The Lazy Cat

The Lazy Cat was easily our favorite spot in Minca. We ended up going twice, which says everything. The food was consistently great and the setting makes it a place you actually want to linger. What really stood out was the service. Justin was excellent. Attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely dialed in without overdoing it. He made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. If you’re in Minca and trying to pick a place, this one’s worth your time.

Juice with Milk was ok but not great. I order a pas thai. It was not sexy at all 😆. No greens, no nothing. Not mouth watering. No flavour. Taste only like soya sauce but a padhai is more than that. Funny thing, I sent back the next Days and I saw a pad thai on a table. It looked way better than mine. Maybe the chef was having a break? Anyways, good service and cool vibe.

Lovely spot where we sought refuge from the rain. Got the wok and my friend the ramen. Decent service and tasty meals. Got the 2 x 30 000 happy hour deal and the drinks were pretty strong- would come here again!

Food is good, staff are friendly. Takes a long time for food to come out (I think they forgot about our order both times) but the ambiance is great with it being next to the river. Salmon and steak were both good.

My boyfriend and I both ordered medium steaks, mine came good but my boyfriends came out still very very rare. As for the taste… really nothing special, not really bad but also not really good, tasted like a simple home made level steaks cooked on a pan (maybe I’m wrong but it didn’t taste like they were cooked any differently). The service was just fine not really something to write home about. With all that said, there is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and we did enjoy drinking beer there in the rain :)

Had a great meal at Lazy Cat. I am sure a lot of people come here for the burgers but we had fish and it was fantastic. Mixed Ceviche, Sea Bass and Tempura Shrimp. All were fantastic. Highly recommend.

We loved the food at this place. Great quality-to-price ratio.

I was immediately handed the English menu despite me speaking fluent Spanish which I gotta admit kind of puts me off. They had run out of tofu so I ordered the vegetarian burger, which was a bit disappointing. If choosing yuca you only get three sticks and not a small mountain like if you had chosen fries. I know this because my server got the order wrong and had to replace the fries. The burger itself was OK. The place itself is lovely.
