of the meal. We were served the usual bread basket, it was cold and a little more chewy than what I'm used to at other cafes, but it kept my stomach from growling, so it was sufficient. It took our food 15 - 20 minutes to come out and when it did, we were in awe. It was an absurdly large plate of food. It had mini-(American style)pancakes with maple syrup, Canadian bacon (the ham-like meat), scrambled eggs, hotdog sausages(?) a slice of pineapple, orange slices, cheese, home fries, cantaloupe, and museli with yogurt. It was absurdly filling. I swear, it was a task to eat because the quantity of food was intense, but it was really, really good. As an American student studying in Denmark, it made me really nostalgic for home but it served its purpose in keeping my crazy desire for American food at bay with the Danish interpretation of its equivalent. I really enjoyed the place, the servers were sweet and the food was good. If not for the high price of eating out in Copenhagen, I would have tried eating out this place at least once a month to keep my American pancake craving at bay.

Love the concept of this place! We were visiting so didn't need the laundry part but always thought something like this would be perfect for a city (having lived in NYC where you tend not to have your own washing machine). Food is good, not amazing but there is a varied menu that includes all day breakfast items. Portions are large. The place was buzzing and even as late as 3pm on a Sunday it was a squeeze to get a table. Great brunch spot!

When I first heard about this place, I loved the idea and the concept. It tried it several times - for coffee, for dinner, for breakfast - with the same experience every time: Really bad service. I probably haven't experienced worse service at any café in Copenhagen. The food has been okay - not fantastic, and not a disaster, but with so bad service, I just don't want to give them more chances, than the five times they have already gotten.

Very nice cafe, more popular for food than laundry. But there was no wait for the few machines, which were clean and efficient. Nice place to hang out while waiting for laundry. I had a delicious kefir smoothie. Food looked good. They also provided lots of change.

As a traveler it was great to find a place to rest, eat, and work while I did laundry. A wash cost 40 DKK and drying is 5 DKK per 5 minutes (took 20 minutes to dry my clothes). Make sure you bring coins!

Great service for both laundry and food! Very clean, modern and customer centric. Also very easy access if you're staying in Copenhagen city center (10 min by bus).

I quite like this place, mostly because it has a very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Also, they dare to serve somewhat un-traditional food, well prepared, simple, yet with a twist. Service was quite slow, but friendly.

Great place for a hungover morning - otherwise for a more ordinary morning the breakfast platters (quite generously sized) were a bit too greasy and heavy. The beer list looks amazing and is especially informative with the pictures. Fun concept as book and magazines play a large role in the interior decor. Definitely a unique joint worth a visit for the scene, if you're willing to shed your wallet.

Great brunch great pancakes and great burgers I love the laundromat always a nice atmosphere you have to go order to the bar though but that is how it is Denmark it is rare that you get service at your table in a cafe. Also they have very decent prices!

My dad and I were looking for a place to eat and stopped here - it's a nice, low-key place in a very good location and nice "local" vibe. The food was ok (the carrot soup - the best part) but it was nice sitting here for dinner and feeling like a local.

one of those fashionable places in town where Danish people try to convince themselves that they are not only rich spoiled nationalists. the results turns out to be convincing. international clientèle, generous food and Danish costumers that are friendly and not politically passive. that's nice! there is hope in that bar. forget about the i'm trying to be cooler and to look less rich than i am and just follow the rhythm. Having money after alll is not a crime and stop trying to show it all the time is actually respectable when it's done the way it is done in that bar.

I definitely agree with the other positive reviews. They served delicious food to two hungry San-Fran visitors to Copenhagen. Staff were friendly and genuine, they spoke some English, we spoke some Danish. We tried the burgers and their desert was equally tasty and filling. Recommended!
