Laxmi Niwas Palace is a beautiful heritage property where the staff offer great service and the food is finger licking. ||The evening music performance and the flute performance in the morning were very soothing. ||The staff members such as Surender Rathore from F&B, Narendra Singh and Vikas were very warm and welcoming. ||We have had a very pleasant experience staying at this hotel and plan to visit again

This is a value for money palace stay - if there is any such thing. This is a proper palace where Viceroys and Princes would come stay and be entertained. However, despite its opulence, unlike its counterparts in Jaipur and Jodhpur, the property lacks the attention to detail, upkeep, and finesse that would have truly marked it out as a heritage luxury hotel. ||Everything about it is enormous. While tastefully decorated, there were bits which I found were missing or were overlooked. I was told I had been ‘upgraded’ and the room that I got was extremely spacious, on the ground floor, a few doors away from the Reception. This enormous room had no table lamps, and the lighting while adequate, left the room looking depressing. There was no way of letting natural light in despite there being four large windows. ||The bathroom was lovely and updated.||I was visiting in the middle of summer, traffic was low, and to my dismay, the swimming pool was closed for renovation. ||I found the service to be courtly, slow but perfectly adequate. ||I am not sure but I think this property is still being managed by members of the erstwhile royal family, and that probably accounts for some of the rough edges.||Would I stay here again? Yes, it if I got a good deal!

Despite the property’s visual charm and historical significance, our stay was unfortunately marred by blaring music played in the courtyard — right outside the guest rooms, due to a birthday party event taking place.||||The excessive volume, deep bass, and close proximity caused significant discomfort. When we raised the issue, the staff simply justified it as a “scheduled event,” showing little regard for the inconvenience caused to resident guests.||||A property of this heritage should atleast consider the peace of its staying guests. If such events are part of the regular schedule, the management should clearly inform potential guests at the time of booking — or even later by dropping a mail/text, just as hotels routinely notify guests in advance about scheduled maintenance (like pool closures). This transparency allows travellers to make an informed decision based on their expectations of a peaceful stay.

recently visited The Laxmi Niwas Palace in Bikaner and had an excellent experience. The food was great, especially the fried rice, which was awesome! The hospitality was top-notch, thanks to Saif Sumar Singh Ji, who did a wonderful job. Highly recommend this hotel for good food and hospitality!"

Huge rooms, magnificent dinning, retro English tunes, grand lobby, nice lawn. Everything about this palace is the most nearest to be called royal in all of the Rajasthan palaces. Nice dance performance at night, flute in morning. Food is nice. Rooms are also attached to big warnadas.

A Royal Experience! Staying at Laxmi Niwas Palace was like stepping back into the royal era. The architecture is jaw-droppingly beautiful, and the interiors are adorned with antique furniture, grand chandeliers, and vintage photographs. The staff were incredibly courteous and made us feel like royalty. The evening folk music and cultural show in the courtyard was the cherry on top!

I absolutely like staying here, old world charm. Please don’t compare with the modern amenities provided by other hotels. Definitely will visit one more time. Food was 4/5. Palace look more beautiful during night.
