The Lawson Riverside Suites

What a wonderful stay we had with The Lawson Riverside Suites. We were made to feel welcome from beginning (while arranging the booking) to the end of our stay by the beautiful lady I first spoke to on the phone and the lady that checked us in :). The room was very spacious, super clean and very quiet. We did not hear any traffic noise or other quests . The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was effective and quiet. The bathroom was very spacious and could easily fit two people trying to get ready for an event. The room had all the equipment needed for a short or longer term stay. What I found really cute was a little complimentary breakfast bag (Cereal, fruit cup and juice) for our first morning. And for those that wear make up, this accommodation has even thought ahead there. As part of the usual soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, sanitary bag, shower cap.... There is even some make up wipes AND a grey face washer specifically for make up removal. Perfect. I always felt guilty using white face cloths (even after removing my make up fully).

Excellent location well appointed rooms. Hosts were gracious and accommodating and solved a problem for us graciously and generously. Clean, comfortable easy access. On the river so all the walks around are lovely and town centre an easy walk into. Highly recommend and will certainly stay there again. FYI the breakfast is pretty darn good.

Loved everything about our stay at The Lawson. Spacious, spotless room, super comfy bed, and a peaceful riverside location. Staff were warm and helpful, and the kitchenette and breakfast pack were great extras. Close to everything, with easy parking. Genuinely could not fault our experience, would definitely stay again.

Stayed at Lawson Riverside Suites on two occasions first time being for two nights on 18-19 December 2023 and the second time on 22 June 2024 just for the one night. The moment I walked into the place I was welcomed by Ellin who was so friendly and helpful. The place has so many old fashioned features and many new updated amenities. Both rooms I stayed in (room 5 first trip & room 9 second trip) were very spacious with work desk, lounge, very comfortable bed, best pillow I’ve ever slept on (room 5), modern bathroom, lots of kitchen space and several utensils. I was welcomed with a basic breakfast pack for my first night for both trips. The entire facility is immaculately clean. I noticed an upgrade to Smart TV's on my second trip making connecting to the Internet a breeze. Included in the facility is plenty of car parking, a lift to level 1, nice sitting areas inside and outside, complimentary laundry & dryer. The next day Ella was so friendly and spent time to have a chat with me about my travel adventures. On my final meeting for the first trip I met Jack the owner or manager he was very friendly. On my second trip I was greeted by Alicia who went out of her way to help me. I also noted on the second trip the dining and lounge room area on ground floor is now open it's a delightful area. Right next to the Riverside Walking Path and either a short drive or walk into town. A perfect spot for one night or an extended stay. The best place in Wagga Wagga by a mile.

The Lawson Riverside Suites offers fantastic value for money in the heart of Wagga Wagga. The front desk closes at 8pm, but as we knew we would be arriving later than that, we called reception and received a PIN to access our room after hours. This was done promptly and with no fuss. Fantastic service. A continental breakfast was also provided in our (massive) room. The bathroom was huge with plenty of hot water. The bed was a king, and was extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.

Probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The room was spacious, clean and really lovely. The receptionist was really helpful and friendly. We had breakfast at Henry's, the Cafe in the hotel, and it was delicious. A fantastic stay in Wagga. If you visit Wagga would recommend you stay here. Everything was close by, fantastic location.

Right on the river walk path which was great for walking. The room was super spacious, clean and quiet. We were close to town and walked to the shops in a few minutes. Continental breakfast with the first night was a nice touch. No complaints at all and would definately stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast here upon the recommendation of reception staff at Carlyle Suites where we had stayed overnight. Our host was an absolute delight. Great local knowledge and a very pleasant manner. I highly recommend eating at "Henry" when you are next in Wagga Wagga. 😊
