Yelp
I've been a customer of The Laundry Room for past 4 years, with a brief hiatus after covid after moving out the area. It's the start of the 2023 year; new year new management, and new prices, and new practices.
Pros:
Clean
Only place with an 8 loader (as far as am I aware)
Wi-Fi a
Cons:
Since being I was really taken back by the prices of the machines.
An 8 load load on the machine Costs a whopping 10 dollars. This severely pushing the price point for laundry...
The driers were even more outlandish, it costs 50 cents to get the machine started, with each quarter giving you 3 mins of time. Unfortunately at the end of a 15 min load time, my clothes was still damp, and I spread my laundry over two driers. When I've been here before 15 mins was plenty to get clothes scorching hot on high, but today with the dampness of the clothes makes me wonder if they're doing their daily maintenance for adequate air flow.
This is the one that really bothered me from a customer service POV. You are a customer at the laundry matt, spending near 15 dollars on laundry and you still require customers to pay for the restroom? I understand why you need to lock the restrooms, the area unfortunately deals with a homeless population, but for goodness sakes allow your customers access to tokens. To me that was the biggest slap in the face.
